The Zaragian Guard (Episode 1-3)

Not many may know that Whitefall actually wasn't my first series. I used to have an very old series called The Zaragian Guard. I lost access to my first account in 2011, so several episodes were lost when that channel got deleted and I later deleted an episode that had been posted to this channel instead of unlisting/privating it, meaning that several episodes were lost forever. That is, until I was reminiscing about the past with a friend who actually had three episodes downloaded and sent them to me, making the three first episodes of ZG no longer lost media.

So with this, it took me a lot of back and forth but I've finally decided to embrace the weirdness ZG was and reupload the few episodes I made. Both for my followers who may even remember ZG, and for those curious to see my first animated YT series! It ran from 2010 to 2013 when the last episode (Episode 6) was posted February 2013 and I switched over to work on Whitefall instead. While I have episode 5 and 6 on this channel still I may make them public again if anyone is curious to see!

!! Keep in mind though, this was all made in 2010 (I believe all of this was made that one year) when I was 13-14 years old. I was easily inspired by others, which led to some animations, art or character designs that bear heavily resemblence to others at that time. A lot of that kept me from ever looking back at ZG fondly or with good memories because of it. Please do keep this in mind when watching, as this video is simply for nostalgia and reminiscing about the past. !!

These episodes are completely uneddited aside from me trying to fix an audio issue with episode 2 that made the sound lag. Aside from that, nothing else has been altered!

With that, I don't think there's much else to say? This all will obviously not be continued, however, if anyone out there has Episode 3 part 2 as well as all of episode 4 downloaded, please reach out! I'd love to download them again and maybe even reuploading them if they're still out there somewhere!

As for the rest- enjoy The Zaragian Guard, my first animated series!

It’s finally here! I highly recommend watching the entire episode before going to the comments, as they are most likely to contain spoilers!

Now this episode… Although being planned for 4 years, I wasn’t entirely sure how to deal with the middle scenes when I first began on this journey. But all in all, I am so happy with how this turned out. While not having the longest production time, it most certainly was the most difficult and challenging! This is “part 2” of Episode 3, so those two are meant to be watched together! I was thinking of reuploading them as the new official Episode 3, but that’ll mess up some numbering issues and I don’t want to lose all the comments on Episode 3, so here we are.

With this episode, it concludes the prologue “arc” introduction to Whitefall, and the next episode will officially start the plot and the first “arc” or season so to speak! Episodes 1-4 were all written originally as one episode, but I decided to split it up to be much more manable (since all these episodes together are way over an hour long, which is crazy to me)

So finally I got around to making this meme OTL I've been wanting to do it ever since I saw it, and then got a sudden burst of motivation so I finished everything beyond sketching in one-two sittings.

This explores an upcoming character quite a bit, and I felt it really fit her, Siryn! While it isn't a while before she makes her first appearance, I thought it'd be fun to show her a bit more! Along with some.. ominious things going on..

Trailer- Whitefall Episode 3

So, this is quite unexpected isn't it?
After a lot of thought and back and forth, and discussing with my friends, I decided to split episode 3 into two. Why? This way, it's a relief for me since episode 3 is.. quite huge, and very long, so splitting it at the "halfway" mark will help me tackle the rest of the episode and also make sure you guys get an episode early without too much time passing between each episode! I've definitely learned tho to shorten the scripts, but alas, here we are! This will mean Episode 3 is a little on the shorter end, but a lot happens in this episode!

Episode 3 is thus renamed to "The Shrine" and Episode 4 is now "Dark Water"

What does this mean tho?
Episode 3 is... almost completely finished actually. I have a tiny bit more left, then it's all done! I'll have some other work I need to do for the episode with the recasting of a character, but that should hopefully not take as long. This means we're looking at a release date of late January/early February if all things go well!

