blue asianUltimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses. Every time you beat a boss, you get 2 SP Capsules making this a great way of maxing out your growth maps. For Part 1 bosses, I won't really be writing much and will not be showing my equipment as they are mostly trivial but for Part 2 bosses, I will be showing them after beating them. Battle music is set to random so you may hear Final Fantasy music on bosses that allow them.
Now onto the last part of the final boss who is very long and has 2 distinct phases: the first main phase which takes up the majority of the fight where he cycles through certain periods of attacks and the second shorter damage check phase.
For the 1st phase, Jas will do a cycle of attacks. He always does 2 actions if he isn't in a specific period which is either hitting a party member with an elemental spell (high damage) or casting Calamity which debuffs your ATK, DEF, and SPD. This will be what he does during his "filler" period in his cycle.
To signal his next attack and period in his cycle, Big Bang, he will cast Retribution on a single party member which gives Seal, Poison and Curse so you wanna be protected for that. During this time, you wanna prep up as much as possible before Big Bang occurs by buffing your party whether its from using Tan for Mystery Potion to Desperation, charging Cheryl or Prickle or just speeding up the rest of your party and debuffing Jas. Just before Big Bang hits, you want to bring out your guard party to tank it.
After Big Bang, he will either summon White Hole (1st time), Black Hole (2nd time), or both (3rd time and later). He will then continue using his "filler" period attacks for a turn afterwards. White Hole (absorbs Light, weak to Dark) summons adds and you can take care of them if needed as a few adds can remove your buffs which is annoying. Its not needed though but you should put some damage at least as you will see in the next period of the cycle. Black Hole though is much more dangerous as it will act immediately after the next turn and will absorb a random party member. For Black Hole, you wanna prepare either Zinikr with Charges (unlikely as he was just guarding) or Tan with Mystery Potion and Desperation who will either do a lot of damage to it or 1 shot it with a critical. Then you can finish it off with Kina or Leo to bust out the party member. The Black Hole should be your main priority when both it and the White Hole are summoned.
After that, he will signal the last period of the cycle by casting Super Buff which buffs his ATK and DEF. He will also summon 12 elemental stones (9 will always be one element) while preparing his charged attack, Supernova. You wanna immediately dispel his Super Buff with Cheryl or Valrika. Then you want a fully buffed in ATK + Charged character to get rid of the 9 of the 12 elemental stones with their Tension skill depending on what is out (eg. if there are more Earth elemental stones, you wanna bring out Prickle for his Lightning Tension skill which I messed up here by not pre-charging). This is also why I said to not worry about the White Hole as much, the Tension skill should do enough damage to finish it off. If you aren't able to destroy the elemental stones with the most elements, you will wanna destroy as much as possible or you will need to have someone with Cat's Eye to hopefully survive the Supernova as it will absorb all the elemental stones and enemies left from the White Hole with the amount absorbed dictating its damage multiplier. You will want your guard party to tank it and hopefully you only have 3 elemental stones up so it only gets a 1.9x damage multiplier. Jas will then return to the beginning of the cycle and repeat it, the only thing changing is what hole(s) he summons. This continues until you get him to low enough HP (70k in NG, unsure on NG++ but ~150k I'm guessing).
Once at low enough HP, Jas will signify a countdown with Beginning of the End which is the shorter damage check phase. The plus side is that any holes, elemental stones and adds will immediately be killed. The countdown will result in a game over if it is allowed to countdown to 0. This is where you wanna just rush out as much damage as possible where I use Leo and Tan. Thankfully, Jas will only be able to do one attack so a healer isn't as required but Quick All from Ez is still useful. As long as you aren't too behind in revives, this phase is a victory lap.
And with this fight, this wraps up this run as you receive the Fantasian after beating all the fights. This isn't the end though as I have one more bonus I recorded a week after cause I was a bit curious on the custom difficulties.

