Molly Stark Sanatorium ‐ Abandoned Tuberculous Hospital Haunted Pt.1 URBEX HILL 2021-10-13 | In today's video, I'm exploring Molly Stark Sanatorium, A tuberculous hospital that was built in the late 1920.Named after the wife of General John Stark, Molly Stark Sanatorium was constructed under the misconception that sunlight and fresh air were necessary for the patients recovery of tuberculous.Bedridden patients with the worst cases of tuberculous were sent to the upper floor.As improvements to their health were noted, they were transferred one floor lower at a time until they eventually reached the first floor.The complex includes a children's hospital.Just in 1946 alone, 153 patients died from tuberculous at this facility.In 1952, several expansion were constructed, increasing the hospital's capacity to 230 patients.By the 1950's, advancements in antibiotics allowed for the treatment of tuberculous which made it impractical for the facility to continue operating as a tuberculous hospital.In 1956, the name was changed to Molly Stark hospital and began admitting non - tuberculous patients. Molly Stark hospital continued to operate until 1995 when it was closed due to declining patients numbers and an aging facility. This place has been abandoned for 26 years. This place is HAUNTED! Exploring Paul Revere Abandoned School - Everything left behind! URBEX HILL 2022-03-27 | Today, I'm in Cleveland Ohio exploring an abandoned school named Paul Revere Elementary. Opened in 1923 the school provided grades K-8, And educated a wide variety of different ethnic backgrounds throughout the years. However as time passed the school became predominantly black and as the declining enrollment numbers grew so did the neighborhood's financial struggles. To put into perspective, In 1970, Paul revere had 1600 students enrolled, But in 2015, there were only 320 students left. Inevitably facing declining enrollment numbers and the district wanting to remodel schools schools to provide a contemporary education, the students and teachers were relocated to a modernized facility and the school was closed in 2015 after 92 years of service. This school has been abandoned for 7 years. A playground once filled with joy and laughter now sits completely forgotten. Scrappers, vandals, and the elements has severely damaged this 99 year old school beyond repair, but there is still hope as plans were made to convert the school into an apartment housing complex. Exploring Nativity Catholic Church & School - Night Exploration Creepy URBEX HILL 2022-03-06 | In today's video im exploring A creepy Abandoned Church.On October 23, 1927, Citizens of the slovak community in Cleveland Ohio were overjoyed we're overjoyed as nativity of the blessed Virgin Mary church was erected alongside the nativity Catholic school. The school was originally Built in 1909 and it would undergo several additions in 1925. On July 16th 1956 the Catholic Church received devastating news finding out their long time pastor of 47 years died at the age of 77. After 63 graduating classes and 2921 graduate students then activity Catholic Church church closed its doors for good in 1972. But the church would remain open continuing to thrive and serve the community for the years to come. On December 27th 1992 financial Catholic Church would receive more heartbreaking news as the church announced its closure after 65 years of service. This church has been abandoned for 30 years being exposed to the elements has destroyed this place beyond repair. It's become a haven for scrappers and taggers, But still some of the beauty of the past remains visible. Exploring this place at night really gave it some creepy vibes. 1950s Abandoned Country House Restaurant * Frank Sterles Slovenian Country House * URBEX HILL 2021-09-10 | In this video im exploring the Frank Sterle's Slovenian Country House restaurant that was first established in 1954, by the name Bonna's Cafe.As the restaurant's success grew, several additions were constructed throughout the 1970s and in 1977, the name was changed from Bonna's Cafe to Frank Sterle's Slovenian Country House.The Restaurant was well known in Cleveland for its world class polka music and performances.Frank Sterle designed this place to resemble his childhood home.After Frank Sterle's death in 1986, the restaurant was taken over by Mike Longo& Margot Glinski.Despite the change in ownership, the restaurant continued to serve traditional Slovenian dishes and had weekly polka performance and dancing.This building has been abandoned since 2017.This building is in pretty good shape despite the vandalism and slight structural damage.The restaurant looks like is currently undergoing renovations and I'm sure this place will be used again in the near future.while exploring, I found a broken water pipe flooding the basement causing lots of damage. Exploring Abandoned Recycling Factory URBEX HILL 2021-08-12 | In this video I explored an abandoned recycling factory in Cleveland, Ohio that was built between the 1960s and 70s.In 1987, the recycling plant changed ownership and was purchased by a company named Strategic Materials.When this factory was fully operational, It processed a wide variety of glass and plastic materials which would be used to make containers, fiberglass, highway reflecting beads, and many other products.Although it looks as if its been a much longer, this factory has only been abandoned since 2011.Being exposed to the elements has taken a toll on the structure of this factory.This factory will demolished due to the out of date machinery and the irreversible damage to the structure. Exploring Abandoned Historical Library URBEX HILL 2021-07-31 | In Cleveland Ohio there is an abandoned historic library that was built in 1920.At the time of its construction, the initial cost of the building was 69,550 dollars.This library was constructed by architect firm Whitfield & king.A cleveland artist by the name Ora Coltman supervised the construction of this branch from Whitfield's design.He donated his paintings to this library, one of which you can see in one of the historic pictures.This library was closed in 1990 and has sat abandoned ever since.This building is in great condition to be 101 years old. Exploring Creepy Abandoned Empire Computech School URBEX HILL 2021-07-13 | In this video I explored the abandoned Computech Empire school located in the Glenville neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio.This elementary/ junior high school was built in 1915 by architect Walter Mccornick.This school was deemed unsafe due to structural damage and closed in 2011.The district spent more than 336,000 dollars on the school to repair decaying wood, windows, paint and making heating improvements.The school has sat abandoned for 10 years, but the severity of the water damage would make you think its been abandoned for much longer.On June 30th 2021, the city of Cleveland agreed to sell some vacant school and property's so that developers can build something new.14 schools throughout Cleveland were sold in this agreement, one of which being Empire school.This school will eventually be converted into an apartment complex.With the school having architectural value, I'm hoping they can restore this once beautiful building without destroying it.make sure you watch this video till the very end..#Abandoned #School If you want to support my channel visit:patreon.com/UrbexHillpaypal.me/URBEXHILLcontact me at quevay20@gmail.com
