PGH LiveJamz
Hey Folks, hope all is well. Quick little ditty that sounds like a million other tunes out there but had a cool groove so I went with it. Started with a LogicX bass loop that I added some rhythm guitar and keys and stuff to. Hope you enjoy.

This one features Scottie Lawnchair on the Drums and harmonica and Johnny Lager on Lead Vocals and Rhythm guitar in a tune that he wrote that is one our older originals. Hope you all enjoy it. Similar situation with the audio, just from the handcam video but decent enough quality we can share it.

Tone: This one is Classic Rock Hall (logic) coming through the lovely tele I got from Rick Romanelli. Love it!. Acoustic was my custom one I had made for me.
This ones for you Katara, miss you girl.
As far as Tone goes...
Rick was rocking DI with the "Brit and Clean" Logic plugin.
Skip was rocking DI with the "Crunchy Citrus" plugin through GuitarRig.

Today's backer is a super simple loop that is basically just two chords (F#Major and G#Minor) that has a groove that to me is somewhat reminiscent of a tune by a Pittsburgh Guitar legend, George Benson with his tune Breezin', in listening to it after recording it. I hadn't intended for it to come across as this and this isn't exactly the same chord setup, but Rick pulled out some licks that fit across it all that were very similar to what layers on top of that old tune my Dad used to play all the time. Tone and Tools and Stuffs:
Guitar was handled with the PartsCaster that Mr. Rick Romanelli built for me, it's now my favorite electric guitar. Tone was Wooly Octave for the Rhythm guitar. All other instruments were played on my new Korg i3 (keys, bass, synths, strings, etc...). It has some pretty nice instruments built into it, particularly lovin the wah trumpet that features at the end of this one.

We had a low key setup, no PA's/Monitors/Speakers, and Scottie Lawnchair rocked the Djembe instead of the kit for the rhythm section. Skippy D was plugged in to the Fender Champ 40 but the audio is just ambient under the iPhone. Actually doesn't sound that bad but I am probably a little hotter than I needed to be with the leads with some of the pedals but who cares I am still a rank amateur at most of this stuff.

Video quality is not great, tried out the new zoom q8 but the zoom doesn't seem as good as the old iPhone so next time I will probably go back to the iPhone for longer distance shots. Or try to relocate the camera somewhere closer. Audio is crystal though, was a hot signal but it came across with little peaking out so it should sound great. Many thanks to Mike and Melissa Sheptak at Feel Good Farms for making the nite possible, was a great time for all.
I will be posting some live music over the next month or so. Had an opportunity to meet Cabinet, a seriously tight unit from Pennsylvania that I had an opportunity to see play recently over at Feel Good Farms a week or so ago. The house was rocking and as soon as I hear back on the set list (forgot to ask that night, Cabinet folks!!! If you see this can you provide if you have a copy still?) I plan on starting to break down the video. You won't want to miss these folks so check back often to see what I have cooking.
Peace. Hug you neighbor, they probably need it right now.

This one is kinda rocking, not gonna lie. Makes me want to shake a groove, hope you guys dig it I had a ton of fun playing this one and am currently cooking up some words to it so it can eventually make a DoobJoob appearance, we'll see where she goes. Hope you all enjoy, if you do leave a comment. Peace! Oh and uh, smash that like button and tell all your friends with a share or something.

This one will have an accompanying Sunday Live Jamz With Rick Romanelli once I find some time to get a nice run for my set of takes for this one (we are doing this one a little different than we normally do), hopefully soon!

This one is the Willie Dixon standard, Wang Dang Doogle (alll in G, nothing more).... Many thanks to Rick Romanelli for making it available, he pulled it from an old cassette of one of our live shows from back in the day. Hopefully there is more to come....
Playing on this one I think is the original Crazy Fingers Band, your truly PGH LiveJamz doing rhythm guitar and lead vocals, Rick Romanelli on lead guitar and suppporting vocals, and Scott Scassa on Bass (how are ya Scott?) and backing vocals as well. Thanks for Rick to mentioning, drums on this one was Ray Jones, who was a member of Crazy Fingers Band for a very short time back in the day.
Hope you enjoy and. hope to see you soon. Hoping to get back moving with Doob Joob activities soon here as well. I think we are on the cusp of something...

Hope you enjoy it. I am hoping to fold this track into the Doobie Jubilee playlist as we move forward this year. A note on the video/final song, some folks might notice some cuts in the video, there were two 12 bar segments (takes 4 and 7) that I removed from the finished product that were kind of redundant from a riggage perspective that made the final song a bit on the long side (7+ minutes) so I removed them for brevity.
Folks, final word. if you are not familiar with what is happening in Canada and Australia right now you should be. Use DuckDuckGo and see what is really going on in the world instead of those other popular search engines. Humanity is being repressed on a global scale and no one even knows about it due to media control but it's headed everyones way so the world needs to wake up FAST. Inform yourself, educate friends and family and start building networks to stay safe. Peace!!!

This one is very simple, just two chords, D Minor and G. you can even switch it up and play an E minor instead of the G there to give it a different feel some of the time. I am not sure but folks more knowledgeable than Old Uncle LiveJamz might say this is maybe an A Minor mixolidian or something, I can't really say much about that. So, we'll just call it D minor and someone who knows something about music can chime in on that (you know who you are hahah)....

Hey Folks, welcome back to the channel. I hope you enjoy today's video segment, it is a new song that sort of sprang to life out of nowhere. This new tune was something I was just starting on (only had rhythm guitar recorded) on the day we had our last Sunday Live Jamz session (which was impromptu as always) and have since added some lyrics/vocals, bass, violin and such to round it all out.I plan on also releasing the actual recording of us playing as a separate Sunday Live Jams segment (February, if the world doesn't spin off it's axis prior) without the vocals so everyone can see how it all started and get a sense on how it all developed into this, a sort of 'Making Of' type of video I guess you could say.
At any rate, I hope you enjoy this video. The music is all me and Rick but the video content is from many talented artist that make their work available to folks like me via sites like Pexels and PixaBay. I have included works in this video from artists including but not limited to those seen below. Please check out their work sometime they are all talented folks and videos like this one would not be possible without their efforts, so many thanks to all those listed and even those unlisted due to space and a lack of carefulness when saving off attributions (it happens, so boiler plate disclaimer, if you were missed let me know and I will take care of it. ):
Yaroslav Shuraev
Taryn Elliott
Andre Furtado

Kelly Lacy
Mart production
Mikhail Nilov
Vlada Karpovich
I hope to fold this tune into the Doobie Jubilee playlist for the future.
Gear used on this one:
PGH LiveJamz - Harley Benton HB35 - 335 Model going direct with no real patch until the later parts of the song.
Rick Romanelli - PRS SE SingleCut - tone via Two Notes Torpedo pedal.
------
A final note on this tune. This song is inspired by the love of my life, Mrs. LifeJamz. She is the kindest, most generous person I have ever met in my life and is generally the inspiration for all I do in my life. I am blessed to have her in my life and this song attempts to paint the picture of how important she is to my life. This song is also intended to paint that picture for you and your loved ones, whether your partner in life or partner in crime, whether best friend or family member that keeps you whole. Nuff bout that. Peace All.
This one was a fun little loop, we'll see if anything develops from it in the future. It's a little closer to the kind of stuff my dad (yours as well probably) listens to so probably not but hey it was fun right.
If you enjoy this segment, can I ask that you share it with someone you think might also enjoy it? Trying to drive some subs to the channel in 2022 if I can so any help is appreciated.
Note on tone: Rick was playing his tele through the Boss katana 100, I went direct and am using the Cool Jazz Patch on this one.