Both girls have Substitution Jutsu to give Kiryu more turns for damage or to give Nanba turns to stack Malodorous Stench debuffs or in some cases, have Saeko heal or use Scrum Scrapper to remove Jo's agility buffs. Pretty dumb you can't refresh debuffs until they disappear though. Now this is the bonus that I was talking about where I max out the Custom Difficulty and take on the final boss again. For reference, this is: + 25% Enemy Offensive Power (still 2000 ATK in 0%) + 25% Enemy Defensive Power (is now 1000 DEF compared to 800 DEF in 0% with HP still being unchanged at 1,000,000) + 4 Enemy Speed
I had to change some equipment setup (Kina traded Divine Quartz for MP to HP Convert 2 which means that Retribution will hit all status effects if targeted on her) but overall the strategy listed in the previous video (youtube.com/watch?v=g3EgNcF8b50) still applies. I did mess up badly at 35:46 though by not buffing Leo's ATK which meant that the Tension skill did not kill the White Hole and the ice elemental stones meaning that Supernova got a 3.4x multiplier and I had to improvise with Prickle giving Kina a Mega Barrier (she barely lived though so recovery was possible).FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 52: Jas 2nd (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-25 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses. Jas 2nd is fought immediately after the 1st part in the main story. He will now attack twice per turn (will always be 2 different party members) and then use Godly Pulse which debuffs your ATK/DEF, gives you elemental weakening, status effects and dispels debuffs on him. Due to this, you want your main party to have status protection and Blue Quartz on to prevent Godly Pulse from being too dangerous.
Eventually he will prepare to cast his 1st charged attack, Magna Ray, which is powered by 2 Energizers. If possible, you wanna destroy one of them and then bring out your guard party to guard through it. During this time, you are unable to damage him which can suck. After that he will cast Godly Heal which heals him and then return to his previous pattern of attacking twice per turn + Godly Pulse.
The last attack he has is one upping his younger brother Vam's Summoned Swords by having 14 sword spawn for Deluge of Blades. You wanna destroy as many as possible with Valrika and Tan before bringing out the guard party which will hit hard. Alternatively, you can use a Tension skill to do heavy damage or take out most of the swords.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 50: Gods Predator (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-24 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses. The penultimate boss before the final bosses. God's Predator is weak to dark making Cheryl your best damage dealer. You also want petrification protection for Insert and having Blue Quartz is also nice for resisting elemental resistance.
The boss will start with using Consume (absorbs 90% of your current HP), summoning 2 strong adds, and then hitting you with normal attacks, debuffing your SPD and Holy resistance, hitting the party with the Holy Radiance, and then Insert. Insert gets rid of a party member for a few turns and they will get petrified when they come back up. Afterwards, it repeats the summoning process while occasionally using Consume.
The 2 strong adds can be dealt with by using other big damage dealers like Tan and Leo. Radiance can be tanked by any party member with Diamond jewels equip along with them having no Holy resistance down (can heal with Resist if needed). Otherwise, the fight is pretty straightforward other than Consume being annoying.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 51: Jas (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-24 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses. Now onto the 1st final boss of the game. Jas' main dangerous move are the elemental orbs he summons that you wanna destroy as many as possible and then tank with the tank party. They normally start with one element but quickly start mixing in other elements also where it starts with most of the orbs being one element to it just being a mix of elements. The orbs also become more numerous, starting a 5 and then quickly jumping to 9.
Jas will later on start buffing his ATK, DEF and SPD while giving a party member an elemental resistance down or debuff. I messed up here and had to survive 2 more elemental orbs but you wanna dispel the SPD buff as quickly as possible to get as much time to destroy the orbs. At that point in the fight, a Tension skill may be required to destroy the orbs.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 49: Gods Weapon (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-23 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses. You can only use Zinikr, Tan, and Valrika for this fight. You want to have Petrification protection at the bare minimum also. First part of the fight is always the same, you wanna do enough damage to God's Weapon to force it to stop using Barrier every turn.
After that, how you approach the fight changes depending on the strategy you want to use. God's Weapon will now cast Holy while the other 2 cast damaging attacks. One strategy is to try to do equal damage to the Eye and Gun and then destroy the Gun first as it has the more dangerous random but multiple hit attacks or a single target Break Shot while the Eye debuffs your ATK, DEF or SPD and tries to petrify a single target. Destroying the Gun or taunting will make the Eye use Rock Breaker, an attack that hits the entire party so you wanna destroy them close to each other.
Of course, this video uses a different strategy where you go straight for the God's Weapon and ignore the Eye and Gun since if you destroy both the Eye and Gun, God's Weapon Holy will now target the entire party which hits hard without Diamonds. I had Rutile jewels on which prevented the SPD downs allowing this to be viable although my luck showed that the Eye never did that.
