But I'm very happy with how it turned out!!This is my part for ZiakariAnimation's Unstoppable MEP! The theme is character/s with supernatural abilities!In this part, Aladdin is a prisoner with a secret lightning power, and he happens to be paired with Jim, his cellmate with a poisonous gas power. It was really hard for me to come up with a power for Jim, but I knew I wanted two things that together would explode, so I came up with electricity and gas! The two combine their powers to escape prison, and end up taking over the kingdom! I was originally going to have Aladdin stand on a pile of skulls, but I kind of liked the look of gold better. For the last few days I've been reblogging nothing but Tangled: The Series content! The show just ended with a really great bang and I really want to edit a full AMV with it one of these days! Luckily, xCartoonCarro opened an MEP dedicated to the series and I had to take part!!I tried to focus more so on Cassandra and Varian, since they had similar arcs of redemption and feeling like nobody would ever forgive them, which kind of fit the part of the song in my opinion. But I noticed pretty much all the parts were using Cassandra and a lot of repeated scenes from the final episode, so I wanted to use the last part of the MEP Part with clips from more important characters growing and overcoming challenges in episodes close to the end, Catalina, Lance, fake Eugene, etc. Anyway! I hope you like it!! And I hope if you saw the finale, you liked it too! I was really hoping for some more lines from Hector and Adira this season, and maybe an explanation about the black rocks. Cassandra // Nightmare AniMagix101 2020-02-09 | Hi guys! It seems I'm only a couple weeks late for this AMV! So I've been wanting to do a Cassandra AMV with this song pretty much since I first heard the song during Season 2. I feel it works perfectly for her, but I never really got the motivation to start it until the episode 'Cassandra's Revenge'. I began editing this quite literally immediately after that episode, but as you may tell, I'm a bit late to get it done. I saw the 'Race to the Spire' episode and luckily I wasn't dying to use any of its clips in this, but I wanted to get it finished before the episode that airs tomorrow morning, because if I really liked it and wanted to use it in this AMV, I'd probably end up waiting until the season was over and I didn't want to do that XD. So think of this as if it came out right after Cassandra's Revenge lol. Anyway, I tried out a lot of new things in this AMV and I hope they melded together at least a little bit! As always, I hope you like it! Comments really make my day! Also, I'm not a huge fan of Cassandra's character at the moment. I love that she's finally taking a stand against Rapunzel who I feel is very obliviously condescending, but I think she's milking the Gothel betrayal more than she actually cares about it. And it's getting a little close to the end for her to not be on the path to redemption yet. It took about four hours to do. Basically Tuptim wanders an old, abandoned castle and meets the charming young spirit of Aladdin, trapped inside a mirror. He hypnotizes her into killing herself in order to set him free, promising that by doing so they could be together. But instead killing herself switches their spirits, setting him free while leaving her trapped in the mirror!I wanted to add more to it, but I was running out of audio and had to cut a lot already XD So I hope it still makes sense! Aariel here!So I actually hadn't heard this song until quite recently, and it just happened to be one of the few, if not only songs that ever made me tear up the first time I listened to it. Last night I had this thought that Wendy Darling would be perfect for this song, so today I decided that I wanted to edit with it! I thought of just simply writing it down in my current list of AMVs I wanted to do, it's been a while since I actually did one, but I really had inspiration so I just wanted to get it done as quickly as possible. I was really hoping it could be longer but I only wanted the Ke$ha part and she only has the same few lines so... it's short, but I like how it turned out! I was never a humungous Peter Pan fan, but rewatching clips of the second movie made me really feel for how much growing up Wendy's had to do for her family. Ishaan suggests the group splits up, as they have a better chance of finding something that way, but Jackson Jones insists that splitting up the group is much too dangerous of a riskIshaan's mother and sister, Saanvi have recently learned of Ishaan's whereabouts, and they find it a little troubling that he won't return their calls.The next morning, Lina wakes up to find Darcy not moving. The leaders of the group say they can't waste time on her, they need to move on.Ishaan is now super terrified of dying, and Jim tries to comfort him! I don't want to go too much into description here, but lots of mixed emotions involved!As Jackson and Ishaan learn to get along a little bit more, James is only super worried that his secret might get shared...---Anyways, I hope you guys like this! Aariel!So I feel very conflicted uploading this since I haven't done my latest TDT round, but...They abolished the MxDisney Winner rule and I really was in the mood to join! I just thought the theme was really interesting sounding! I wasn't going to finish, but I was roleplaying with my sister MaskedBandit188, who didn't want to finish her audition if I wasn't going to do mine, so she kind of urged me to work on this.The story:-Ishaan Malhotra is a UC Berkeley graduate living in San Francisco with his mom. He is approaching his mid-20's. -Although he's technically a linguist, Ishaan can't speak any other languages.