100 Year Old Station where High Speed Trains Reverse 中国最美火车站？ The China Traveller 2023-04-26 | Take a journey with me as I visit Qinglongqiao Station, a train station frozen in time along the S2 Line, Beijing's suburban railway, amidst the city's rural mountains. The station is over a Century old, and is still in use today, though passengers cannot alight when the train pulls in. Today, the station is an industrial heritage site and serves as a switchback junction for trains travelling along the S2 Line. The S2 Train Line, China’s Most Picturesque Railway (for 4 Weeks a Year!) The China Traveller 2023-04-12 | All aboard! Join me as I travel along Beijing's S2 Line, on the Hexie Great Wall Train, which runs along the old Beijing-Zhangjiakou railway, beside several sections of the Great Wall of China. It's an incredibly popular route all year round, but especially for about 4 weeks during Beijing's spring time, when the route becomes surrounded by peach and apricot blossom growing on the mountainside. There is a special viewing carriage aboard the train, with gigantic windows, and on its way to and from the rural suburbs of Beijing, it reverses along the line's famous zig-zag rail, and stops off at the historic Qinglongqiao Station. You Wont Believe Whats Inside Chinas GREEN DUMPLINGS 网红青团好吃吗？ The China Traveller 2023-04-04 | Yes... GREEN DUMPLINGS! Or qingtuan to be more precise. They're eaten during China's Qingming Festival (April 5), with the green colour symbolising the arrival of Spring, and despite being a traditional food, in recent years you can get hold of some really funky flavours! I sent some of the most interesting flavoured qingtuan to my mom and dad in the UK, to see what they think. This isn't the only kind of food eaten during this period.
