I learned a lot about who I am as a reader and what I want from a book. Apparently its good sentences, self reference, and great sex scenes! In 2021 I read 98 books and here are my 20 favorites. Of these 20:15 are fiction and 5 are non fiction (I mistakenly put Simple Passion with the fiction. It’s a memoir. reading vlog: two ghost stories about grief Rebecca Eats Books 2021-07-27 | In which I finally got around to editing and posting this vlog I recorded over 4th of July weekend. I read two new releases with women at the center who were grappling with the death of loved ones, being the children of Chinese immigrants, and the physical and emotional distances between the generations. One memoir, one fiction. I also bake, go used book shopping and bring home 10 books I definitely did not need, unhaul some books from my own shelves, sit by the beach, and force you to look at my garden with me.
