Centralia, IL - Police Dept. - Officer-involved Crash Southern Illinois Public Observers 2019-03-19 | Southern Illinois Public ObserversIn the course of investigating a bomb threat at the Centralia High School in Centralia, IL, during full lock-down of the campus, an officer saw an unidentified white car driving in the parking lot and attempted to intercept it to ascertain what the driver was doing. The police report indicates that Patrol Officer Billy White lost sight of the white car while trying to catch up to it. Apparently, the driver of the white car made a turn to cross the path of the patrol vehicle while the white car was out of the sight of the officer attempting to catch it. Moore, OK - Man driving stolen truck livestreams Oklahoma police chase Southern Illinois Public Observers 2017-11-11 | Southern Illinois Public ObserversMoore, OK -- A man named Brenton Hager identified himself in a Facebook Live streaming video as the suspect who led Oklahoma City police officers on an hours-long chase.Hager led officers on a lengthy high-speed chase in a stolen truck through southwest Oklahoma City and Moore.The truck lost its trailer while he was driving through a field. Hager also stopped near Southwest 164th and Cold Fire Road, where he removed a box from the bed of the truck.A citizen was then seen in aerial video blocking Hager and firing shots at the truck's tires. Hager stopped the truck in a field near Indian Hills and Penn. where he refused to get out and became involved in a standoff with police.