Whichever strategy you choose, God's Weapon will charge up Energy Discharge at low HP so you wanna kill it before it triggers.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 48: Gods Hand (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-23 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses. You can only use Ez and Prickle for this fight. For this fight, you wanna have Ez as your healer and buffer and Prickle as your DPS. Fight (Support) was removed from Ez. God's Hand will use Holy so Diamonds are nice to have.
The gimmick of this fight is that God's Hand will occasionally summon 4 adds and swap forms. These forms are: Normal, Attack Mode (DEF decreased, ATK increase), and Defense Mode (DEF increased, DEF decreased). When that happens, you wanna focus on killing the adds and then charging up with Prickle for big damage as the boss only swaps forms after getting hit twice. You can use this to get the most damage out of Frenzy (Lightning) since it will only target one enemy. You could also ignore the adds and smack the boss right away twice if you really dislike the current form too.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 46: Cinderalla Tri-Stars (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-22 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses. Oh man, the final Cinderella Tri-Star fight is one of the hardest fights in here due to the relentless amount of damage that can happen along with all the gimmicks that this fight has due to it having basically every mechanic from the previous Cinderella Tri-Star fights. You'll wanna have as many status effects resisted as possible since they are able to cause quite a decent amount of them (Curse, Berserk, Sleep, etc.). All counters and Fight (Supports) should be turned off due to Morrigan's clones countering with instant death.
Your very first action is to make sure to destroy the barriers for Dotty and Folt so that you can debuff their ATK. You do not want them to be able to get an ATK up and then use one of their charged attacks cause it does a lot of damage (Dotty's charged attack really hurts and also needs DEF up on your party to survive).
After making sure that Dotty and Folt are debuffed, your next action is destroying Hades as they will constantly be buffing the bosses. After that, you wanna go for Folt as he can heal, inflict status effects and summon enemies. Next is Morrigan since she creates a lot of clones making it annoying to attack (you will need a targeted circle AOE), debuffing your party, and has a single target focus attack that will probably 1HKO the character selected. Lastly, Dotty alone isn't too bad other than the mentioned charge attack. Dotty guarding can get pretty annoying though but you can always try breaking his guard.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 47: Gods Compass (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-22 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses. You can only use Leo, Kina and Cheryl for this fight. You wanna have at least Curse and Berserk resistance although elemental weakening resistance is also helpful. Just unequip equipment from your other 2 parties if you really need it (like for the Holy Belts) and unequip it from this party after you finish this fight. All offensive counters and Fight (Support) were removed.
God's Compass isn't too hard once you understand its gimmick. You wanna destroy the Faces which have different effects as the boss takes almost no damage.
White, Red and Black Faces - They just do single target damage according to their colour element Green Face - Heals the boss Yellow Face - Casts berserk on a single target
After destroying all the Faces once, the boss will now be able to attack where it will use Bad Omen which gives you a bunch of elemental resistance downs, Judgment of God, a party wide attack that removes your buffs (Charge isn't a buff though if you really want to use it), or will just be ready to fight. You still wanna destroy all the Faces again though as thats when its defense drops again.
At this point, you wanna destroy most of the Faces except for the Yellow one. If you destroy all the Faces again, it will regenerate them but keeping one alive means God's Compass won't be able to. The Yellow Face is kept alive as it is only able to cast Berserk which is resisted in my party. If you aren't able to resist it, then keep the Green Face alive. After only one Face is alive, you can focus on killing the boss.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 44: Omega (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-21 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses. Prickle is mandatory for this fight. Omega is a pretty unique boss fight as it starts by activating 2 energy devices. These energy devices are used to power up Omega's attacks with the right one (relative to Omega) affecting his physical attacks and the left one affecting his magic attacks. The right one is more dangerous as you can resist his magic attacks with Diamond jewels but the physical attacks hit hard. The most important thing though is that the energy devices cannot be destroyed but have 3 power levels depending on their health:
1) Blue (100-61%): Full energy where Omega can do its most powerful attacks 2) Orange (60-1%): Not as powerful attacks from Omega 3) Black (0%): Weakest attacks from Omega
After counting down, it will use Overboost and fully heal the 2 energy devices. You really wanna focus on getting the right device to black and at the very least the left device to yellow. Preferably you wanna have both devices at 0% HP. After Omega does its attacks, it will cool down for 2 turns allowing you to heal up and damage him. After that it will repeat a cycle of counting down to Overboost to cooling down. The only other thing to worry about are some of his attacks causing SPD down.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 45: Guardian (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-21 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses. Guardian has an intimidating looking HP bar (it has more HP than the final boss) but is generally very easy once you get past its initial phase. Whenever the weather changes at the start, you wanna bank on Phantom saving you (it didn't for me but it was worth a shot) as it will be able to 1HKO you.
