I think we did an awesome job!This was originally a series of short stories I wrote for class. After growing attached to the characters, I teamed up with two of my friends from Welcome to Dreamworld to bring the story to life! We launched a Kickstarter to raise the funds we’d need for the animation, hoping to earn minimum wage, and it completely flopped. Thus, we created a second Kickstarter to raise money for the audio instead, hoping to pay ourselves for the animation with any additional funds we made later. As soon as we secured funding, we picked up a few fellow art students to help with the animation, and we were off! The entire pilot was created in the span of roughly 3 months. This was because we could only afford to work on the project over summer break, since the majority of the team (including me) are students who needed to go back to school at the end of summer.If anything, this pilot is a labor of love. I am incredibly proud of the team behind this project.
