Ascend (Gorbs Theme) - Fallen Warriors Bv_ 2021-08-01 | Gorb. An infamous character in the Hollow Knight community so I decided a grand, almost "epic" theme was needed. I took a small amount of inspiration from the boss theme 'Haunted Foes' from Hollow Knight, which you may hear reference to in the opening section.Regarding Gorb's story, very little is actually known about the character, so I decided for this one, I'd be a little creative:Gorb was a powerful being who contained all the world's knowledge inside his head. However, something happened that caused his brain to swell and push against his skull. This caused him to begin to lose his sanity because of the extreme pain he gained. City of Memories - Hollow Knight/Undertale Remix Bv_ 2021-07-12 | Hollow Knight and Undertale. Two games that have fantastic music in their own rights. One a swelling and clever orchestral score, another a cute, but colourful OST filled with brilliant leitmotifs that are well-used. I wanted to do something that combined my love for both games and both soundtracks. After learning that 'City of Tears' from Hollow Knight and 'Undertale' from Undertale are based around the same chord (Eb sus2), I knew immediately I had to do something with them, and this is where this song was born.I am very pleased with how the music turned out, but of course, without Pharloom's Musician - Gauthier, this piece would not have turned out as it has! Here Lies A Traitor (Xeros Theme) - Fallen Warriors Bv_ 2021-07-08 | Finally, I have finished Xero's theme! I have had a few issues regarding my music software, which delayed this piece being finished by about 2 months, so apologies in case anyone cares :PXero was a great warrior who believed strength and power was the way to ensure a bright and happy future. However, when he became infected by the Radiance, he turned his nails against the Pale King, still fuelled by the same beliefs. He was executed as a result of his violence, and laid to rest in the Resting Grounds above the City of Tears. A Face Carved From Stone (No Eyes Theme) - Fallen Warriors Bv_ 2021-04-05 | No Eyes. Possibly the creepiest character in all of Hollow Knight. Yet her story is very interesting. She hides with her children in the Stone Sanctuary in Greenpath, hidden in the dark from the Radiance. She claws out her own eyes to stop herself from dreaming, protecting herself from the infection. However, this plan failed and she succumbed to the infection. All her children died with her, and her protect her, even in death. When the Knight arrives, carrying the Lumafly Lantern, her darkness is disturbed and she believes the Knight is there to hurt her. She proceed to fight the Knight, with aid of her children. In Isolation and Mediation (Markoths Theme) - Fallen Warriors Bv_ 2021-02-21 | This is the second video in the Fallen Warriors project: In Isolation and MediationMarkoth is a member of the forgotten Moth Tribe, who left to go out into the world. He ended up in Kingdom's Edge alone, for peace and to meditate. He was unfortunately killed, and now kills anything that wanders into his cave. His story is quite elusive, but by following his dialogue in this video, you can hopefully learn a little more! Fungal Wastes - Remix Bv_ 2020-12-16 | Another fantastic region theme by Christopher Larkin for Hollow Knight!This theme was quite difficult to arrange for orchestra, but I hope what I came up with works out OK!I included some different instruments into this arrangement, including an acoustic guitar and a Sawtooth synthesiser to give a different style to the remix.
