Ezras Eagle is Dead Gospel Lessons 2025-01-20 | After years of waiting, January 20, 2025 has come and with it an end to the much contested interpretation around Ezra’s Eagle. As a quick recap, Ezra’s Eagle is the name given to a prophesy written in the 11th and 12th chapters of the Apocraphal book of Esdras (which is another spelling of Ezra) that describes what some believe a sequence of events leading up to the 2nd coming and can help pinpoint the timeline of last days events. About a decade ago, a man came up with an interpretation of what is said in the book of Esdras. The prophesy itself describes a three headed eagle with feathers that vary in length. Several years ago, a man believed that he had solved the mystery of the feathers after finding that the length of the feathers mapped to the terms of U.S. presidents. It starts at Herbert Hoover because the 2nd feather seems to get an extra long term in office which was mapped to FDR who had 4 terms. The plot thickened with two short feathers matching where Kennedy and Nixon would be, both having short terms in office. The theory continues to map between regular feathers and regular presidents terms up through Obama. By this mapping, Obama becomes the 14th feather. The prophesy then switches to the other wing and says that the next 6 feathers would be short feathers, meaning terms that would end early. This is when the definition of short feathers was expanded because Trump wasn’t impeached nor was he assassinated but supporters of this theory say that the 2020 election was stolen from him and therefore, he is a short feather. (being the #1 feather on the right side of the eagle) your left. This would make the next feather which is also short, President Biden. So if you believe that trump is a short feather due to a stolen election, then The prophesy is very clear that the “Biden” short feather will server a shorter term than the Trump first term feather. It says “And the second was sooner away than the first . Which is why believers in this interpretation believe that Biden would be removed from office due to mental impairment or death prior to January 20 2025. Everything about this interpretation hung on the belief that Biden would NOT finish his term. Then it would be the beginning of the end with the next two short feathers not actually ruling in any way, meaning there wouldn’t be another president of the U.S., we would fall into civil war due to the deep state only to be ruled by the Anti-Christ and Satan during the final 7 years before Christ’s 2nd coming. In November of 2024 Michael Rush, the gentlemen who originally came up with the interpretation of Ezra’s Eagle, gave his most recent update on his interpretation. Here is what he said. [click] “In order for [Ezra's Eagle] to be accurate Trump cannot be "set up" (Inaugurated) again... that is why I say there is an expiration on this and that expiration date is January 20, because ... as of January 20 they are going to be sworn into office and then they will be "set up"... so before January 20 if my interpretation of this is accurate then the eagle heads, the secret combinations within the united states need to wake up and devour [Trump and Vance]...Again, I hope it is not true. I hope I am wildly off base with this...[but] all of these things are pointing me to believe that Ezra's Eagle is still totally viable...now again, I hope, we come to January 21, we see Trumps first day in office, and we can all sigh a big sigh of relief that Ezra's Eagle turned out to be Michael's Turkey instead of Ezra's Eagle because I was totally wrong. I hope that that's the case. But with the way things are right now I can't dismiss this prophesy. “ We then discuss future prophecies and how social media influencers will use last days events to profit.

7 Common False Beliefs about the Wise Men Gospel Lessons 2024-12-15 | There are many false traditions about the wise men. First the only place we find this story is in the book of Matthew and is only 12 verses? We assume there were 3 Wise men based on the number of gifts given but in reality it doesn’t say how many wise men and it is likely there were more, perhaps 12 or more with an entourage of servants and others. The Greek for Wise men is Magi meaning “a member of a priestly caste of ancient Persia.”. The tradition of calling them “kings” comes around the 3rd century and in the 8th century, they were given names and territories. While camels likely would have been used as part of the caravan, high class citizens may have ridden Arabian horses themselves. The New Testament is clear that only the Wise men saw the star, not even the shepherds. The Wise men didn’t actually follow the star to Jerusalem from the east but rather they knew the prophecy of the messiah who would be born in Jerusalem when the star appeared. But they did follow the star once in Jerusalem to find the savior. The wise men wouldn’t have visited Jesus in the manger as it likely would have taken months or years to make the journey from the east once the star appeared.