After 2 weather changes, the 3rd weather change will reveal the Weather Device where you will have to hit it with the opposite element in order to weaken it's attack and to do bonus damage with the current element (eg. Ice needs to turn into Fire). Sometimes Guardian will charge up Elemental Crush which will do a lot of damage but not enough to require the guard party as long as the weather has changed. This device can be hit with a curved magic spell or Ez grenade. The only issue is that the device can be destroyed which will screw you over for the rest of the fight so we either hit it with the same element again for it to absorb damage or better yet, use a Tension skill with the same element to heal it (you'll be able to do capped damage this way, 99999). Other than that, the fight is pretty standard although you won't be able to do much damage until the weather is changed.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 42: Ancestral Knight (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-20 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses. Kina and Cheryl are mandatory for this fight. This fight is split into 2 phases but you wanna have Blue Quartz jewels. Skip to 21:15 for Phase 2 as Phase 1 is really long and drawn out. Offensive counters and Fight (Support) were turned off for party members for Phase 2.
Phase 1 is where you have to KO the Unyielding Knight who has way too much HP. The only way to do damage is with the low damaging Knight's Impact which is why it takes up 20 minutes of this video. The rest of your party should be supporting and taking care of the other knights who have one elemental weakness and will proceed to attack your party whenever Unyielding Knight gets its turn. They can also debuff your elemental resistance which is prevented by Blue Quartz. After Unyielding Knight attacks, it will summon knights to replace the ones that you killed.
Phase 2 is more interesting as there are only 3 enemies with Ancestral Knight having much more HP than the other enemies. It starts immediately after Unyielding Knight is KOed. During this phase, it will start by absorbing every element that isn't physical. After it Mode Changes, your party will be inflicted with elemental resistance down and it will be weak to one specific element and absorb the rest. The Unyielding Knight and the other knights will have opposite weaknesses (eg. Unyielding will get Fire weakness and the other knights will have ice weakness). Once Unyielding Knight gets another turn, it will use Flame/Light/etc. of the Founders, a hard hitting party wide attack and return to its initial phase.
The gimmick of this phase and the reason I constantly check their HP is that you need to KO them all at around the same time before an enemy gets a turn. This is because if one of them gets a turn, it will revive the other 2 at 50% HP. Tan is perfect with his Tension attack to finish the fight once they are at low HP.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 43: Solar Flare Noise (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-20 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses. Solar Flare Noise is a relatively simple boss. Its gimmick is that it will move in towards the party which will do damage whenever a party member gets a turn. It will do this 3 times with each time doing more and more damage. This is thankfully affected by Garnets though so you wanna have that on. It's most annoying move is Noise Block which lowers your ATK, DEF, and SPD while also causing fire resistance down. Prominence is a charged move that does a lot of damage but nothing that requires the guard party.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 40: Eternal Holy (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-19 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses. Eternal Holy is a boss that can be very very difficult if you get it to ~50% HP when it retreats back as it will summon Eternal Darkness meaning you have to get hit by both dark and holy attacks which can prove to be too much.
Thankfully with this strategy, we can completely ignore Eternal Darkness by 2 cycling this boss by having it have more than 50% HP when he retreats and then nuking him when he comes back. Even if you mess up, Eternal Holy will be at very low HP making Eternal Darkness much much easier.
To start with, the boss takes and deals less damage when it is at the back and takes and deals more damage when it is up front.
It's cycle is - Do an action (an attack or Providence) - Do an action (an attack or Providence) - Spend 1 turn to get close - Finger attack - Finger attack - Claw of Everlasting Light and goes away
You wanna buff up your party and then debuff him when he is far away and then to just focus on damage when he is close up. Slow is very strong if you are able to land it on him but it is very inconsistent that I try going for it only during the 2nd time it is away (if only you were allowed to use Bounce Field to increase its hit rate). Diamond jewels are mandatory for anyone up when Eternal Holy is up front.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 41: Vam the Destroyer (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-19 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses.