Surprise!
I've been wanting to share a clip for so long, and finally had something exciting to show. This is from scene 3 of episode 3! I've already begun work on scene 4 and hope to get the sketches done very soon. Now this is where the fun begins, since the rest of the episode is not very calm and will have a lot of action. With scene 3 complete, I'm about 1/3rd of the way through Episode 3!
I hope you can all understand this is taking me quite a while to do, but thankfully my team is amazing and help me color and shade the frames, and I can't thank them all enough! Whitefall - Casting Call [Ep3] - CLOSED

Chylk 2021-04-17 | Here we are! A month after Episode 2 was released, here's the casting call for Episode 3. For Episode 3, there are two new characters, and one character that needs a new voice actor. Please read this throughoutly before you audition!

DEADLINE
May 8th

► RULES ◄
- Good audio with minimal or no background noise. Your voice must be clear and able to be understood.
- Do not beg for a part.
- You don't have to ask! Just go ahead and audition if you want to!
- All auditions must be through Youtube, either unlisted (and give me the link) or public.
- Discord is MANDATORY, as it will be the main form of communication.
- Dedication. I do not want to have to replace a voice actor mid-through the series.
- Range of emotion, some characters require less, some more.
- You can audition for as many as you like!

PETIRA
"Pet-eera"
- Major Character (Non/Minor-Recurring)

"Aggressive, spiteful and defensive, Petira is a force to be reckoned with. She doesn't hold back, and her threats usually follows through. She holds a lot of spite for Aleiun after what happened, and it shows."

LINES:
(angry) “You’re all traitors!… After everything we’ve done for you!"
(hissing, spiteful) "Aleiunian* scum… I’ve let you off with enough warnings, yet you still come crawling back here."
(hesitant, on edge) "You reminded me of someone, but I was mistaken."
(caring, strict) "I told you not to go back there, you can't trust their kind..!"

KIJAR
"Key-Jar"
- Minor Character (Minor-Recurring)

"Calm, yet easily put on edge. He cares a lot about his fellow Witches, but he isn't a fighter. He prefers to talk or run from problems, and he dislikes confrontations."

LINES:
(calm) "It's never that simple, it never has been and never will. We didn't have a choice."
(worried) "It’s not too late for you… If we just get out of the forest, maybe things could be different."
(sad/somber) "I don't like to talk about it, what happened back then was.. a tragedy, one that must not be repeated."

JORDIE
"Jor-dee" (J sound similar to the G-sound in "Gentle")
- Major Character (Recurring)

"Calm, calculative and charimastic, Jordie is collected and knows what he wants. Even when taken by surprise, he quickly adapts to turn the situation into his advantage. However, there is a selfish reason behind his actions and deeper thought and personal reasons for what he does. He has an aura of power and authority, often making those around him respect him simply by his appearance. His motives are unknown, but he has an aura of power and respect surronding him. He seems to appear at odd times before disasters strikes, but whenever or not he has anything to do with them is unknown. He is the adoptive father of Lecuny and Resatir."

LINES

(calm) “Tomorrow when dawn breaks, I’ll set out. I'll return when the sun has gone cold."
(angry, strict) "You do understand the amount of grief you just caused? That your actions affect others besides yourself?!”
(sad, soft) “Look out there and tell me that any one of them is glad for what you did.”
(amused, talking to his son and daughter) "You two, eh? Have you been good to your mother?"
(serious) “You remind me a lot of your brother. His stubbornness is remarkable. Yours, is foolish.”

Surprise!
I decided now that scene 3 is almost fully completed, I might as well edit a trailer together (and because I love editing trailers heh)

So, episode 2 is getting closer! I don't think it'll be done in March, but who knows. I've done 3 out of the 5 scenes, but the rest of them are easy and very short. Currently, the episode is over 20 minutes long though. Oops? But- for now, enjoy the trailer!

I got inspired to do this, and was only going to do a tiny part of the song but as I was editing it I said, scre it, lets do more XD I finished this about a week, and I really want to do more impulse PMV's like this tbh, they're fun.

ANYWAY, this is a gift for my friend Icerift Fyera and her series, Aeon! It's amazing and she has completed five episodes already, so go check it out if you haven't already! So, I haven't hosted a MAP in a while and this has been unlisted since April, so thought I'd go ahead and open it to the public! This MAP will be a bit different than my previous ones, and I'll be much less strict with who joins.
