Lisanne me recuerda a mi hermana.
*******************************************************************
Letra de la canción holandesa:
No existe tal cosa como decir adiós.
Me voy, pero no te dejaré
Querida tienes que creerme
Aunque duela.
Me gusta que me dejes ir
Y que volverás a continuar mañana.
Pero si estás solo o asustado
Voy a estar allí.
No importa dónde estés
Hagas lo que hagas, dondequiera que vayas
Si me necesitas, solo susurra mi nombre
y estaré allí
No existe tal cosa como decir adios
All the publicly known photos are here, in the correct order (verified with ImperfectPlan - this happened after I uploaded the above video, sigh..): koudekaas.blogspot.com/2019/12/the-disappearance-of-kris-kremers-and_11.html There are more photos, but they are being held back by the families, authorities and by the people (authors/sleuths) who also have copies of them through the case files; they do not want to publish them. My blog about this disappearance case: koudekaas.blogspot.com
Recently my original version of this video was blocked by Youtube. It had been up for over three years without issue, using two songs: 'Wonderful Life' from Black and 'The Curse' from Agnes Obel. It is that 2nd song which has been flagged by PIAS music. A real shame, as it is a very fitting song many believe. I reuploaded the video with a different song here, something rather obscure. The two blocked videos had hundreds of comments and discussions below it. I have screen saved many of them and uploaded them on my blog. I know that people are invested in this case and often made an effort and used their time to comment, so it feels a shame to just see all those comments gone now. You can find them here: koudekaas.blogspot.com/2017/03/rest.html

MORE INFO:
-These photos were partly published by the families, by the authorities and in the media over time. There are still some photos left which have not been made public. They include some photos on the Pianista (a few selfies and landscapes, similar to the photos we do have) and a couple of night photos that are almost entirely black. People who have seen them all, including the families, Imperfect Plan & Jeremy Kryt, have verified that there is nothing of interest to be seen on those photos other than blackness and some droplets.
-The night photos were leaked to Juan and then to me. Versions with a date and time stamps on them, and identical versions without the time stamps. The daytime photos that were leaked do not have this info stamped on them.
-Many of the night photos were brightened and/or rotated with a Photoshop type of program. This is a verified fact, first discovered by Juan and later confirmed by even Pitti and her team. This was done in Panama on June 17th, a few days before the camera and SD card were sent to the Dutch NFI, to do the first forensic investigation, which Pitti had delegated to them. We therefore know that the photo originals were manipulated to some extent by the case authorities in Panama, if only out of curiosity. We do not know to which extent they photoshopped them, or if they are perhaps responsible for the thoroughly deleted file 509.
-The Canon camera was still set to 2013 instead of 2014, and was also 6 hours off. This was confirmed by police, who had to recalculate the time and who did so based on coordinating the photo times of the mobile phone photos and based on the time seen on a wristwatch pictured on one of the photos, reportedly. The camera was set to London time (GMT), which was six hours ahead of Panama on April 1st of 2014. Kris and Lisanne seem to have never adjusted the time when arriving in Panama and neither did they change its 2013 setting to 2014.
-Please keep this in mind however: We don't have the evidence that police recalculated these times correctly. Even the times police came up with do not match with the many witness testimonies. Read my blog or check Juan's channels for more info about all this.
-Kris and Lisanne seem to have simply only pressed the photo taking button on their digital Canon Powershot SX270HS camera with battery and without a lens cap They did not reset the correct time or date and they also did not change photo taking settings.