Valrika is mandatory for this fight. Mostly this means you can't use the Guard party as effectively as Valrika will just die from the summoned swords.
Vam the Destroyer is very similar to his original fight but much more punishing as you have a full party and he starts with summoning 7 swords unlike the original where he would gradually increase the amount. This proves to be the biggest issue but thankfully the solution to it is simple, you want to have Valrika focus on the 4 swords to the left with Arrow Rain and Tan focus on the 3 swords to the right with Adolfo Impact. However this can get complicated very quickly if Valrika is unable to get 2 turns before the swords are destroyed so you have to make a judgement call on how to destroy a few of them or to use a Tension skill. The lower his HP, the more often he will go onto Summoned Sword phase so you wanna try not to have a death spiral.
Otherwise, you deal with his non-sword phase the same where he can target and attack some one 3 times, slow a party member and debuff their ATK and DEF.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 39: Metal Ribbidon (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-18 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses.
Metal Ribbidon starts off by being too tanky to do damage to until he heats up so we use Leo to burn him up. After you heat him up to maximum, the real fight starts.
It can be cheesed by having someone taunt + guard which would be Zinikr. You can then have someone else do damage while the other character will support or heal Zinikr. The only complication is that after it's Mode Change, it will start to use Super Buff to buff its ATK, DEF and SPD. You'll wanna dispel this to make it more manageable and to return to what you were doing as Metal Ribbidon is a pretty tanky boss.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 38: Abyss Rush (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-18 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses.
Abyss Rush's gimmick is that it can cast Death Sentence on a single party member, marking them for death in 4 turns and you cannot swap them out during that. Due to that, Kina is a vital party member for being able to resurrect party members to full health. It can also sleep your party members so wear protection for that. When it is at low HP, it will cast Death Sentence on your active party which acts as a DPS check since he will do nothing during his own turns. It does have low HP overall though so taking it out isn't too bad.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 36: Giga Minotaurus (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-17 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses.
Giga Minotaurus is a hard hitting boss who can inflict delay on his attacks and can use Intimidate to lower your ATK, DEF and SPD. Without proper HP and jewels, it also hits very hard.
It also has a decent amount of HP thats more scary on paper than reality. The real reason why is that it will eventually use ATK Up to Stance of Desperation where it will give you time to beat it up while it takes increased damage. You should use this time to pump as much damage as possible and if you can't kill him before he uses his attack, you should swap in a Cat's Eye jewel character to soak it and then Kina Tension skill to revive your party. Although you should kill him before he does it a 2nd time though unless you have a 2nd Cat's Eye character.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 37: Radiant Puppet (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-17 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses.
Radiant Puppet can put a 5 (later 10) hit barrier on itself that you want multi-attacks to hit. It can also summon 5 (later 10) adds that can heal it. As the fight goes on, it can summon weapons that increase the amount of attacks it can throw out and can also block the boss so you need to time your attacks.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 34: Frostian (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-16 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses. Leo's punching bag. Later in the fight, it will cast Frost Field, buffing its damage and will eventually summon a few ice pillars which you can clear by saving a Leo Tension attack.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 35: Plasma Wing (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-16 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses.
Plasma Wing is a more interesting boss than the previous 2 elemental bosses as it sacrifices 20k HP to summon 2 adds (unless it doesn't have the HP to) every time you hit it. There appears to be no limit to it (it might be capped at 10 but I only saw up to 7 I think). It can also buff their attack making it more dangerous to keep them alive. High damaging AOE attacks are recommended for this fight.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 32: Ribbidon Rex (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-15 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses.
Kina is mandatory for this fight. Ribbidon Rex's gimmick is that it asks questions that corresponds to what attacks or actions that it will take. Some of these include status effects though so you wanna resist those while others like acorn or rock have one answer (choose acorn for a heal).
Despite all of this, Ribbidon Rex hits very hard and cannot be debuffed. He is also resistant to elemental attacks so your main DPS should be Tan or Leo. Once he is at low HP (~15k HP), he will summon a bunch of enemies and will have a rock shield around him. You wanna finish him off soon as he will start using Dreadnought, a hard hitting party wide attack that slows your party.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 33: Venom Salamander (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-15 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses.
