I just recently started college so I've been super busy, but I've been working on things artwise, both on the screen and off. That being said, let me present a really personal project to me: Kyoto!This part has actually been in the works for over a year and it holds extreme sentiment to me, relating to the origins of the project and all it took to get me to this point. I endured, and I came out on top still with this to show for it. I'm super proud of the whole thing, especially the frames on the staircase. A Night to Remember Part 6 (Collab w/ Icezy_) [Experiment 42] MistShadow 2024-02-17 | It certainly was a night that was remembered! And hello LPSTube once more.Coming at you with an obscure fandom map part I did for Valentines! If you don't know what Experiment 42 is, the short answer is a series about some young adults with a failed teleportation device that now takes them to different dimensions to help the people living within them. I decided that Fireicorn (Perry and Nina) would be a cute little ship so here it is! I had a lot of fun doing it for multiple reasons, like the fact I used the Stars and Diamonds episode (hehe you see you get it). PING! || Secret Animator for @JaellyBeanz || Animation Meme MistShadow 2024-01-21 | WARNING: THIS VIDEO CONTAINS BLOOD AND FLASHING! VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED I CAN FINALLY SHOW THIS TO YOU GUYS YES! So in late October, I was finally able to get in on @GalaxieFalls 's Secret Animator for 2023-24. What occurs is that GalaxieFalls announces the event and many artists join a server and submit characters. Then, each person who submitted a character is given another artists character to animate. In January, all the pieces come together and are shown in a compilation on GalaxieFalls' channel! Once it has premiered, individuals get the chance to upload their work and with that, here is mine! When I saw who I got, I was gobsmacked and immediately got engulfed in Scorchdrop, the character shown here, and his lore. I'm genuinely so happy to see this all come together. I was planning initially on doing more full movement for the beginning, but since I did not have all the character designs and that would take too long for the given time, I went with silhouette and I think that this worked MUCH better and conveys the story in a really unique way. I had a blast trying things out and seeing what worked to create this piece for the incredible Jaelly Beanz. MistShadows 2023 Animation Reel MistShadow 2023-12-28 | Disclaimer: This video contains fast moving images, flashing images, and blood. Viewer discretion is advised.And that does another amazing year! This year has definitely been a wild ride, notably with the large and much needed break I took between February and June. A lot was going on in my life and I had to step away, but that in turn actually gave me a lot of missing motivation and that push to dedicate myself to the art I loved again. This year I really went into experimenting with different elements of my style, whether that be stylizing the eyes and shapes, new brushes, or even playing with anatomy to create a unique style! I really enjoyed seeing what the outcome would bring. New interests gave that air of experimentation as well, learning to draw robotic parts and practice humanoids. This year marked incredible opportunities in my art, including having my designs being used within a multi-animator project and put into the resource section. You don't understand how much that genuinely means to me, its incredible to see myself there. I also got into a map hosted by an incredible inspiration alongside some of my favorite artists. Thank you guys for everything! I reached 364 subs this year, watch the completion of 9 maps I participated in, complete the hosting of two of my own projects, take some risks with longer parts in maps, and continue to experiment and grow my skills. This was an incredible year for map parts and practicing making my art stand out and be something I can be proud of. I'm so excited to see what the next year brings. Ceilings Part 12 [School Spirits] MistShadow 2023-12-23 | This very well may be my last part of the year, so let's go out with an angsty bang! I absolutely adore School Spirits as a show and have been watching it since it initially dropped on Paramount +. I immediately fell in love with Charley's story of lost love and regret from his actions with Emilio and cried when Emilio finally read the note. It was absolutely beautiful and hey! It had the same palette as the actual map! I really felt this song fit their dynamic before Doomsday was used in the show so hearing Lizzy McAlpine that final episode really made me explode I just adore this show so much! Favorite shot is 100% the last few shots of Charley watching Emilio read the letter, as it is in the show. The transition was super hard but worth it. I experimented a lot with the editing and composition of this one and I think it paid off! It taught me a lot in terms of character movement and cheating tools in my program. It's been an absolute blast of a year and I've enjoyed sharing my work with everyone, even if a lot of the year was dedicated to my personal work. Saint Bernard 2 Part 2 [The