Crimson Planet (Extreme Demon) by TrueOmega and more | Geometry Dash Technical 2022-05-16 | This feels absolutely incredible. Over 2 years since I beat my last top 20, I finally return and beat another one, and I hope it won't be the last :)This level was a surprise, honestly. I originally wanted to beat it as a surprise and upload it here with no warning, but I went back on that plan. I expect to hate it a lot, but it really wasn't that awful. Not fun, just not anything especially bad.I will give this level credit for a couple things. For one, the ending isn't extremely difficult like a lot of short extreme demons, so no mental blocks existed once I got into the 70s. Second, I actually found this level to flow decently even if a few sections are unbearable and feel like they don't work.And that's the biggest issue with this level. So many things can go wrong that feel out of your control. The part this happens most often at is the wave at 57%. It's unbelievable how frustrating this one single, short part was and how much it hindered my progress. I could say the same about the wave at 30%, but at least I ended up being super consistent with that one.Overall, not as bad of a level as I had expected. It was incredibly frustrating and had a lot of dumb elements, but I've definitely played worse. Triadic Trials Verified (Extreme Demon) by Hero3210 | Geometry Dash Technical 2022-09-05 | A bit under a month ago, Hero sent me a full showcase of this level asking if I'd like to verify it. While it looked a little out of my comfort zone, I thought it was super cool and decided to accept it, and I'm really happy I did that.I was correct in saying this level was out of my comfort zone, but that really didn't affect my enjoyment at all. This level was very fun every time I played it. All of the gameplay is extremely satisfying and super rewarding, especially the section starting at 52%. Every part gets VERY consistent after doing it just a couple of times. It's one of those levels where once a part clicks, it never goes away.I guess the only things I didn't completely enjoy were the first and last parts of the level. Untitled (Extreme Demon) by iiLuna and more | Geometry Dash Technical 2022-07-26 | Very fun and satisfying level to complete. Most of you probably know how much I like fast-paced and/or click-sync-based levels, and this is no exception at all.This level syncs incredibly well in pretty much every single part. Lots of levels that attempt click sync fall flat and it makes them incredibly annoying as a result, but this level succeeds, which is great. I guess my only complaint would be some of the balancing being a bit weird, like the waves at 35% and 72%. Perhaps it's a result of me simply not getting a consistent click pattern with them and that I always lagged at the 72% wave, but they still felt way harder than everything else to me.It is also worth mentioning that the dual at 29% simply does not function at random times. It's around 90% consistent on 240fps, but on 360fps it was only like 50% consistent. No matter what, that number should be 100%.Overall, a very satisfying click-sync level with a couple of wave parts and a dual that bring it down. Also, this level is pretty unoptimized in the second half of the level. Doradura (Extreme Demon) by Ivashka | Geometry Dash Technical 2022-07-21 | I heard about this level for the first time recently and wanted to give it a shot since I've been on an easy extreme demon kick as of late.I ended up finding this super fun! The gameplay is satisfying and syncs well with the music, which is definitely something I enjoy a lot. The level flows really nicely, too, which is something I really appreciate.That being said, there are a couple of glaring issues with it. One is that there are a few singular clicks in the level that are much more difficult than they should be, most notably the first ball click at 30%. Other clicks simply don't work from time to time, like the ship at 38%. You can die to the top or bottom spike randomly and you have little control over it. Even despite the few issues I had with the gameplay, I want to commend the decoration. This is one of the best-looking extreme demons in the game to me. Sorry about that.With the third level in the storm series (Tornado) being finished, I figured now was the perfect time to finally play this level. I am incredibly glad I did.This level really didn't disappoint. It was fun to learn, practice, and beat, unlike many levels. I honestly expected learning this to be a chore for me, but it wasn't at all. All of the gameplay is super satisfying to do, especially with its fast-paced nature. I even enjoyed Sequex's part despite it being the hardest in the level by far. Not to mention the decoration of this level is