How to use Geometry nodes to make grass move with field in Blender 3.0 ItsJustChris 2022-02-20 | Hello, this is a Blender 3.0 tutorial on making a dynamic field. This is not an animation tutorial and your grass won't move like it does when the wind blows although you might be able to do that in this method. What I'm talking about is when the ground changes the grass will move with it.We will be creating a field where you can change the size, hilliness, pattern and position with geometry nodes. On top of that we'll be making grass and using geometry nodes to alter where the grass sits on the ground, how much grass you have, what different areas you want your grass in, methods to minimise clipping. On top of that no matter how you change the size or position or geometry of the ground, the grass and other objects like flowers will stay in position and attached to the grass!This method has lots of potential and the things I've listed is only some of things you can do with this method. This is a follow up video on my video: How To Import The CSGO Maps Into UE4 Without HammUEr which can be found through the link below.(youtu.be/pX2ddaJzFHw)If you haven't' seen my channel before it may be worth sticking around if you are experiencing the same issues as I've described below as my solutions may help you.In this video I fix two common issues that can happen when import the CSGO maps into Unreal Engine 4.The first issue being; whilst importing the map into Unreal Engine 4 (as a level) the progress bar seems to freeze at a certain point which eventually crashes. It is normal for the progress bar to get stuck, however it becomes a problem if it ends up making Unreal Engine crash.The second issue:After importing the map successfully, it's evident that all the textures are white, both on the map and when looking at the materials individually through the content browser and blueprints.