Power-Pixie purchased the same Samsung SG3 Mini model which Lisanne used. Here he tested dialing the emergency number on the Samsung with no service shows, while the phone had no SIM card or Wi-Fi connection. "This 2012 phone connected instantly! The Samsung phone is incredible and works better than the iPhone 4 at times. Both phones connect to Emergency services without Wi-Fi connection, cellular network connection or (connected) SIM cards in them, when I did not expect them to connect. It just depends on how many times you try and how close you are to cell towers."
For us, this sheds a very different light on the usage of the iPhone during the first eleven days of their disappearance, especially the 2nd day. Read the full update on the camera, the phones and the night photos here: koudekaas.blogspot.com/2019/02/part-4-with-latest-updates-on.html
Power-Pixie purchased the same iPhone4 model which Kris used. Here he tested dialing the emergency number on the iPhone with no service shows. The video shows how to make an emergency call with it, without entering a passcode, without a SIM card inserted and without Wi-Fi or a means to connect to the network. "I tapped 112 from the call history again. It started with the same message "Emergency Call - calling..." and then it connected!!! I heard a voice on the other end of the line that announced they were emergency services and what is my emergency. Since I did not expect to connect and it was not on speaker phone, I froze in surprise and 30 seconds later the call was disconnected. I feel like a total schmuck now. Maybe they will think it was pocket-dialed since only the hum of my heater can be heard. But anyways, IT CONNECTED on a second try, with an old, disconnected SIM card in the phone**, with 3G turned OFF and after unlocking the SIM (not that unlocking the SIM needed to be done). I did not see the 112 call logged on my laptop screen unlike the "call failed" message. I don't know why at this point."
For us, this sheds a very different light on the usage of the iPhone during the first eleven days of their disappearance, especially the 2nd day. Power-Pixie purchased the same Samsung SG3 Mini model which Lisanne used. Here he tested the battery performance of the Samsung phone. "It will help shed some light on how the battery performs as it gets down to the final 18%. I decided to try an experiment with my phones video function - three tests I took using the video-record for 5 minutes each time. The results were varied, but amazingly the average battery drain was between 3-5%. Much lower than I had expected. The snag is that over the three hours from 10.40 am to 13.40pm, Lisanne's Samsung phone had used just 8%. And three hours later, from 13.40pm to 16.51pm, it has used an additional 19%. Without any background apps shown in the phone logs. So: unexplained."

Power-Pixie also purchased the specific phones which Kris and Lisanne possessed and used in Panama: the Samsung Galaxy S3 mini and the iPhone 4. He tested how much light producing capacity both phones have. Keep in mind that according to the NFI who (arguably) worked with the original phones and their phone logs, and ImperfectPlan who had access to a copy of their findings, there is no known phone log data that shows the use of the phone's flashlight function during or after April 1st 2014. So this is just a theoretical experiment out of curiosity, in extension of the main test of the Canon camera's light producing features. Because we wonder why Kris and Lisanne sat in the dark supposedly for a whole week, without ever using the flash or torch functions. And we wonder how several night photos were taken, including the one with the "SOS" sign and the plastic on sticks. Because both would have had to have been staged in the pitch dark. So how likely is it that Kris and Lisanne/the photographer used a light source to create those scenes?
This video shows just how easy the flashlight can be found on both mobile phones. Both phones had an inbuilt camera flash option. On the iPhone 4 you don't need to use a passcode, as you can access the camera app directly from the icon that shows up on the main screen. (along with Video, Photo and Square options). As for the Samsung, Lisanne never had a passcode. Just swipe and access. Lisanne's and Kris' first immediate extension to the outside world were these phones. Both girls were very familiar with their phones and used them all the time before their disappearance. And yet, it is highly unlikely that the phones were used as serious light sources for Kris and Lisanne, since there is no phone log info that supports this. And we also know through the phone logs how little these phones were powered on at all between April 1st-11th. The fact these flashlights were so easy to use on both phones, but were not even activated during their first night out there continues to surprise us.