Abomination of Desolation Gospel Lessons 2024-10-13 | Near the very end of Christ’s mortal ministry, he prophesied about the destruction of Jerusalem. He was asked by his apostles when it would take place and his answer is recorded in Matthew 24. Decrypting Gospel Lessons 2024-09-06 | It seems that every Christian has a personal belief about the timing of the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ. Some have specific dates and others a vague idea. Some people think it is soon and others think it is far into the future. I often get the question of why or how have I come to the conclusions that I have. I have given this a lot of thought and what I have come up with I think is worth sharing because it is essentially an approach to understanding the timing of the 2nd coming…but not my understanding of the timing, but yours. In other words, whether you think the 2nd coming is near or far, it is based on assumptions and beliefs that you have. I want to share with you my assumptions and beliefs which have lead me to my conclusions. You don’t have to agree with them at all but if you agree with them, it would be difficult to come to a different conclusion regarding the timing. Jerusalem Temple Alternate Location? Gospel Lessons 2024-08-09 | Most people believe that the 3rd temple in Jerusalem will be built on the temple mount, either in place of or next to the dome of the rock. However there are some people that believe the temple can or should be built elsewhere. This is an important topic because the rebuilding of the Jerusalem temple in the last days is a prerequisite for the 2nd coming of the Lord. There is a small but growing group that believe they have identified another spot in Jerusalem where they believe the first and second temples originally were, and not on the temple mount. This is known as the City of David Theory. The City of David, is the area just south of the temple mount. During Christ's life, this was the poorer area of Jerusalem, but earlier, hundreds of years earlier, this was the heart of Jerusalem prior to the expansion in many areas and the building of walls to encompass the larger city. What is the Skin of Blackness in the Book of Mormon Gospel Lessons 2024-08-02 | There has been a lot of talk recently about race in the Book of Mormon. some scholars have recently offered alternative explanations for what some believe are racial statements in the Book of Mormon. Today I'd like to propose another.There are apologists who have attempted explain the skin of blackness as non-racist in a variety of ways, and to be clear, everyone needs to come to their own conclusion and find peace in whatever they believe. These apologists have said that perhaps the skin of blackness were tattoos, or skin paint, or even dark clothing rather then their skin actually turning black. But these explanations for some make little sense, especially when later in the Book of Mormon the curse is removed. Does that mean God removed tattoos or allowed them to wear different colored clothing? But that still leaves us with, for some, an uncomfortable situation regarding black skin in the book of Mormon and how it is portrayed, especially when looking through a modern day lens. Why is Rapture so Confusing and when will it happen? What will happen 40 Days After the Eclipse - May 18, 2024 Gospel Lessons 2024-05-10 | There was so much excitement and anticipation by so many around the eclipse that happened on April 8, 2024. We are approaching 40 days after the eclipse so lets recap why some believe that is important and what may happen next. I had told everyone in my various videos that I didn't believe it to be a sign of the times, even with it being the 2nd in the Great American Eclipses, 7 years apart where some warned it was a warning to America to repent.This warning they believed came from God marking a big giant X over America from the 2 eclipses forming a Tav sign, meaning the end of peace. They thought this due to the belief that the first eclipse went over exactly 7 cities named Salem meaning peace and the other eclipse formed the tav meaning the end. So they came up with the end of peace. Furthermore, the second eclipse supposedly went over 7 cities named Nineveh and it was widely reported in social media that there were only 7 cities named Nineveh in the U.S. and it was going directly over all of them. This last part about Nineveh was largely emphasized because some believed the prophesy of Jonah was being fulfilled. Is the April 8 2024 Eclipse a Sign of the 2nd Coming Gospel Lessons 2024-03-16 | The Internet and social media are a-buzz about the great American Eclipse with the 2nd eclipse in about 6 months happening on April 8, 2024. The first of the two eclipses was on October 14, 2023 but this was an annular eclipse rather than a total eclipse meaning you could still see the edge of the sun around the moon. Predestination vs Foreordination Gospel Lessons 2024-02-10 | For most of my life I have heard people both within and outside of the church argue the concepts of predestination vs foreordination; [click] and I understand why people can be confused. On the one hand, what the scriptures say is that God knows everything from the beginning to the end. But if God knows everything, then he knows how I am going to turn out. And if he knows every decision and mistake I am going to make, that sounds a lot like predestination. My path is set, God knows it, I just don't know it yet. But then we are also taught about Agency, and how we can choose and how these choices change our future. We are taught that we are foreordained to everything from [click] callings in the church to our very [click] exaltation; but these things are predicated upon our righteousness, i.e. our proper use of agency to receive these outcomes. But if we have choice, and our future is unclear, then that doesn't jive with Predestination and a view that God knows everything. Has the 7th Seal been Opened Gospel Lessons 2023-10-13 | Are we in the 6th or 7th seal according to the book of Revelation and how does this play into the events in the last days prior to Christ's return. John the Revelator in the book of Revelation speaks of a book with 7 seals. From D&C 77 we know that each seal represents 1000 years of the earth's history. Jesus Christ is the only one able to open these seals which he does and we get a peek into the happenings of each of these time periods. Because the first 5 seals are in the past, very little time is spent on them. The 6th seal is the last days and the 7th seal is the millennium. There is a debate among members of the church as to whether we are in the 6th seal or the 7th seal. John makes it clear that there is a period of time between when the 7th seal opens until the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ. So if we are in the 7th seal, then the 2nd coming could be very near; which is what many believe.