incredible. I love how the darker parts are, for the most part, coupled with the slower and more tame parts of the music.The one single part I disliked is the second one (Chase + Manix). Learning it was fine, but it was the only part I could never stay consistent with after learning it. The way everything rotates in is cool, but it overall felt kind of awkward. Not much else to say. An extremely fun level that also looks amazing. Lucid Chaos (Extreme Demon) by CairoX and more | Geometry Dash Technical 2022-07-04 | Solely because of my experience with Lucid Nightmares and despite others telling me good things about this level, I went into it with really low expectations. Surprisingly enough, I enjoyed it quite a lot!Most of the gameplay is very fluid and satisfying and there's very little that feels out of your control. I specifically want to highlight the gameplay for Dorami's decoration part, as it was genuinely one of the most fun megacollab parts I've ever played.My main complaints with this level are the awkwardness of the last 20% of the level (especially the wave-to-ship transition at 97%) and a couple of parts of the dual at the drop. There were a few clicks in that dual that felt extremely unfair, specifically the one block space after the first dash orb and the first two clicks in the ball dual. I found a consistent way to pass the latter of those two, but the former never got consistent, unfortunately.It's also worth mentioning that although I found a consistent click pattern for it, the wave at 64% was by FAR the most difficult part of the level and it took me a really long time to get fully used to it. As I said, it does get consistent after a bit, so it isn't that big of a deal.Not much else to say. Fun level with just a few minor annoyances. I Beat Every Gauntlet in One Sitting (2.11) | Geometry Dash Technical 2022-06-30 | With all of the latest 2.2 leaks and previews coming up as of late, there is that very small chance the update could be coming sooner than we realize. One new thing coming to 2.2 is an influx of Gauntlets, which is why I decided to revisit them all and try to beat them all in a row without stopping.This actually would not have been too tiring had it not been for the final 3 or 4 gauntlets. Those took the longest to relearn by far and a few of the levels felt like torture. AfterCataBath (Extreme Demon) by GBoy, Riot, Exenity, and more | Geometry Dash Technical 2022-06-17 | I played this a lot in 2020 and dropped it after getting 84% out of frustration. I picked it up again today and decided to verify my own version with the new Cataclysm replacing the old version. I ended up beating it my first time passing Bloodbath LOLTo be honest, this is a really annoying thing to do. Bloodbath is the only level in the trilogy I enjoy, so having to start from Cataclysm and end with Aftermath sucks a lot. Knowing I had to beat Bloodbath and Aftermath after already beating Cataclysm constantly demotivated me to continue.Beating this feels super good, though. 3 historic levels combined to fill the entirety of At the Speed of Light. Verdant Landscape (Extreme Demon) by Nisha | Geometry Dash Technical 2022-06-14 | I started playing this level on May 19th. 26 days and a ton of bad luck later, and I finally have it under my belt. I truly didn't expect the true atrocity that was the experience I had playing this. Not saying the level is bad (more on that later), but my luck was horrible and every session felt completely different. Numerous deaths in the 80s, 2 deaths at 94%, and 1 death at 97%... I was in such a rough spot mentally. With the help of my Twitch chat, however, I was able to pull through after another hard session.Even despite this experience being one of the worst I've ever had, this is, without a doubt, my new favorite extreme demon in the game. This might be one of the first extreme demons where every single death feels like your fault, and more levels need to strive to achieve that. The only part I disliked was the dual ship at 37%, but I can't even blame the level for that. This game treats dual ship differently from single ship for some reason and it makes it significantly more awkward. To make a level of this difficulty so enjoyable and fair is a feat that I think is currently unmatched. On top of the amazing gameplay, the decoration resembles that of a level from 1.9 and 2.1 at the same time, and it does it in such an incredible way. Nisha truly made one of the best levels the game will ever see.To round things out, I love this level so much, but I am so glad I can finally move on to other levels. Dimension Breaker (Extreme Demon) by Bianox and more | Geometry Dash Technical 2022-06-10 | I had attempted to learn and beat this level 3 times before this. Every single time I gave