Both Power-Pixie and Dave M. purchased the exact type of Canon camera which Lisanne and Kris also used; the Canon Powershot SX270HS camera. During this test experiment, Power-Pixie stayed up in the dark of night, out in the back of secluded cabin in the woods and he tested the strength of the camera's flash output plus the camera’s auto-focus green light that comes up when pressing the shutter button. Could Kris and Lisanne have looked around them for wild animals or intruders with the help of the green light? We were interested in discovering just how much Kris and Lisanne would have been able to see at night when using the camera's flash or auto-focus green light. And which of the two is a better light source. Was the momentary flash enough to set up the so called "SOS" scene with paper and the pringles can, or photo #550 with the red plastic attached to sticks? Because both those scenes would have needed some setup time and how did they do so in the pitch dark? And how could the photographer then frame those scenes as perfectly as was done in those photos? Were these lucky shots, or did the photographer have a way to first light up the scene? And IF we assume for a moment that they used the auto-focus green light for illumination, how realistic is it then to assume they did so without ever taking an accidental fluke photo in the process? Because we know of none such photos within the April 8th nighttime photo group. How sensitive is the shutter button? Could the use of the flash in the night photos have been the unwanted outcome of trying to press the button just enough to get the green light to shine? And how about the Canon cameras' Photo Review screen feature? And its option to show an earlier made photo on its search screen? Could the light from such a daytime photo like photo 508 have served as a light source?

Power-Pixie created this photo montage, allowing you to go through the night photo sequence in real time. Many thanks to him. Dave added the rain fall soundtrack, since it was raining that early Tuesday morning. Many people who have carefully followed this unsolved disappearance case of Kris Kremers and Lisanne Froon will already know what the night photos look like and at which exact times they were shot on April 8th 2014. But this video allows you to experience the night photo sequence exactly as they were (claimed to have been) taken*. For those interested in such a thing, it makes it all more immersive and allows you to get a real feeling of the time the photographer sat outside in the rain, making the (often bizarre seeming) photographic choices he/she did. Yes it is a long sitting to watch it all, but especially the length of the periods in which no photos were taken becomes extra obvious when you watch it as if you were there.
*Keep in mind though that this is simply a visualization of the sequence of night photos as they are claimed to have been taken. We have to rely on other parties here. First of all on investigators such as Imperfect Plan and Jeremy Kryt, who have copies of these photos in their possession and who have written about them and confirming that these photos are the actual ones that are in the file cases. They also confirmed their EXIF data and stated that the few photos that were not either leaked or published, do in fact fit in and show nothing of interest; just more darkness and reflecting waterdrops. On the other hand we have to trust the Dutch NFI, who investigated the camera and phones and who hopefully have made sure that their EXIF data are correct and unaltered and not manipulated. But I am a little but doubtful still, considering it was Betzaida Pittí and her team in David who first handled that camera and those phones on June 17th 2014. Before sending them to the NFI. And we know that on that same date, night photos were viewed in a photoshop program and some were brightened and rotated, at the very least. I still don't know if that is really all that was done to them and I certainly do not trust Pittí. But this video shows the official narrative regarding these night photos. It is up to everyone of you to decide what to think of this representation and narrative.

This is a very rudimentary video and obviously the podcast series itself is a thousand times better, giving you that immersive feeling of being taken on a journey. So please check it out at apple podcasts or kastmedia. I'm not really a youtube content maker. I rather write on my blog koudekaas.blogspot.com
*I wrote out 'Bandida' for the youth gang, but have been corrected by now by Mike Moreno and in fact Mariana says "pandilla" (which is the normal word for gang). My apologies for the mistake, I don't speak Spanish. Also apologies btw for butchering the beautiful English language here and there, as a non native.
I was surprised this podcast hasn't gotten more exposure so far in the media. And I received quite a few messages and comments lately about whether or not I have listened to the podcast and what my thoughts are, so that's why I put these two summary and commentary videos up. Everything is done in my free time and without monetizing any of it. So it is purely out of interest that I post this stuff.
Thanks to Jeremy Kryt, Martin Ferrara O'Donnell and the team for this podcast series, which was well made, professional and had a lot of new info. Also a big thumbs up to several people who have been great conversationalists and supporters over these past years when it comes to discussing this case. Power-Pixie, Dave M, Juan, Matt. Also always happy to read new articled from Imperfect Plan, or see new videos from all sorts of content makers. (Just no Pittí-PR videos, please). Also very kind of one of the producers of the Lost in Panama podcast to contact me about mentioning my work as a source, and for linking to my blog. Much appreciated. Thank again for this very insightful podcast series.