-Ishaan has a drinking problem and is pretty much a loser who can't hold onto a job.-His twin sister Saanvi is a doctor in the Red Cross, helping patients all over the world. It's sort of given Ishaan an insecurity complex, especially since his mother is so proud of her and disappointed in him.-His mom is tired of his laziness, and refusal to do more with his life. She gives him an ultimatum- One week to move out.-He's mainly been working in fast food since graduating. -He works with his best friend Harper at a diner, who introduces him to the Cave of Wonders Expedition.-After some deliberation about his life and situation, he decides to go for it. However, he lies about his qualifications. I had a lot of fun coming up with a unique backstory for Ishaan. I tried to differentiate it from my usual bland RP characters of the past. I was naturally drawn to the hopeless qualities of myself for his character XDDisclaimer, I don't drink and I don't know about bars or clubs so those scenes may be horrendously inaccurate, but I just wanted to portray Ishaan's lifestyle. I'm not really sure what to say about this, but here is my Round 1 for the Demigod's Trial!As you can see, it is unfinished. While I greatly appreciate Sandra's extensions, I just have too much on my plate right now, which I knew when I entered the RP- but I still decided to give it a shot!First, shout out to my fellow editors for some of these masks, namely Lamby Dance for the Amalthea masks and PaperRose for the Tobias one!Plot, Lysander, in his dream state, communicates with his cousin Electra. He tells her that Hades allowed her to join Lysander and leave the wall and meet her father Phobetor (which I didn't finish a flashback of), but she refuses as she hates her father, later threatening to kill herself.In the waking world, Lysander finds himself in a strange place surrounded by strange people. When Hades arrives and offers them a glimpse at their immortal parent, he jumps at the opportunity!Doing some of the manips in this was super fun- but spending so much time on the lighting and whatnot really cost me a lot of time. I've had some projects I've been working on, but I haven't been feeling too inspired lately.Last week, my sisters and I watched season 7 of Voltron, and I really loved it, mainly for the brief allurance moments at the end. I cannot wait for next season. After finishing the season, I really wanted to do an Allurance AMV because I love this couple SO much, and I really hope for more canon moments next season.I've noticed that, although there are lots of great Allurance edits on YouTube, there are very few compared to Klance and Lotura (which Aariel loves by the way) so I was really inspired to make a video with this couple.I just think they're so cute. But nevertheless, here is my audition!A short description:Lysander is not too popular in the Demigod's village, due to he, like his cousin Electra (Thank you MaskedBandit189 for roleplaying with me!) being Oneiroi. Oneiroi are a group of underworld gods, the most prominent being Morpheus, Phantasos, and Phobetor. His cousin Electra desperately hates her existence and wants nothing more than to leave the village.Lysander has a crush on Poseidon's daughter Andromeda, which is unfortunately a bit one-sided. Popular demigods merely like to use him for his prophecies, but Lysander dismisses it as he feels popular when people seek him out. Lysander has a vision, courtesy of his father Morpheus, that he will be chosen to go to Olympus, and for this gets a little bit cocky only to find out his prophecy was false.When Hades greets him, he realizes his prophecy indeed might be correct, just for a slightly different underworld version of it! Hope that makes sense. Because Morpheus lives in the Underworld he is technically not an Olympian god.The song is from King Fu Histle, which is the only Chinese language film I’ve ever seen but I absolutely adore it and I loved this music from it and thought it would work great!Anyways, I can't think of anything else to add at the moment. So recently my sisters and I finished the latest season of Voltron, and I knew I wanted to make an AMV with my new OTP Loturra, even though Lotor keeps on messing everything up! Call of the Hunted || Tuptim - Audition AniMagix101 2018-05-13 | Hey guys! So I know this is late, and I'm not in, whatever. But I still thought I'd upload this anyway. Today, or yesterday (it's 1am), actually the last few weeks, were incredibly busy for me, so my plan was to come home and finish this by midnight before the deadline. However, when I found out the deadline was actually in the middle of the day, I knew there was no way I was going to finish it so I kinda gave up. I was thinking about finishing this even afterwards, but I was didn't want to spend any more time on this when I wasn't even a contestant, so here is what I have!The basic story, Tuptim and Joseph are best friends who both work in a Boston based circus Radcliffe owns doing different acts. Joseph is a high wire performer, and Tuptim is part of the Freak Show. I tried to use a realistic inspiration for this, so it was loosely based off of