What ended up happening was that when I exported the rat gif as an mp4, Premiere Pro attached an empty audio track to it because I forgot to uncheck a box, so I had to remap the audio exports with the "-map 0:v:0 -map 1:a:0" section. That was not fun to figure out.My second mistake is that I kept exporting the full 10 hour videos expecting them to come out without mistakes, but I always had problems with something, so I ended up waiting for the full 10-hour videos to export (which took about 15 minutes) to figure out what was happening. What I could've done instead was to export a 5-minute video (which would take a few seconds to export) and then once that was working, do the full 10-hour one. I'll know for next time though, if there even is a next time. One more little annoying thing is that I actually wanted the video to be in 8K if you can believe it! However something happened during the FFmpeg encoding and it became something like 5K, which will now only show up as 4K on youtube. I'm planning on eventually making an unlisted 8K video that's just a single loop though. Just not a full 10 hour one cuz it'll probably be too large of a file.Edit: it exists. youtu.be/1cMLqKMeIKMIf I were to redo this video (which I won't), there's a few things I would do differently:1. Sync the rat spinning speed to the original one. For this video I kinda just half-assed it and now it's slightly slower than it should be.2. Use Nearest-Neighbor interpolation and export the gif in 4K or 8K instead of scaling up the original in premiere pro. Now it's got some blurry edges.3. Do 5 minute FFmpeg exports instead of 10 hour ones. Waiting for the exports wasted so much of my time when figuring out what was going wrong.4. If the filesize didn't exceed 128 gigabytes, get it to export in 8K. I think I forgot to configure a setting in FFmpeg and it went from 8K to around 5K.Got any questions? Upside Dizzy Galaxy | 1 hour loop Corpax 2022-03-31 | From hit Wii game Super Mario Galaxy 2. One hour loops are actually pretty easy to make tbh. You need: - Your audio (whether it's from youtube, soundcloud, etc) - Audacity (or another advanced audio editing program) - Premiere Pro (or another video editing program) - Photoshop/Photopea (or another image editing program)0) Download your song somehow. 1) Go into audio program and find the two points in your song that need to be looped (this may require some more complicated editing depending on the song). Delete the excess parts of the song that don't get looped. Listen to the beginning and end to make sure it's as seamless as possible. Close your eyes and just listen to it if you need to.2) Copy/paste the looped section multiple times IN THE AUDIO PROGRAM. Export as .mp3 if you want to save storage space or .wav if you have too much free space. 2a) Make some sort of creative album cover art for the file because it's fun (OPTIONAL). 2b) If you decide not to do step 2a, just look up the normal cover art or whatever. 2.5) Regardless, the image *should* be in a 1:1 aspect ratio, no larger than 1080px in either dimension. You don't want your viewers watching your shitty 1 hour loop in 8k lossless video quality when it's all fucking audio; what a waste of data. 3) Open video editing program and drop your exported looped audio into the project. Then also drop it into the timeline or whatever so that it shows up correctly. Then put the cover art or the image that you made on top of the audio and stretch it out so that it matches the time of the audio (sidenote: zoom into the very end to make sure that it lines up properly). Export the video in a relatively small video quality. For premiere, I usually use H.264 because it exports pretty fast (under 5 minutes normally) and has a relatively low file size compared to how long the file actually IS. Just make sure that the audio is at the highest bitrate (but don't go over 320kbps cuz youtube compresses it down to that anyways).4) Upload to youtube. Name it something relevant. Write a witty description. Possibly explain how you made your 1 hour loop to show your viewers how easy it all is. And there you have it. How to make a 1 hour looping video on youtube. I did end up leaving a few details out because I can't go into EVERYTHING in a youtube description but this is still the rough guide on how to do it.