Venom Salamander is pretty easy to deal with. You need Garnet jewels to survive his fire attacks but you might not even need that cause it can be debuffed with Mist. Later in the fight, it will cast Fire Field, buffing its damage. Just stick to killing its tail and then dumping damage when it stands up.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 31: Sebastian (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-14 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses.
You start with Leo and then will get Kina and Cheryl joining in later when Sebastian cheats.
Sebastian is more of a gimmick fight as he can inflict a status effect with Hidden Gimmick, be annoyingly evasive with Phantom, and will do a hard hitting Power Charge to Vital Strike combo. After a few turns, Sebastian will use Shadow Clone and summon 2 more Sebastians where you just have to survive a bit before the rest of your party joins.
Each new Sebastian does the same thing as the original but with less damage and health. While all 3 are together they can go into 2 stances: - A defensive formation where 2 of them are guarding with the original in the back with Desperation. Use this time to recover and with Cheryl, try to hit them with Enchanting Mist. - An offensive formation where all 3 will Power Charge and hit you with Vital Strike. While not shown in this video, its better to have Leo Taunt and just die from it so you can just use Resurrection with Kina later.
You wanna focus one of the new Sebastians down because after that, the remaining 2 will use Desperation. After that, you defeat the remaining Sebastian clone and then the original.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 30: Shadow of Yim (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-14 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses. For Part 1 bosses, I won't really be writing much and will not be showing my equipment as they are mostly trivial but for Part 2 bosses, I will be showing them after beating them. Battle music is set to random so you may hear Final Fantasy music on bosses that allow them.
Zinikr is mandatory for this fight. Shadow of Yim's most dangerous attack is Nihil Summoning which charges up an Nihil Calamity that does more damage that absorbs any living enemies so you wanna kill them as quickly as possible and then guard. Yim also likes slowing the party so Ez should be used quite often.
Yim's other gimmick is her Distortion of Reality attack (didn't happen in this video) which creates 2 other clones and will quickly move with them. You need to hit the original Yim or you will take massive damage from Nihil Explosion. If you really want to cheese it, you can taunt and the original Yim will have the Taunt debuff on her.
At low HP, Yim will attack more often so you wanna end it as quickly as possible at that point.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 29: Rudy (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-13 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses. Battle music is set to random so you may hear Final Fantasy music on bosses that allow them.
Tan is mandatory for this fight. You wanna kill the adds as quickly as possible as the Rudy's charged Preparing to Strike makes them attack a single party member which will probably kill them. Thankfully Vacuum lets you group them all up and then nuke them. The main reason Valrika is used as my 2nd DPS in this fight is that Rudy can use Barrier which can be given to the adds. This is really bad if lots of them have it.
Although an annoying thing in this fight is that Rudy will constantly counter by debuffing your ATK and DEF if you are attacking him not during Preparing to Strike or prepping up Rudy Strike, a high damage single target attack (telegraphed by buffing its ATK and then charging). Its fine if your Rudy Strike bait dies as you can just use Resurrection on them quickly with Kina.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 28: Mecha Garlamash (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-13 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses. For Part 1 bosses, I won't really be writing much and will not be showing my equipment as they are mostly trivial but for Part 2 bosses, I will be showing them after beating them. Battle music is set to random so you may hear Final Fantasy music on bosses that allow them.
Ez is mandatory for this fight. You will also need Vacuum on him to suck up all the adds as killing one does massive damage to your party. All counters were removed from Leo and Tan so they don't accidentally retaliate against the adds and Support (Fight) skills were removed from Leo and Ez. The boss does War Cry which debuffs your ATK and DEF and the more deadly Delay Smash which gives everyone delay. Make sure to equip Sleep protection.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 27: Infernal Mechteria Blob (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-12 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses.
Cheryl is mandatory for this fight. For the most part this fight isn't too bad but you wanna time your attacks to hit Infernal Mechteria Blob when its mouth is open making it that Cheryl's Blizzard Strike and Valrika's Arrow Rain are the only attacks that do good damage. Otherwise just deal with the adds quickly so that they don't buff the boss too much.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 26: Phoenica & Cerberona (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-12 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses.
