its been months... years...

This was a huge whammy of a part that I got right when I started working full time. I learned fursim from scratch throughout the process and while it doesn't look exactly how i pictured it (fur simulation is very tempremental) I'm still proud of it!!

I couldn't have gotten this part done without @HowDoUArt who provided some background asset resources that I used to create the skydome (the sky background texture) and @giingersnaps who did the rotoscoping on swift! and the rest of the server for keeping the energy!

Polygonyall 2023-06-22 | These are super rough because I had like 2 hours to do them and I'm sloppy with animatics anyways sorry. Uploading this because something something consistent uploading schedule

SO!! I'm really excited to have a part in this. My epic gamer plan is that Brightpaw and the background are 3D animation but Swiftpaw himself is rotoscoped 2D.

The timing in this is really really fast so i'm likely cutting out the first shot to mitigate it. the second one gives the full context already so its repetitive

Base Script: Swiftpaw and Brightpaw travel to different places in the territory (you can make up places not on the design sheet such as a river or meadow) trying to find a cure for the zombie infection. Swiftpaw is kind of just dragging Bright around and trying different things on her (such as herbs or other things, get really creative!) she is oblivious and kinda just goes with it giving little or no reaction. Swiftpaw seems frustrated. Part 10 includes a storyboarded piece at the end where Swiftpaw slumps onto the ground in frustration.

My creative freedom script: Swiftpaw attempts to replicate Brightpaw's apprentice ceremony with Mud statues posing as the other Thunderclan cats. He appoints mud statue Whitestorm as her mentor. Mud statue Whitestorm quickly falls apart, freaking out Brightpaw who violently bats at it.

Longtail fur simulation Turnaround WIP (Warrior Cats)

Polygonyall 2023-04-22 | Been learning fursim by myself over the past week or so and decided to start a project modelling, rigging and hair simulating a character to use in a fake MAP part animation (Not a fake Mr. Fear part but another song)

Not entirely satisfied with the current groom so Its probably gonna look wayyy different when its done I"m just happy with my current progress (and want to shoot for weekly uploads oops)

Halloween Ends slice of life my absolute beloved my best friend. My part is in the Autumn section but is the last Autumn part so I decided to make the last shot more transitional into winter. Like a halfway point.

Playing Cookie Run back from 2017-2019 and then seeing all of these new characters was a trip dare I say. A semi-obscure in the west game became such a juggernaut so fast, I couldn't believe when I was at a Con and I saw a major voice actor's banner showing their roles and one of the main ones was a Cookie Run character. that's unbelievable to me but it was such a fun game and I'm glad to have participated in this MAP (sorry for rambling lol)

Aisha 3D Sculpting, Texturing, Rigging and Animation Process

Welcome to my full 3D process (I’ll make a separate video for nonpainted eyes!)
I decided to model a really iconic and accessible neopet for people who aren’t familiar to neopets. Despite its blobby anatomy the aisha is very appealing and fun to model rig and animated (except for the legs! Those legs… are going to heck.

Something I forgot to mention is that before rendering I sculpted a collar that I then parented to the neck joint so it would move with the chest and neck! Forgot to mention that

Some notes
- I use maya, Zbrush, substance painter, adobe after effects, photoshop and (sometimes medibang)
- The main purpose of filling in before substance with medibang is that I don’t have to colour the inside of the mouth in substance which is a pain
- Blender is an amazing free alternative to maya if you are not an animation student with the license! Its completely different but its open source and super innovative!
- Blend shapes are where you can keyframe a specific pose or expression to move to later. So for example, a neutral face would be a blendshape and so would a frown. This can be used for a lot of facial expressions or even lip sync.
- By doing this you can use a set driven key to pin the different blendshapes to a control, like I did with the mouth
- I am a complete beginner at zbrush, I picked it up only two weeks ago so if you see me doing something dumb, please no judgey

Sols Exile Part 12 (3D warrior cats) + Process

Decided to add some behind the scene content! Hopefully it gives some insight into the animation process

Little tidbits I didn't add
- Sol and leafstar are individual models, while the kits have the same model with modifications
- I used a color corrector because the render was very saturated
- The kits models are extremely glitchy for some reason
- This took 4 hours to render

I'm still super inexperienced with maya but this was really fun for me to make even tho i've never animated a fight scene in my life!!!

This took like 3-4 days of constant work to put together and im really proud of it and my growth as a 3D animator
