Buddy the little terror, I'm sure his sole purpose today was to get me wet! -3 degrees celcius and he still thinks it's a great idea to get in for a swim. Malamutes know to stay away from the water in the cold becuase their double coat absorbs the moisture and doesn't wick it away like other dogs. They would take too long to dry in the wild so its safer to stay away. Buddy the golden retriever however always has to get in the water yet he'll be the first at the door winging to get in when it's cold outside! This thumbnail looks like a band about to drop their new album haha. Phil looks dapper in his snood to keep his alopecia areas warm too! He still loves the frosty walks.

From before she even arrived the dogs know she was coming, they sensed the pregnancy and eagerly awaited her arrival. They loved her from day dot and vowed to protect her as one of their pack! Even Milo the cat built his own special bond with this new bald puppy! Not long after another wolf entered the pack and the scenes from that first time meeting the baby are so wholesome! Teddy was such a happy puppy to see someone his own size haha. Amelia then met golden retriever Buddy for the first time and her shrieks of glee and happiness are just contagious you can't help but smile. From being born to meeting all the pets, boat trips, snakes/spiders/ birthdays, teaching the dogs manners, first laughs, first steps, travelling to moving house, this kid has seen a lot! Teddy is just a big fluffy puppy really and he just wants to play when he can. Dogs have too be smart and know how they can play with each pack member. Look at how he plays with Grandad or shane compared to how he chases amelia around gently trying to het his ball back! He has some size of mouth and them sharp white teeth when they catch you, sometimes playing rough can escalate but if someone gets hurt he knows and starts licking you. Such a loving dog, he's actually the most obedient and submissive of the 3!

Buddy hopped up beside her while she was watching tv and stayed there. If I didn't ask him to get off the couch he would stay there until she woke up. Amelias First Bike Ride Ever! Giant Majestic Husky Chases Her! Family Days Out Life with Malamutes 2022-12-13 | Today we rode the eletric bike around the countryside with Amelia strapped in her kids seat on the back. Teddy was in toe running majestically following us. We rode all around the lake with the aid of the electric bike we covered nearly 8 miles by the end of it which is a good run for Teddy. Amelia was more enthusiastic than she let on ha. I'm a big fan of the electric bikes to make sure the dogs can get their required excercise in and also so you can cover so much ground in a shorter space of time to fit the rest of the chores in for the day. This is more fun than a chore luckily we take enjoyment from walking the dogs or else we wouldn't have 3! It's so handy to have a van too just so practical and opens up so many opportunities! Shane made it nice and cosy for the dogs and extra passengers in the back and it even has a dog washing facility!What we really want is a @SURRONBikes to challenge the dogs and have some real fun out in the countryside! This Golden retriever meets newborn baby and then he never leaves his side! He follows him everywhere, well he doesn't get very far he gets carried but he's a little shadow. I don't know what it is about all of our dogs but they just go into little fluffy protector mode. It's as if they each take turns on duty, I wonder what they say to each other?? Golden retrievers are superb family pets and Buddy is a prime example, he lays beside every chance he can get! Cheeky dog hops up on the couch behicd your back but when its for such a cute reason you have to let him stay. He does this wholesome move where he just places his head on you as a doggie hug its adorable. He's a very affectionate dog. Luckily the others didn't bark of howl and wake Nathan up this time. This time we have even more fluff! We're a big advocate of this stage, for those of you who have followed the channel before, our dogs know they're expecting change, they sense pregnancy and for Phil and Niko, they've been through this before. Whilst they know and we can anticipate their reaction we like to go through these initial transitional steps. It's important to stay calm, and praise your dog's calm behaviour too. Keep them feeling included rather than pushing them away. and above all else, never leave your dog and your baby unsupervised despite how much you trust them.