Leo is mandatory for this fight. One important thing to note is that every time you attack Phoenica when Cerberona is in front of it, it will counter by debuffing the offender. If left alone, it will continually buff up Cerberona which you wanna remove. Ceberona will just attack with physical attacks, Tail Mist (mist resistance is recommended) on your party and Dark Bomb (single target dark attack so having Onyx jewels is good). Once Ceberona or Phoenica takes too much damage and will swap positions. It will then cast Barrier on Ceberona while Cerberona charges up a 20k Super Heal (even on NG++ where 20k is barely anything for the bosses funnily enough).
There are a few ways of doing this fight but my way is focusing on Cerberona first to avoid getting debuffed by Phoenica on counter. You'll wanna curse Cerberona as early as possible and then do as much damage as possible. Within a few turns of harming it, Phoenica will swap places with it so you should still focus on Cerberona. Due to the curse on Cerberona, it will be unable to get any Barrier that Phoenica uses and will get 0 healing from it's own charged Super Heal. Only problem is that Leo can't hurt Cerberona without attacking Phoenica who will counter attack him. Once Ceberona is down, you can focus on Phoenica who won't counter you anymore but will continue to use buffs, debuffs and Dark Laser (party dark attack).FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 24: Lyranodon 2nd (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-11 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses. Every time you beat a boss, you get 2 SP Capsules making this a great way of maxing out your growth maps. Battle music is set to random so you may hear Final Fantasy music on bosses that allow them.
This fight is like the very first fight with Lyranodon but you have no rooms for mistake as one fully charged Thunderstorm will knock you off the cliff. As before, Amethyst jewel is mandatory on Zinikr so that he can use Taunt + Guard (make sure to get it in his growth map). You'll also notice I don't have Zinikr out unless he needs to Taunt, this is to ensure that I can swap to him as quickly as possible before the orblings get a chance to move before he does if he's active on the field. Otherwise, you should take care of the orblings first and then the boss, using Ez to buff your stats up.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 25: Chaos Basilisk (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-11 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses.
Valrika is mandatory for this fight. Chaos Basilisk is a pretty easy boss with an annoying as hell gimmick. You wanna make sure to have Curse Resistance as halfway through the fight, it will make cast Word of Death giving your party curse every turn and removing all your buffs. He can also petrify you so have resistance to it or a lot of Rock Hammers. Tail Breaker hurts a lot (telegraphed by the tail animation and it using Power Charge beforehand) so buff your party's DEF (unless you are in the 2nd phase) and debuff his ATK to deal with it. In the 2nd half of the fight, it can use Death Stare which is just an instant kill with no protection which just sucks and is annoying. Kina with Resurrection is good for it but it sucks when she gets targeted with it.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 22: Lagrange Wind (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-10 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses. Battle music is set to random so you may hear Final Fantasy music on bosses that allow them.
Leo is mandatory for this fight. First phase of the fight, you can just focus on buffing up before timing your hits to destroy the orbs. You'll want Ruby jewels to protect against the boss' hard hitting fire attack. Ez is basically mandatory as he will continually slow your party although someone that can inflict ATK or DEF down is also a good if you want to make it waste it turn dispelling it. A guard party for Scissor Cross is also great to use although you can focus on damage afterwards as it will usually retreat and repeat the first phase again where you can heal/buff up again.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 23: Blue & Adolfo (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-10 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses. Battle music is set to random so you may hear Final Fantasy music on bosses that allow them.
