Formula One: Built to Win is a 1990 racing video game for the Nintendo Entertainment System developed by Winky Soft and published by SETA Corporation.

It was one of the first racing games to feature a career mode, multiple vehicles and an opportunity for the player to increase the performance of their in-game car through car tuning, which were unique elements for a racer of the NES era and a genre only truly revisited during the fifth generation of game consoles where games such as Gran Turismo became popular.

Races start out as single-lap events but become double-lap events as the player starts racing against more experienced competition in places like Las Vegas, Nevada and Hawaii. With gameplay similar to Rad Racer and Pole Position, the driver races towards the back of the screen.

The names of the opponents are chosen partially at random; they can also vary because of the ranking level of the course and the type of vehicle used. Like in Rad Racer, the player can supercharge an automobile to go up to 255 miles per hour or 410 kilometres per hour.

Greatest Heavyweights is a boxing video game that was published by Sega in 1993. It was released for the Sega Genesis console. It is a follow-up to Evander Holyfield's Real Deal Boxing, and is virtually identical in many ways, apart from a number of significant improvements.

The game features eight of the most famous and successful heavyweight boxers in history: Muhammad Ali, Jack Dempsey, Joe Frazier, Larry Holmes, Evander Holyfield, Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano, and Floyd Patterson. There are also a total of thirty other imaginary fighters present in the game. The cartridge supports the six-button control pad (an improvement over the controller options of its predecessor).

Mazin Saga: Mutant Fighter is a 1993 hybrid beat 'em up/fighting video game developed by Almanic Corporation, in conjunction with ALU and Team "Saga", and published by Vic Tokai for the Sega Genesis in North American and later in Japan and Europe by Sega. Based upon Go Nagai's MazinSaga mecha manga, which is considered a combination of Nagai's Mazinger and Devilman franchises, players assume the role of Koji Kabuto wielding the Mazinger Z armor to fight against powerful 'Bio Beasts' led by God Kaiser Hell. Co-directed by Satsuki Mizuno, Takashi Yoneda and "Tommy Bon Bon", the title was created by most of the same team that worked on previous projects at Almanic such as E.V.O.: Search for Eden. Hang-On is an arcade racing game released by Sega in 1985 and later ported to the Master System. In the game, the player controls a motorcycle against time and other computer-controlled bikes. It was one of the first arcade games to use 16-bit graphics and uses the Super Scaler arcade system board, created with design input from Yu Suzuki, as technology to simulate 3D effects. The deluxe cabinet version also introduced a motion-controlled arcade cabinet, where the player's body movement on a large motorbike-shaped cabinet corresponds with the player character's movements on screen.

Darius Alpha is a promotional version of Darius Plus released in 1990 for the PC Engine. It was a mail-order exclusive, obtainable by sending in a pair of coupons found in the manuals of Super Darius and Darius Plus. There were only 800 copies of the card produced, making it one of the rarest, and the absolute most expensive, PC Engine HuCard ever made. This version is only a Boss Rush, where the player faces against all Plus bosses one after another.

Like Plus, Alpha features SuperGrafx support, which greatly reduces sprite flickering.

Street Fighter 2010: The Final Fight is a cyberpunk side-scrolling action platform game developed and published by Capcom for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1990. It was marketed as a science-fiction-themed spin-off to the 1987 arcade game Street Fighter. Its English localization changed the name and backstory of the main character to imply that he was Ken from Street Fighter, whereas the protagonist in the original Japanese version is a completely unrelated character named Kevin. All localizations of Street Fighter 2010 are a different genre from the traditional Street Fighter games, which are one-on-one fighting games.

Tobal No. 1 (トバルナンバーワン, Tobaru Nanbā Wan) is a fighting video game for the PlayStation developed by DreamFactory and published by Square in 1996. The game was DreamFactory's first release, as well as Square's first release on the CD-based console.

Tobal No. 1 marks Square's first incursion into the fighting game genre, although an adventure-like quest mode is part of the game. The game's mechanics were designed with the aid of fighter game designer Seiichi Ishii, while all the characters were designed by Akira Toriyama of Dragon Ball fame. The sequel, Tobal 2, was never released in North America and Europe.

Packaged with both the North American and Japanese version of the game was a sampler disc featuring a pre-release playable demo of Final Fantasy VII and video previews of Final Fantasy Tactics, Bushido Blade, and SaGa Frontier.

The Speed Rumbler, known as Rush & Crash (ラッシュアンドクラッシュ Rasshu ando Kurasshu?) in Japan, is a 1986 Japanese arcade game that was released in North America a bit later the same year. A port is included in Capcom Classics Collection Vol. 2 for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox.

In 21st Century America, there exists a gang of terrorists known as Zapper (ザッパー Zappā?), dedicated to attacking peaceful towns simply because they want to do their best committing crimes. In one of their raids they attack the home town of the main character, Top (トップ Toppu?)[1][2] (named Super Joe in English[3] and given no name in Europe[4]), and kidnap their wife, children and all other townspeople. A Special Forces soldier, Top embarks on a rescue mission to save everyone and bring peace back to his home town. Commanding an armored Pursuit Vehicle AMT (Armor Transom) (追撃用車輌AMT( アーマートランサム) Tsuigeki-yō Sharyō Āmā Toransamu?) outfitted with guns, Top must blast his way through enemy areas while on the rescue mission. If the vehicle takes too much damage, Top can hop out and continue the fight on foot.

Night Slashers (ナイトスラッシャーズ) is a 1993 beat'em up arcade game developed and published by Data East.

Night Slashers is similar to Capcom's Final Fight and SEGA's Streets Of Rage's series, which is an archetypal side scrolling beat'em-up game. One, two or three players/characters move from left to right through each level (most of which are split into three or more scenes), fighting with the enemy characters who appear, until they reach a confrontation with a stronger boss character at the end of the level. Once that boss is beaten, the players automatically move on to the next stage. Enemies appear from both sides of the screen and from out of doorways or entrances set into the background, and the player(s) must defeat all of them to progress. If the players try to simply travel through the levels without fighting, the screen will stop scrolling until all current enemies have been defeated, before allowing the players to continue progress. Enemies may move outside the confines of the screen, but players may not. There is a time limit to each stage.

Unlike Final Fight, Night Slashers features three characters with larger move sets (including "smart bomb" or "screen zapper" type moves) and a horror theme. During the course of the game, players fight through hordes of attacking zombies and mutants, as well as other monsters such as werewolves and elementals. Bosses also include monsters such as a mummy, a golem, a mad scientist, and lookalikes of Count Dracula, Death the Grim Reaper and Frankenstein's monster. Players fight these enemies and bosses to stop the evil plans of King Zarutz from turning our planet into a worldwide kingdom for the dead. What separates this game from other beat'em ups is that the enemies' names are never listed on their health bars when fighting them.

In the Japanese version, the blood and gore is uncensored (red blood instead of green, but in the overseas version, there is an option to adjust the blood color and the violence level). At the end of a melee attack, Christopher holds out a cross instead of a blue crystal ball. The "Go" arrow flips over to read "To Hell!" in blood. There are extra pictures and dialogue in the cutscenes.

Front Line is a military-themed run-and-gun shooter game released by Taito for arcades in 1982. It was one of the first overhead run-and-gun shooters, a precursor to many similarly-themed games of the mid-to-late 1980s. The original arcade version of Front Line is controlled with a joystick, a single button, and a rotary dial that can be pushed in like a button. The single button is used to throw grenades and to enter and exit tanks, while the rotary dial controls and fires the player's gun.
