Using something like a Syntakt or Digitakt with ANY synth allows for this possibility. You get to use your already setup audio interface, PLUS the audio inputs from your Digitakt or Syntakt! so if you have a 4 channel interface you now have a 6 channel! +2 to any setup basically.With this setup comes weird things though like dealing with Latency.
