Hippety Hoppety Get Off My Property (No Joke)Same as before, but I added extra sound effects, most prominently that loud creaking coming from the tram that is hanging in the middle of the area.
Here's the audio without the background sounds from the source: youtu.be/tk5xoXqgV24
----------------------------------------
I feel that the game is missing a lot of sounds that are frequently used in the first game. It's most likely because the game's still work in progress and these will make it to the final build, but I wanted to make a video to give an idea how it should sound like.
These are all audio from the first Dead Space, with a couple of added from Dead Space 2. Mainly I added the vent fans, that great metallic howling, those random electrical sounds, the stinger music cues when the Slasher goes through the vents, the Slasher sounds and the Plasma Cutter sound I already demonstrated in the previous video.
In case any of the developers of the remake actually see this, some of these sounds aren't located in the "audiostreams" folder, but rather either in the "global_assets" or some of the level related archives within the game files. The "grand metal howl" sounds or whatever they are called are probably also found in the game files, but I found them also from the first game's main menu's front end files. Slasher and the Plasma Cutter sounds are located in their own archives. Thought this would be useful info since they said in the livestream they've gone researching the game files for source material.

Includes the entire music track that plays in the game and some pieces not heard in the normal or the extended editions of the OST.
I actually recorded the in-game soundtrack 2 years ago, but didn't finish it, as I realized that they combined the cutscene music tracks together with the dialogue and I didn't feel like manually editing every section out, so the project was put on hold, until now. Thanks to some A.I tools, I managed to edit out surprisingly well the dialogue from those music tracks, but unfortunately the background noises are still left in, since I cannot find the actual audio files of those cutscenes and instead had to use other people's recordings on YouTube to get the audio cues. Some cutscene tracks were included in the OST, which I borrowed.

Keyes sounds somewhat fine, though she's pretty off from the actual voice actor, but Truth was hard to get right. The A.I speaks way too fast and too monotonely for Truth to sound like he does in Halo 2. Perhaps in some time, this can be fixed with manual editing of the speed and tone of the voice actors in the A.I tool.
Created with ElevenLabs A.I beta.elevenlabs.ioElder Scrolls Skyrim - Paarthurnax Dilemma Delphine Dialogue With Original Voice (A.I)Hippety Hoppety Get Off My Property (No Joke)2023-02-07 | This time Delphine's dialogue in the Paarthurnax Dilemma mod is voiced with the original voice actor.
I think the beginning sounds pretty good, but at the end she sounds way too calm. Hard to get good clips without rerolling the dice in the tool's settings a thousand times and wasting my monthly quota.
Once again, not actually part of the mod, I just created this for fun to see how it would sound like if this was ever made officially.
Tool in question: beta.elevenlabs.ioElder Scrolls Skyrim - Lydia Extra Dialogue Add-on With Original Voice (A.I)Hippety Hoppety Get Off My Property (No Joke)2023-02-07 | Another video of Lydia's dialogue from the extended dialogue mod with her original voice actor recreated with A.I.
Once again, not actually part of the mod, I just created this for fun to see how it would sound like if this was ever made officially.
Pretty much the same deal as with the previous video, but with Serana from Elder Scrolls Skyrim, from the mod that adds dialogue to her outside of the main Dawnguard DLC. Dialogue is from the Thieves Guild questline where you head out with Mercer to that Nordic barrow and get ambushed by Karliah. (Well, actually I just copied the dialogue from here: youtube.com/watch?v=NkPl5WRJ42w)
And no, this isn't actually part of the mod, I just wanted to test with the A.I tool what it'd actually sound like now that this is somewhat possible.
I used the new Elevenlabs A.I speech synthesizer tool to recreate the original voice of Kendra Daniels from the original 2008 Dead Space for the new remake. Here's the link: beta.elevenlabs.io/speech-synthesis
I think the result is alright, but I had to cut a lot of lines into pieces or the A.I would just speak way too quickly without pauses. Also burned about 25k of my monthly free quota just to get an acceptable result for this and it's still not quite right.
The tool could use manual adjusting of pauses and the delivery of some lines. Right now, it's just a coin toss of chance of getting the audio clip sounding right. But it's definitely getting there.RE1 Jill Valentine Face For Resident Evil 3: Remake PreviewHippety Hoppety Get Off My Property (No Joke)2022-05-25 | Preview of a Jill Valentine face mod based on the Julia Voth Resident Evil 1 Remake face.

The Plasma Cutter is missing that iconic "hiss" and "oomph" sound, so I added it back with the original sound effect I think from Dead Space 2 (it's been a long time since I extracted the sounds, I can't remember anymore, but it wasn't the first game since the sounds are compressed in that game.
It would sound way better in the actual engine, but this is a good start.
