Kitbashing a MINISTORUM PRIEST for my Sisters of Battle/Adepta Sororitas Army! Slayer Miniatures 2024-10-17 | In this video i show you the tips, tricks and kitbashing techniques i used to kitbash my own custom conversion of a Sister of Battle/Adepta Sororitas Ministorum Priest which will be going in my new Warhammer 40000 40k army. I made the COOLEST Warhammer Objective Marker ever! Slayer Miniatures 2022-01-12 | In this video I show you how to paint up an Objective Marker from the Space Hulk Tabletop board game. This is possibly the most expensive objective marker in the Warhammer universe. But it is definitely the coolest!I paint it in a Grimdark style, it is a fallen space marine Blood Angel Terminator. This Nighthaunt Army was part of my pile of shame and the painting challenge was used as painting motivation to paint these amazing miniatures. It took me approximately 24hrs to Build, Paint and Part base them, I took an extra hour add to some of the bases. I managed this feat by speed painting/batch painting the entire army - painting models and focusing on the same colours on each model until they were all done. This way of painting is super efficient and quick! I used a mixture of Citadel Contrast Paints to lay down some base layers of colour, over a zenithal highlight colour. I then used some Enamel Paints, some Oils paints and Citadel Technical paints to weather the models and make them look grimy and more realistic - ie Grimdark. This style is also called Blanchitsu, which is named after the legendary Warhammer Artist John Blanche. I then used a selection of Inks to do an OSL – object source lighting effect/ glow effect on the models with flames or candles.If you like the guide then please subscribe! This way of painting is super efficient and quick! I then used some Enamel Paints and Some Oils paints to weather the models and make them look grimy and more realistic - ie Grimdark. In this video I speed paint 5 Death Guard Plague Marines using mainly Games Workshop contrast paints and AK Interactive's Streaking Grime in the Pallid Hand scheme. Its super fun and very simple to follow, so why not try yourself? It only took approximately 1.5hrs to paint a 5 man squad - not including drying time. I use an airbrush for the base cost and zenithal highlight, but this could easily be done with spray cans or by hand painting.At the end of the video is an optional extra where I used a Black Oil Paint wash and Rust Wash to add extra weathering to the model. The result of this technique is the Grimdark and Grimy look that goes well with Death Guard. I have used this same technique to paint Mortarion, Deathshroud and Terminators. FREE basing materials for your miniatures!! Slayer Miniatures 2021-01-14 | This is my step-by-step guide on how to make free basing material for use in dioramas and for basing miniatures. This was all done with used Tea Bags. This is budget friendly and great for beginners!Tea is made up of dried Tea leaves. Some other teas have flowers, petals, sticks, zest and bark in them. It all depends on the ingredients and flavour of the tea. The method is very simple; simply dry-out the tea leaf matter inside the bags and use it for basing! It can also be used as a base where you mix in flock to make your own base mix.I used this technique to make the material to base all my Overgrown Necrons (check out my other videos for guides on those) in Warhammer 40,000.
