Not sure what kind of shady operation turns nuclear waste into classified biohazard but they pay "do-not-ask amount" of money for hauling it.The military base is much higher up than the harbor, which means you can haul stuff to the harbor mostly for free. As soon as the train starts accelerating on the first downhill section you can turn off the engine. There's a tiny segment in the middle where you might want to turn on the engine again or you'll be cruising with 20 km/h for a long time. This is probably the best paying job you can do. You can easily take all biohazard jobs at once with the shunter, since they're very light weight (only 19 tons per car).Note: Starting the engine causes 75.00$ damage (1 unit). Don't turn it off unless it's for a very long stretch of track you're familiar with. You will not be able to release the train brake either. Setup for an automatic transfer switch radio4active 2020-12-08 | Disclaimer: Improper wiring in these panels can damage devices, create a fire hazard, and provide means to electrocute people. These faults might not appear during initial testing and might only happen under load. The panel shown in this video is intended for portable, short term use and does not serves as a replacement for your main circuit breaker panel. For permanent use, you should install the transfer switch directly in your main breaker panel, and then have it inspected by a certified electrician before using it. Or more ideally, have it installed by the electrician itself.They're going to cut off power for extended periods during two days. I built this panel as a means to automatically switch between generator power and grid power.Construction is as follows:The top left contains a 63 amp breaker for the grid power (Model: TOMZN TOB15-63 WIFI). You can configure when to shut off during over- and undervoltage event and how long to stay off until the switch is re-engaged (provided the voltage has stabilized again). This prevents the system from constantly switching between grid and generator if the grid power fluctuates. You can also set a lower amperage limit than 63, which makes this an adjustable breaker too. It's also Wifi connected, so you can turn the grid power off and on with your smartphone. Connecting to Wifi is optional. The voltage and current cutout can be configured locally with the switches only and not via network.Note that even though this breaker has two poles (for phase and neutral) it is not an RCBO, just a breaker.The top right is the automatic transfer switch with full isolation, capable of handling up to 100 amps (Model: TOMZN TOQ5-100/2). It switches all connections (including neutral) and not just the phase, preventing any chance of backfeeding into the grid from the generator. This is the single phase version but a three phase (with and without neutral) exists too. The switch in its default configuration prefers grid power whenever available, meaning it only switches to generator if grid power is lost and generator power is available. Switching action is almost instantly and fast enough for your average consumer devices (TV, Computer, etc) to not shut off. A small override switch is available so you can manually turn the red handle to the chosen position, which is useful during generator load testing. This switch has multiple terminals for the grid and generator side. By default you hook them up to their respective 230V phase and neutral to make the switch change the source automatically, but you can also hook them up differently if you prefer a different switching behavior. Each side also has a relay with NO/NC contacts so you can hook up any kind of logic to it, for example to send connected devices into power saving mode if they run on generator. The relay is isolated from mains. A slow acting transfer swtich is available as model TOQ3-63.The bottom left is the generator input. It consists of a simple switch and a 10 amp breaker. The breaker is technically not necessary since the generator has its own breaker, but I don't trust these flimsy buttons. The power switch can be used to more comfortably hook up the generator. Meaning you can start the generator with the panel plugged in, then after it has warmed up, you can just use the switch instead of having to go outside again and having to plug stuff in.The bottom right is the output section. It consists of a Swiss outlet (guess the country I'm in) and a 10 amp RCBO. An RCBO is a combination of a fault interrupter (power returns on the ground instead of neutral) and a circuit breaker (device consumes too much power). Circuits in Switzerland are generally already protected by RCD, but the generator is usually not, so it made sense to get this type of switch instead.The grounding is connected between both inputs and the output at all times.Total cost of this was about 200 USD.