the 'Asian Woman' freak show that was put on sometime in the 1800s, which was a while later, who was the first Chinese woman to step foot in America. However, as unlikely a story as it is here, Tuptim participates as a freak of Burma, or Myanmar as it's now called- her witchlike green eyes being a key standout for the crowd.Thank you to MaskedBandit188 for roleplaying with me!! Too bad neither of us are in.Outside of performances, Tuptim and Joseph, who are both witches, usually discuss ways to kill their ringmaster and escape their situation, but Tuptim changes her mind as her mind drifts back to her parents, whose backstory would have been revealed later. Joseph of course doesn't like that, but they are interrupted by Radcliffe, who is gathering his employees to help the Mayor find all the witches, not knowing two live among him. Thank you to hxsibuna who taught me how to use saber. I know now everyone is using it, so it's not incredibly special anymore lol, but it still looks super cool! I had some really cool ideas for the final scenes, but with finals week happening at the same time, school comes first so I basically boiled it down to what I could, Tuptim saving Joseph from Radcliffe's bullet, suspending it in midair with her magic. I was originally thinking I'd have someone knock her out and fill in the rest of the climax during the next round through a flashback, but the host already uploaded the results so it's likely not going to happen. But maybe I'll use it for my own multicrossover someday.Hope you like it. Sorry it's my second roleplay entry in a row turned in incomplete, but oh well. I should stop spending wayyy too much time on manips, I really think that's what gets me every time. But I did have well over my deadline, when everyone else had a week, it’s my own fault lol. This is my first part for TimelessTalesStudios and this MEP revolved around friends and family who were there to help and support the protagonist. I chose Megamind and Minion because, man, I don't even need to explain why! I love this movie! I love these two! Anya as an Egyptian {Racebend} ft. Joseph // MEP Part AniMagix101 2018-02-18 | Hi guys! I know this is super late, but I'm finally finished! My part for MSSProduction's racebend MEP! So this was super challenging! I did one manip for this a long time ago which you can see here:youtube.com/watch?v=qS1gyPPFAjYbut manipping that exact outfit from scratch was hard to get continuous every time, and a lot of the times the motions ended up looking very tacky, so I decided to start the whole part over and remove that manip entirely. I also had difficulty coming up with a good story. My original intention was just manips of her ruling over Egypt, but I realized without a story or a sense of direction I simply had no idea what to do. So I changed it up a bit and was then going to the story of Rameses II real life sister Princess Tia, but again- too difficult.I was trying to find good real-life Egyptian stories, and ended stumbling across this artwork:sanio.deviantart.com/art/Princess-and-a-slave-486117379by Sanio on DeviantArt. So I came up with a new story about an Egyptian Princess, who is in love with her servant (Joseph), which if you couldn't tell, I just darkened his skin a bit since he already has fuller lips and Egyptian clothing. She sneaks out to see him at night, worried about getting caught, but he ends up telling her not to worry because they love each other and that's enough, or something like that haha.If that were to happen in real life, he'd probably be killed which is why their story was a bit risky, but I like how it turned out, and I hope you do too! The Prince of Egypt - Hallelujah AniMagix101 2018-01-04 | Hi guys! It's Amber! So a very long time ago, I had this idea to make a video with the Prince of Egypt with an instrumental of Hallelujah, and I did just that. So the whole point of this planned video was a PoE voiceover/parallels tribute, similar to my Young Blood video from a long time ago, but with only one film.After an MEP part last week, I was finally in the mood and ready to start the video so I just did. Luckily, I wrote down all the voiceovers I wanted to use and parallels for them ahead of time, and to save on time, I even put them in a specific order based on theme and part of the story.I can't tell you guys how much I love this movie. I've seen it since I was a little kid, and seriously, when I saw it just a few weeks ago it made me just as emotional. My favorite character has to be Rameses, so you may notice I focused a lot on him. The thing is, he only acts on what he knows and was raised with, and throughout the whole movie, even after Moses changed sides, he still couldn't find it in him to hurt Moses because they were brothers.The movie, you guys know, is very religious, and says God a lot, and I used many of those voiceovers. Even if that isn't really your thing, I hope you enjoy the video anyway. Anyway, I really hope you guys like this!! I worked on it nonstop for a long time. The text, like always, was hard to figure out, but I tried it. Although the text was about half white and half black, the coloring was so bright I had to change a lot more of the text to black. I just really like this coloring so I couldn't change it...The thumbnail, Aariel thought of, she chose the scene and said "It's a perfect middle between his two lives; there's plenty of space for text, and it shows his princely dilemma."