Owl House] MistShadow 2023-12-10 | I finished this part a while back, end of November actually but I genuinely forgot to upload it HEY GUYS. Been a month since the last upload because I've been super busy with theater this holiday season. Burn Part 30+31 [Murder Drones] MistShadow 2023-11-11 | HAPPY 2 DAYS PAST GLITCHX. So I was a lil dumb and thought GlitchX was on Saturday but it wasn't so the part is a normal Saturday upload. What better to show than a biscuitbites map part! They're my favorite and I literally will be clinging to the crumbs and copeium we have till Spring. We will all wait and salute it out. This is one of my longer parts in recent memory! I like a lot of shots in this one, but I think the close ups of N and Uzi, both in the sky and in the forest are my favorites. I might lean to the sky shots of the two since they're more dynamic and expressive though. Bringing Us Home Part 14 [Warriors] (BLOOD/GORE WARNING) MistShadow 2023-10-31 | MAJOR WARNING FOR GORE, BLOOD, AND SLIGHT FAST MOVING IMAGES! VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED. Silent Night 13+14 [Personal] MistShadow 2023-01-28 | My first actual animation of 2023 technically! I had finished this just before the end of 2023, but due to some errors and my laptop not working for a bit, I decided to rework and redo sections of the part. Nonetheless, I'm super happy with the outcome, even if Christmas was over a month ago now. This is a slower part, but one of the largest I have done in quite a while. My favorite section is the last section, where my mom is singing to me. I was initially going to make it lip sync, but the soft movement really benefited the part. I am currently recovering from surgery, but I have multiple projects and parts coming! Motivation has been restored and I am on a roll. Sincerely, Me Credits Part 2 [Warriors] MistShadow 2023-01-07 | What is this? Warriors content casually taking my channel over? Don't worry, it won't take completely over, I just got a new fixation. A bit of a late upload because I forgot to post it last Saturday, but I am extremely proud of the results. I enjoy doing warriors content, however I'm not sure how much I will do. It will probably go based on what speaks to me in the moment. Also, yes, a lot of DEH song uploads this past year. What can I say, the soundtrack is great. I really love the shading and editing of the part. Storyboard maps are super fun and it was a joy converting the part to my own style from its initial sketches. Greypaw was my favorite part of the process, without a doubt. I love his pose and editing. Like previously mentioned, I have a new fixation. I've already started on parts relating to it and they will be shown in the coming months. Along with that, currently working on projects relating to TGAMM, Owl House, and, yes, more warriors content. I actually took a bit of a break this year in terms of content, relying more on irl life instead of just art. I love my art, but it was nice to spend time with the people I care about irl. I enjoyed seeing my growth this year, studying shading and color theory to better my skills. Anatomy was another focus this year, one I am very pleased in the results of. With that in mind, however, I was given so many amazing opportunities! I made it into two big warriors projects, got to talk with some long time inspirations, and see the completion of my first map. I’ve reached 330 subs, watched the completion of 18 projects I participated in, helped experiment and collaborate with many artists, and finally, made my first successful thumbnail for another artist’s project. Waving Through A Window Part 26 and 27 [ACA] MistShadow 2022-09-11 | And finally, the part I finished art wise in April and took a really long time to edit. I'm a bit slow, but I managed to finish! It's a bit surprising, but school has kind of reignited my enjoyment of map parts and motivation. Map parts will still be slow for a bit, but I'm gonna be getting into the flow with halloween around the corner. Finch is my character in the ACA, or the Avengers Cat Academy role-play! They are Sam Wilson's apprentice and adopted child. I plan to do a lot regarding Finch and chirps lore, starting with this. This section happens after TFATWS, involving the family that Finch never truly knew or remembered and the tree that brought bee to Sam. That's all I will say for now though hehe. Next upload I'm almost certain will be halloween related, either a halloween map part involving the demons or potentially the map call I've been teasing. Very Good Bad Thing Part 23 [The Ghost and Molly McGee] MistShadow 2022-09-03 | SPOILERS FOR THE TGAMM SEASON 1 FINALE! You have been warned. So uh, heya. It's been a few weeks huh. So sorry for the inactivity, I have had a lot of stuff on my plate. I planned to work on more in the summer and actually post, but I got really sick and wasn't able to focus my time on my work. Now that school is back, however, I actually might be able to upload more now! Okay so, the part! I recently (almost 2 months ago now) got fixated on a silly show in the wake of Amphibia's end and Owl House's season finale. The Ghost and Molly McGee, or TGAMM as I'll call it for the rest of this, took grip