This is the reverse of the classified material run: youtube.com/watch?v=hChRSEZwvhYIt's rare that you get to haul that much, usually it's around 400-500 tons. I almost get the loco to overheat and it's running at full throttle for most part of the run. While the shunter is easy to get the wheels slipping, with this one, you're pretty much safe unless you push the throttle beyond the last indent to the very end. Just keep it below 90 on the rpm gauge. Operating a train this way is also the most fuel efficient. You either want it idling or hauling as hard as possible.Nuclear waste pays well but it's not a lot better than the classified materials considering how heavy it is (87 tons per car). They don't give you more time uphill either. 38 minutes it is. Maintenance cost is also very high. Fixed the FM tuner and the tape deck radio4active 2020-03-28 | Turns out both voltage regulators (AN7812F) were broken. Not sure why there are separate ones. Both are 12V and 1 amp each but the radio tuner and tape deck combined use less than one amp and could totally be connected to the same regulator.The tuner is connected to a standard TV outlet. Not sure if this is an European thing or is done worldwide, but there are many FM channels on the cable you can listen to, much more than over the air.The input level slider has become overly sensitive over the years it seems.The tuner and tape deck are connected via some proprietary connector but it's rather simple. The tuner for example has 5 pins. Two for power (12V and ground) and three for left, right, and audio ground (this is isolated from the power ground). Same goes for the tape deck but the connector has more audio pins (for recording and playback). There is no control data flowing at all, this is purely analog.I'm usually not a fan of this proprietary stuff but in this case it means that you only need one power plug for three devices which is kinda neat.To do:- replace broken needle on turntable player (already ordered)- find replacement belt for the CD player (mine are all too big)

Since it was night I did not run the generator but used a variac instead for demonstration.The ampere-meter barely lifts because the light doesn't consumes a lot of power. We have 230 Volts in Europe instead of 110V in the US, so our Amperage requirements are basically halved.For this demonstration I bridged the switch output with the left side, which normally would show the readings from my UPS (Uninterruptible power supply). This was done with a normal extension cord (not shown).The LEDs next to the switch are not connected yet but will show which source is available and which has been selected.usually between the switch output and the left dials there would be an UPS.The 3 sockets shown on the board are not affected by the switch setting. This allows you to plug in devices directly to the grid side of the board that you do not wish to run from UPS or generator, for example an A/C.In case you were wondering, the plug system is from Switzerland.

It does not even needs power on its own to operate the coin mechanism, it works completely on the weight of the 20 cent pieces you insert.I use it as a cost control mechanism for my dogecoin miners. At the same time, it also serves as a timer, so I can start the miners in the morning with the appropriate number of coins inserted and it will shut itself off in the evening so it won't annoy other tenants if they try to sleep.

This is not upscaled from a video file, it was recorded again by myself as I have a copy of the ROM file.1080p output in a SNES emulator with 60 FPS needs quite performance, especially if you record it at the same time. This makes the Emulator being slower than it should be and the song is too fast. Since the lag is not linear, you cannot stretch the song linear, so you need to extract the audio channel from the video, add the song and then stretch it where needed. This is quite time consuming. The time difference without adjusting the music would be about 5 seconds.There was no video post processing involved.Early at the beginning of the video, there are two places where sometimes you die. Connect the second disk after you installed windows or the 100 MB boot partition will land on the second disk.2. The secondary disk needs to be at least the size of the windows partition. (It can be bigger)3. Every Computer can boot from dynamic disks but not every OS understands them.4. You cannot mirror the 100 MB boot partition.5. if you order two disks at the same time, they usually have adjacent serial numbers. If one disk has a production error, it is likely for the second to have an error too.6. Make note on what is the first and what is the second disk if you ever need to replace one.7. Only the mirror raid creates redundancy, the striped raid just increases your partition size.8. This works with SSD as well.9. This works on existing windows installations. no need to reinstall.10. The raspberry can be remote controlled with a website, that is hosted on it.You can:- reset the player to its default stream- change volume- skip tracks of a playlist- load custom streams/media/playlists- gracefully shutdown and reboot the system- password protect the web directory with htaccess.- view debug information, such as stream information and running processes with vlc automatically being highlighted.This thing was initially developed to play russkoe radio through the tube radio, but was soon developed to a community driven radio station, so basically everybody at my workplace can change the stream and adjust the volume, for example if he is on the phone.Total cost of this project is about 100$
