Rant Review Carving for Cara hea booktubes 2024-10-12 | Rant review of Carving for Cara a dark halloween romance novella. I did not know how bad this book would get. The amount of plot for shock value is too much. There are some really strange choices made in this book. I don't recommend. But I do hope you get some entertainment value out of it. I like dark romance so this is not a rant review from someone who doesn't enjoy the genre or subgenre or even the premise and tropes of this book.

This is the first video in a discussion series about some of the discourse that we continue to have in the book community. There is definitely a hierarchy of readers and a hierarchy of genres and there are some genres that are automatically looked down upon by people who don't read them. Romance is not the only genre to have unfair, belittling comments about it, but it is commonly acceptable to make fun of romance.

Rant Review Mermaid Romance hea booktubes 2024-06-29 | Mermaid romance standalone rant review. This paranormal romance rant review was unexpected since I had enjoyed all of the previous books I had read by the author. I don't enjoy mermaid romances in general, but this one had some icky ethical dilemmas that I really didn't appreciate the main character, love interest, and found family being the perpetrators of. Do not recommend, but I hope you enjoy the rant.