of me and I absolutely adore this show. It has great world development and characters arcs as well and I kin Molly a normal amount. I am beyond excited to animate one of my favorite scenes in the show thus far! It was a lot of fun to work on this, even if it took longer than expected. I was actually going to use a FNAF comic BlueyCapsules for the part initially, but I knew exactly what I had to do when I got into TGAMM. The editing and emotions in this part are some of my favorite I have done for any map part thus far. My favorite frame is the book frame because if you notice, I added a little easter egg to it hehe. Now that I am back, I have a bunch of map parts in my stash to upload (One I finished in April, one from July and one I finished art wise in June, but only edited this week). We Dont Talk About Wanda Part 4 [Marvel] MistShadow 2022-02-27 | AY! The first time I've done a marvel part in quite a bit, and I did it with my girl Wanda! She's one of my favorite marvel characters and I have cosplayed her before. A part of me wanted to grab a different part in the map (and have it be like a parallel to one of my first map parts, WYA (see here: youtu.be/dR3hAoB-F9I ) but I ended up doing this one instead! I should really do marvel related stuff again, since that's why I made this channel in the first place! My favorite element of this part is probably the tweening, I really like what I managed to do with the eyes and such an asset limited part. It was fun to experiment and I actually ended up editing it in only about an hour or so, which is different from my usual 2-6 hours (yeah editing takes a long time, especially since my computer is a little bit broken haha). I really like the Doctor Strange frame as well. If you guy pay attention to it, my completed map playlist has grown a little bit while no uploads. That is due to helping with a lot of credits and collabs relating to backgrounds! I've been experimenting a lot in that vein, so if you're interested in seeing my growth in backgrounds, check it out over there! Next upload will either be kinnie arena or aca, a marvel au. I initially took a part with characters, but due to stress I dropped it in favor of a simpler part. I really challenged myself with this background part, getting it done in just the span of two days! The oc used in this video is a kinsona, and their name is Cassiboo. Cassiboo is a character that goes hand in hand with my good friend Tub's character Subbo. The two are platonic partners, but there is a lot of lore for each character alone. I chose to use their struggles as a way to let out emotions without going to much into how I feel. The oc with the beanie is Shep, a guitarist, songwriter, and singer (they/them pronouns). The scene portrayed here is them meeting their future girlfriend, Flake (the one with the microphone; she/they/star). They are some of my comfort ocs and I had a blast making the fruity people being fruity. Thinking about using them more since they are kind of like stress relievers for me, and Shep would 100% play Wilbur Soot music in the rain. WARRIORS - Firestar mini PMV MistShadow 2021-09-11 | Hello! This is a project that I made for school in which we had to search up a name and create a video based around it as a baseline to show our skills in editing! Since the name I chose had to do with warriors, I decided to use Firestar! This was a really fun project to work on and work with! I decided to frame it as a chase through the forest in which Firestar follows a hawk, leading him to the highrock and to where his clan waits for his wise word and decisions. The hawk was definitely the hardest part to draw and I had to cut a lot due to the fact this project was due within the first few days of school, but I'm proud of the final outcome and I hope you like it too! I'm thinking about what I want to do with this channel atm, because I'm currently contemplating rebranding or just changing the aesthetic and how I view it, but I'm just working through that. Hey guys, hope you enjoy this map part, it is pretty personal to me as it is for a vent map. Up until today (Saturday), I've been pretty down but hey I'm feeling good now and that's what's important. I don't need to really explain anything in this, just know I'm doing better now. It took a lot to finish this part, between my computer deciding to delete parts of it and completely mess up the editing, as well as being sick and having a swollen eye the first week of working on it. I really had fun because the concept is basically my friend Piper (SaturnSkyez) being the one behind all of our map part pain and map jail. Seven Nation Army Part 20 [Marvel] MistShadow 2021-01-23 | I broke out of MAProject Jail! I feel powerful So first off, I am super sorry for the audio glitch. iMovie glitched super hard when mixing the quote and audio and I tried to fix it but it didn't work. At least it only affected the part and not the audio itself though. First marvel part in a year! I freaking love Marvel so much and Mysterio is one of my favorite marvel villains to date, so when this map opened, I had to take a part with his amazing illusion scene! This was a lot of fun to edit and I'm pretty proud of the finished product.