up while learning because I wanted to do something else not because I disliked the level at the time, but just because I didn't really feel like finishing it. Fast forward to now, and I finally grinded it and got it out of the way as a side-project while I finish up Verdant Landscape.At first, I was really enjoying it. It was fun and satisfying, and nothing seemed all that bad. As time went on however, this all changed drastically.While I don't really hate the level, I felt as if it didn't even function properly in so many spots. For example, the red orb into gravity switch at 58% would randomly hit the tiny block next to it and kill you and it felt completely uncontrollable. Not to mention the many gameplay elements that feel completely different every single attempt, forcing you to unnecessarily improvise. The entirety of 78-87% is the greatest example of this.There are some parts I still found fun regardless. Pretty much everything from 0-45% was very enjoyable despite becoming tedious due to my awful luck. The part after was also pretty fun, but the dual at 50% just did not work a few times.To sum my thoughts up, the first half is fun and the second half is not. Azurite (Extreme Demon) by Sillow | Geometry Dash Technical 2022-05-11 | I decided to de-rust a bit before I made my streaming return, so I picked up this level with the intention to get back in the groove of playing an extreme demon again, and it ended up being perfectly suited for that.This level ended up being pretty fun, which I'm happy about. I was hoping I wouldn't return to a level I ended up disliking. The gameplay flows nicely for the most part and there weren't any major chokepoints with the exception of 70-74% which felt very awkward. I found myself dying there a lot of the time even after making adjustments. Also, most of the level's difficulty falls between 43% and 87%. The first 40% is legitimately hard demon gameplay.Unfortunately, it's quite difficult for me to comment on the quality of a level I beat this quickly, so I don't have much else to say on this level. Revisiting: A Bizarre Phantasm by TeamN2 | Geometry Dash Technical 2022-02-27 | This, unfortunately, wasn't as fun to come back to as I expected.The issue with ABP is that you can get to the 30s and 40s on like 90% of your attempts, and it makes it really boring to play if you've already beaten the level. Rainbow Road (200cc) - 1:31.990 | Former World Record | Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Technical 2022-01-19 | July 8th, 2020. That was the day I began playing Rainbow Road. My first ever PB on the track was a 1:38.781. Fast forward 1 year, 6 months, and 10 days (559 days), and my journey is finally complete.I started this track just with the intention of beating a friend’s time, which was 1:35 at the time. Later during my playtime, I increased my goal to American Top 10, 1:33, Worldwide Top 10, American Record, and finally World Record, which I ended up getting with a 1:33.067 on July 31st, 2020. I then set my goal to the inevitable 1:32, which I did end up getting a few weeks later, but I was beaten to being the first to achieve it by Panda.Over the next two months, I traded hands with Panda, with him bringing the record down to a 1:32.6. Ultimately, I ended up taking it a third time and have kept it since (October 26th, 2020). From then on, I embarked on a journey to take the record down as far as I possibly could.Even with new strats being found along the way, I never once expected another 1 second sub to be possible, but I kept at it, and eventually I proved it to be humanly possible in July 2021 after getting a 1:32.290 with 0/3 fast gliders (every successful fast glider saves .1). From there, I grinded the track on and off to see if I really had what it took to get a 1:31, and lone behold, I did.I don’t have the will to analyze this run. All I can really say is that I am beyond overjoyed about it. I had only started playing 10 minutes prior to setting this run.I want to thank every single person that supported me in the year and a half that I’ve been playing this track. Kuzureta (Extreme Demon) by Teno and more | Geometry Dash Technical 2022-01-05 | Going into this level, the main reason I wanted to beat it was the music. Normally, most people have awful experiences with levels they beat for the song and they end up hating the level, so I went in with a clear head. I am SO glad I did that.I had a blast with this level from day 1. Everything is incredibly fun and rewarding to learn and complete. The level isn't even boring when playing from the beginning even though it starts slow, which a lot of levels can't say. Kuzureta gets to the faster parts in a way that doesn't completely throw you off, and I love that.My only complaints about the