A private detective who was hired by rich expats in Boquete already went round in the same week when Kris and Lisanne had disappeared, mere days after April 1st. He interviewed the residents living on the trail and came with the same statements as you can now see being repeated on local camera later on. Lee Zeltzer also went there to interview locals. They came up with eye witness statements, who mostly all saw the girls either get out of the taxi, or walk up or around the Pianista trail on April 1st between roughly 14:00 and 16:00 PM. Which matches with the statement of the - soon dead - taxi driver, who declared that he picked Kris and Lisanne up around 13:30 PM and dropped them off at the start of the trail around 13:45 PM. A witness also confirmed this and saw the girls waiting for the taxi at the side of the road close to 13:30 PM. But note that none of the witnesses support the times of the EXIF data of the photos (the 'new timeline', established after the discovery of the backpack with the phones and camera). Nobody has claimed to have seen Kris and Lisanne on the Pianista trail at or around 11:00 AM. People only claimed to have seen them later in the afternoon, matching the initial 'old timeline'. This is puzzling.
Unfortunately written statements are not included in this video. Statements made about the red truck for instance, or the witness statement from Marcus M., or from those who saw K+L supposedly talking with locals about going to the waterfall. But you can read all about it on my blog, in particular here: koudekaas.blogspot.com/2021/03/i-had-interesting-chat-with-technical.html
Remember that since nobody was properly investigated, everyone is innocent until proven otherwise. But critical questions should always be allowed to be asked out loud.

DENVER HUMPHREY: "The thing which does really concern me, is that it's the same pattern, and the same belief that the police are doing all they can. Whereas in fact all they do is produce thick reports. So I don't have much fate in the Panamanian police. They are very good at appearing active, but in fact are very low on results." "One of things they did, is that they found a badly burned body. We had given DNA samples. It took them 12 months to proof that that body wasn't our son. -So 12 months you were thinking... 'It could be. Yeh. 12 months".
A private detective managed to gather more information than the police could. Denver believes that help from your own country is essential. 'In Panama it is my impression, that policing is 20 years behind anything in Europe. They don't have the technical abilities. They don't have the foresight and intelligence to follow things in the way in which I know the Dutch police do very successfully.' Manchester police wanted to travel to Panama, to help with the search, but were refused to do so by Panamanian authorities. 'They were stopped'. Several times. 'Yes. Nobody could change their mind.' And the embassy's couldn't help on that, or wouldn't help on that. I have every reason to suspect that the same is happening now with the Dutch police.'
But Dutch police says in a reaction, that they for now have no reason to travel to Panama. 'We have seen what they [the authorities] do there, and how they do it. That's going perfect. We have trust that they have done everything that's in their power... And that we ourselves cannot do a better job. So for us, there is no reason to go to Panama."

Arjen Kamphuis, 47, an expert on cyber security and espionage, an author of 'Information Security for Journalists' and a Wikileaks associate, disappeared on August 20th, 2018 while allegedly kayaking in Norway. His body has never been found.
Kamphuis was something of a celebrity in the cyber security world, and well-known among journalists and activists, training them on opsec and providing them with stripped-down devices for secure communications. He is considered an authority on cyber security and espionage. His book 'Information Security for Journalists' is one of the most comprehensive manuals for journalists on how to protect themselves online.
Kamphuis suddenly disappeared on August 20th, 2018. He was last seen checking out of his hotel in Bodo in the north of Norway. Ten days after his disappearance, his cell phone unexpectedly made contact with radio towers in southern Norway, near the town of Vikesa. His phone was active for 20 minutes, after which the SIM card was removed and a German SIM was placed in the device. Three weeks after his disappearance, his kayak, his identity card, and other personal items were found in a fjord near Mount Kvænflåget, north of Rognan. Witnesses reported seeing Kamphuis in Sweden, Denmark, Germany and Norway, but none of these sightings could be confirmed.
Police think that one of three things happened to Kamphuis - he was involved in an accident, he fell victim to a crime, or he went into hiding himself. Nearly 4 years later, there is still no sign of the man.
Hi everyone, sorry for this ramble. I will keep the comments open for now but please, if you do want to discuss things, keep it civilized. The guide chose to appear in all sorts of interviews in the past and people have been pretty honest in their comments under those videos, but I reckon he did not cooperate with this book, so keep it well-argued and not just a slanging match. Unfortunately the last sentence in my audio/video was cut off, I said: Anyway, if you found this interesting, please check out the written out version on my blog, there is a direct link in the info below the video. And have a good night everyone.'

