Yahya Hassan Tribute

Hopswatch 2020-04-30 | The Danish-Palestinian poet Yahya Hassan was found dead in his apartment on April 30th 2020 at the way too young age of 24. He managed, however, to put an everlasting mark on Danish history of poetry with his immensely popular poems about the rough life growin up in an Aarhus suburb, experiencing extreme pressures both from Danish society and the muslim community he grew up in.
Also, his Palestinian background played a significant role, as this added to the feeling of rootlessness among many of his fellow immigrant youths.

This is my tribute to him. I read one of his poems, in his style as well as I can.

Slight problem - I don't really feel like celebrating. I'm fighting with depression due to unemployment, and these are my unscripted, spontaneous comments on it.
