But due to the declining ratio which now favors digital, the limited print companies, and collector's themselves, now it's not always the cheaper option. Concord Is PlayStations Biggest Failure Ever. Now What? Mystic 2024-08-25 | Last Friday saw the launch of Concord, Sony's new live service IP for PS5 and PC from Firewalk Studios. A team which they acquired before they even shipped their first game. And as we saw from the initial public beta, the full game has had an abysmal debut. Considering the game had an 8 year development cycle, with planned support going into next year, we can probably say this is the biggest financial disaster PlayStation has made with a game release. And yet, I still can't shake the feeling that this was probably a preferred outcome vs. all the other ideas people are floating around out there. NEW PS5 Beta Audio Upgrade Tested: Is This A Game Changer? Mystic 2024-08-06 | Sony recently sent out a new PS5 system software beta that finally includes the feature to make a custom 3D Audio profile in settings. So instead of 5 basic presets, you can now go through a setup wizard that attempts to configure a profile that's tailored for you. I've been playing games with this for two weeks now, and while it does sound good, I want to directly compare this to the basic 3D Audio settings. So that's what we try to do here. Is it a placebo effect? Or is it actually better? And is a hotdog really a sandwich? We didn't test that here. It had so many amazing games that changed the industry. It had DVD playback which was incredibly useful and worth having in the early 2000's. And Also, Gran Turismo 4 supported Epson printers. Because how else were you going to show your friends at school, your office co-workers, or your friends at the bar that awesome car that you just unlocked. That's right, PS3 could print from a lot of third party printers. But PS2 had one of the earliest examples of a traditional photo mode in a game. And today, we attempt to use it in the glorious year of 2024. It.. did not work exactly.