! It is wrong and horrible to threaten someone who is always innocent until proven otherwise. Stop that and leave this man alone in his life and on his socials. It is the poor investigation that is to blame for the info vacuum this case has gotten stuck in. But critical questions should always be allowed to be asked out loud.

! Pls. don't be a douche or voleur and provide a source link for my blog or youtube channel if you use the research there or the videos with English translation. The fact that I even have to write this shows that some people use everything and present it as their own, unfortunately. It took me months to create. Give some credit, just like you yourself like to get credit for your hard work.

My blog about this disappearance case: koudekaas.blogspot.com
I realize that the terrain behind the Pianista trail is no walk in the park, but the way in which Betzaida "They Got Lost" Pitti describes the place here as a poisonous thick jungle full of snakes in every tree is a bit... extreme. Footage from the terrain shows it also has many open fields where cattle is held (who does that in the thick of a jungle?); it has farms, villages, shallow rocky rivers and agriculture. But she makes it sound like the Darién Gap. Perhaps she does this to distract from the possibility that the girls met foul play. A lot of drama also regarding the "dangerous" murderous river. Pitti will later describe it as a bone grinder of a river. Which... was at the time low on water and current force. Be aware that some people will prefer to show this river at the very height of the rain season however, which is not at all what it looked in the week(s) when Kris and Lisanne disappeared, in an unusual dry period before the rain season.

For the record: Any form of harassing of him or other people linked to the investigation of this case is objectionable and not OK. The poor investigation is to blame for the fact that some potential persons of interest never got a fair check and exoneration.

In this analysis of the Answers for Kris reconstruction hike of Kris' parents [youtube.com/watch?v=cF_9AfrKWKg&list=PLDldKFcWBW3oKYfjz8zvNGa9U6ezj-rvk&index=1], some interesting things are said by journalist Jildou van Opzeeland. "Yes it is remarkable really that the parents are making this reconstruction themselves. It should really be the task of the police to do this. What we do know is that the authorities in Panama have walked the Pianista as well last week. They then found new bone remains of the girls. The parents had to hear about this news through the media by the way. Officially they still have not been informed about this."
"It looks a bit like.... what the parents also told me, that whenever they go to Panama, the searches are suddenly started again. And the moment they are physically there in Panama, there is suddenly pressure again to do something. And then the authorities are ushered to take action again.
But I don't believe that the relations are very good, if you [have to] make your own reconstruction. And the strange thing is also, and you can see this on the footage, that the official search team passes the Kremers family at some point. But they don't speak a word with one another. They don't even wave at each other or acknowledge the other."
"They had a meeting last week with the prosecutor [Pitti?] and not even there they were told about new bone remnants that were found. And now it is leaked again in the media.. "

Thanks to Juan for finding and sharing this video. "Boquete, is the name of that village in Panama where Kris and Lisanne disappeared. Initially the village was portrayed as touristic, but on closer inspection it looks like the Dutch women ended up in a drug den where police do not have the means to tackle the criminality. And neither has the means to properly investigate the disappearance of Kris and Lisanne." Interviews with Manuel Burac, forest supervisor in Boquete, Caesar Sherrard, president Alto Al Crimen in Boquete and former police chef Erik Westra who lives close to Boquete.