Tan is mandatory for this fight against me. For the first few turns, he will be unable to attack Adolfo so you will instead have to use your other 2 party members to attack him. Once Tan is able to attack Adolfo, he should be your main target while Blue may buff up occasionally which you wanna remove (Dispels or just debuffing him). Continue this until Blue pulls out his trump card (Stone of Control) which buffs Adolfo by quite a bit. After that, you wanna steal the Stone of Control from Blue which I had some bad luck on to knock Adolfo out. Then you focus squarely on Blue who will use Mystery Potion later to buff himself up but also make him take more damage turning it into a damage race near the end.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 20: Robo Organizer γ & δ (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-09 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses. Prickle is forced into the party which is completely fine as the weakness of the bosses are lightning. You will wanna focus on one of the Robo Organizers at a time though as they become Overclocked at low HP which is pretty bad as they can attack twice per turn. While on a NG run you just have to destroy the arm that has your current elemental weakness, I'd suggest breaking as many of them as possible as they Lasers do quite a decent chunk of damage.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 21: Entrapped Zinikr (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-09 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses. I will use Zinikr to free the Entrapped Zinikr. Main gimmick of the fight is to match the alternative element which is mostly a pain for anything that requires Earth in a normal run, you'd only have Kina if you rescued her earlier (unlikely) so you'd need to rely on Ez grenades or Earth Shards but thankfully we can use Zinikr instead. The only other thing to worry about is the rocks protecting the boss as you need to time your hits to avoid hitting them. The longer the fight goes on, the more rocks that will appear so bursting the boss down is a good idea.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 18: Geo Nova (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-08 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses. Here's where I learned that the refights in Ultimate Illusion Part 2 allows you to use all your party members due to recruitment being non-linear (eg. After the fight you recruit Ez again and its the game's intended route but you can technically get him later in the game). Ez himself kinda trivializes the fight as you are able to vacuum up the adds and the speed boosts he gives are always great.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 19: Golem 2nd (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-08 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses. Make sure to destroy the arms first as they do big damage. Golem's charge attack Silvery Ray isn't too bad to deal with if you have HP Jewels although you can minimize it with a Guard party if needed. It will also try to shield itself with rocks later in the fight but you can knock them down if you break the core with good timing.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 16: Titanic Serpent (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-07 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses. Now moving onto Part 2 bosses of the Ultimate Illusion bosses which is where the interesting & hard bosses are and where I will also show equipment setup. Although Titanic Serpent being the next boss in the set after Chaos Serpent is a weird, dumb choice considering how much harder Titanic Serpent is especially compared to a lot of Part 2 bosses and how it is intended to be tackled late into Part 2.
HP jewels are absolutely crucial in this fight along with Amethyst jewels to lower the damage coming from the occasional lightning attacks from the boss. Killing the Kind Sandphins is required as they will heal the boss so Tan is in the first party slot to ensure that he can 1 shot the spawning King Sandphin while dealing big damage to the boss at the same time. Leo's (can be replaced with Zinkir) usual goal is to lower the boss' attack and kill one of the King Sandphin. After 3 turns of boss attacks, it will charge up an attack that will be tanked by the usual "tank" party which may be a bit overkill but safety is prioritized here. I usually use a Tension skill to kill the Sandphin's to ensure I can continually damage the boss. With this setup, most of the boss attacks are not too deadly and aren't too bad to heal up from.
The main issue with the fight is the amount of stats you need from the Growth Map to survive it's most dangerous attack, Hyper Bite though. This attack does quite a lot of damage that lowering the boss' attack and needing a healer (Kina is used here) is necessary because it can use it whenever it wants. If only you could use Bounce field in this fight for consistent debuffing.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 17: Money-Money Tree 2nd (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-07 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses. Battle music is set to random so you may hear Final Fantasy music on bosses that allow them.
A breather of a boss after the insane Titanic Serpent fight. The only change is that he summons a lot of adds to kill which I didn't see in this recording as I killed the boss too fast but nothing an Ez Vacuum can't solve with 1 AOE attack.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 13: Robo Organizer 2nd (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-06 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses. You wanna destroy the arm that shows the colour that you are weak to although destroying both is fine too. Robo Organizer will always go down for a turn afterwards to recharge so you can use that to heal/buff up before continuing the fight.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 15: Chaos Serpent (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-06 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses. Get Poison resistance and the boss is pretty easy especially with its phase transition. Chaos Serpent can charge up an attack with Poison Feast but nothing too bad that you can't just heal up. Kinda an awkward way of ending Part 1 when the previous boss would fit better as a finale there.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 14: Vam (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-06 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses. Vam's Dimensional Distortion is pretty annoying as he will debuff your ATK and DEF. His Triple Edge that he telegraphs by marking a character is also dangerous as it can 1HKO characters. The Summoned Swords can also be dangerous but thankfully with Ez's Quick All, you have a ton of time to destroy them.FANTASIAN Neo Dimension ~ Ultimate Illusion Boss 11: Frostian (Hard Mode)blue asian2025-03-05 | Ultimate Illusion is a new addition to the Neo Dimension version that is unlocked by finishing Inner Void Realm where you can fight NG++ (the maximum scaling with heavily inflated stats) story and side quest bosses.