level are the waves at 38% and 51%. Those were the only two tiny bits I could never fully get used to. Revisiting: Artificial Ascent by Viprin and more | Geometry Dash Technical 2021-12-31 | It was only a matter of time until I played this again.From the moment I first beat it in 2018, Artificial Ascent has been one of my favorite levels ever. What do people do when they enjoy playing something? They keep playing it, and that's exactly what I've done over the last couple of years.Even though a lot of it was specifically for an event, I randomly got good enough at this level to beat it practically whenever I want to. New Record (Extreme Demon) by Temp and more | Geometry Dash Technical 2021-12-29 | First extreme demon since May... lol.I'd always looked forward to this level's release. I kept up with it's progress for a while, especially after that "highscore w/clicks" video showed up in my recommended SO MANY TIMES over a course of 18 months. It looked like an insanely fun layout, anyway, so I didn't care much.As I was gaining motivation to play GD again, I heard about the official release of this level, and I was REALLY excited to play it! Unfortunately, I was a little let down by it.Now don't get me wrong, this level is great, and I did have quite a bit of fun with it! The amount of sync in the level is BEYOND satisfying and it's very fun going through everything in the level! That being said, there are a few really awkward parts in this level, specifically the two spider duals and the wave dual at 63%. Future Circles (Insane Demon) by Keias | Geometry Dash Technical 2021-08-02 | Well, this was intended to be a Revisiting video, but I beat the level so fast on stream that there was next to no content for a fully edited video, so I figured I'd just upload this.I was one of the first players to beat this on mobile, and it was one of the hardest beaten on the phone at the time. It's kind of where my skill began taking off, and where I realized I could beat harder levels than I thought.I've always enjoyed this level, but only because it's incredibly satisfying to play. It's, unfortunately, just like a standard Nine Circles level. The constant gravity switches in the middle of the drop make it a pain to learn. Thankfully, you can use muscle memory to your advantage very well and be just fine. Sonic Wave Rebirth (Extreme Demon) by Serponge and FunnyGame | Geometry Dash Technical 2021-05-10 | About time I beat another extreme demon.I don't have much to say about this one, as it's literally just redecorated Sonic Wave. I will say the effects really held up (at least in the waves and third cube); they look pretty good even by today's standards.The gameplay is weird to me. It does and doesn't feel the same as Sonic Wave both at the same time, and I can't really figure out why. Some click patterns needed to be slightly adjusted so it felt different, but even after doing that, I still felt like I was just playing Sonic Wave.I'm not sure. Torsion (Extreme Demon) by Raivolt | Geometry Dash Technical 2021-02-26 | Throwing it back (kind of) with just a simple Extreme Demon video.This is a more unknown level, and that makes me really sad because this level is honestly great! The gameplay is fun and enjoyable (and VERY satisfying) and the decoration looks really good despite the style it's in. It does get a bit repetitive, however.My biggest gripe with the gameplay here is how you can't see a lot of the timings due to how much the spikes and structures blend in with the level, especially in the middle. Cybernetic Crescent VERIFIED (Extreme Demon) by Viprin and more | Geometry Dash Technical 2021-01-08 | Ahhh finally. This was a long time coming.I'm really glad I was able to find the motivation to start and finish this level. Thankfully, my motivation to play GD has kind of been increasing over the last few days, which probably explains my spike in consistency with this level.Oh, the level. It's really, REALLY fun. I don't really have any issues with any of the parts in the level. They're all incredible. I think my favorites are Devon, Terron, and Shocksidian, but all of them are super fun. There are some awkward things, however, such as the wave-to-cube transitions in Rustam and the double/triple clicks in Galvatron, but they're easy to get used to and they feel sort of second nature, which is nice.I want to thank @Viprin for giving me the opportunity to verify such a level. It really is an honor being given the ability to verify the sequel to two of the most influential levels of all time, as well as a level that's as good as this.Lastly, I want to thank you guys for sticking with me through my demotivation and my inactivity. I'm not really sure how I still pushed through and finished this, but I did, and now we're here.
