Tahnee Cain And Tryanglz - The Tech Noir Album: REMASTERED *1984* [The Terminator Soundtrack] Anthonys Channel 2025-04-15 | [Melodic Rock/Synth Rock/Hard Rock/AOR/Metal/Glam Metal] In honor of "The Terminator" 's 40th anniversary, here is the remastered edition to one of my most viral videos found on my channel: The Tech Noir Album by Tahnee Cain And Tryanglz. This video includes all of the tracks that were originally found on my OG version, plus THREE ADDITIONAL UNRELEASED BONUS SONGS from Tane's 1985 recording archives: "It Ain't Enough" (Track 5), "Tryanglz" (Track 8), and "Unchained" (Track 9). All of which has been digitally remastered & enhanced by my brother Andy Morales. Also in collaboration on this project is 3D Artist & Visualizer Scott Owen whom painstakingly made a 100% film accurate 3D model replica of the entire Tech Noir nightclub in UE4 (Unreal Engine 4). Tahnee Cain (Tané Cain) And The Tryanglz 's music was commonly used throughout the Tech-Noir club scenes in James Cameron's 1984 hit film: "The Terminator". Only three tracks can be heard within the film: "PhotoPlay" (Track 1), "You Can't Do That" (Track 6), and "Burnin' In The Third Degree" (Track 12). The rest of the tracks are unreleased demos that were planned to be released in 1985 by the group but sadly that never came to materialize. Tané Cain was born Tané M. McClure on June 8th, 1958 in Los Angeles County, California. She is the daughter of actor Doug McClure & Faye Brash (the first of his five wives). She recorded her first single, "Redwood City", in the late 1970s, and soon thereafter she met The Babys and Journey keyboardist Jonathan Cain, whom she eventually married (they are no longer together). After marrying, they both moved to Los Angeles where she landed a record deal in 1982 and released a self-titled (using her married name Tané Cain) album on RCA Records. The album did not sell as well as the label had hoped (peaking at number 121 on the Billboard album chart), and she was dropped, never to release another album until her contributions to: "The Terminator" film with the Tryanglz. Strangely enough, she changed her name to Tahnee Cain when she performed with the Tryanglz for reasons unknown; Maybe the change in name was her trying to shift her image to be more distinguished since her voice definitely gives off a very similar Pat Benatar vibe. Never the less, in 1984 she recorded all of these unreleased tracks presented in this video with the Tryanglz but they never were officially released. A real shame because the success of the "Terminator" film was monumental and the club scene is still widely talked about for being the most pivotal point in the movie. As time progressed, McClure (whom now officially goes by Tane McClure) starred in more than two dozen sexploitation films. She also played the mother of Elle Woods (Reese Witherspoon) in Legally Blonde (2001) and its sequel, Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde (2003). Overall, this remastered edition has been a long time coming as it is a huge love letter to the fans of the original movie. Bone Symphony - Bone Symphony *1983* [FULL ALBUM] Anthonys Channel 2025-03-30 | [New Wave/Synth Pop/Dance/AOR/Pop/Electronic] Here is the short lived new wave group Bone Symphony with their one and only self titled album released back in 1983. This video showcases the digitally remastered 2016 CD expanded reissue of the complete sole EP, their one 12" and their single soundtrack contribution to the 1984 hit film: "Revenge Of The Nerds" as bonus tracks. The group consisted of Scott Wilk (from Scott Wilk + The Walls) on lead vocals & synthesizer, Marc Levinthal (guitar, bass synthesizer and sequencer, drum machine, 808 programming), keyboard artist Jacob Magnusson, and Robert Williams on drums & percussion. This album has grown a lot on me in recent years just by how unique and interesting it sounds. The name Bone Symphony is intended to 'combine visceral aspects with intellectual ones,' and musically, that's what they succeed in doing about half the time on this record. It gives off a very Oingo Boingo meets Real Life and Elvis Costello vibe which sets it apart from all the other generic new wave bands at the time. The tracks: "Everything I Say Is A Lie" (Track 2) is really catchy and "I'll Be There For You" (Track 3) has sort of a David Bowie mood and sound to it. The group is mostly famous for the hit song: "One Foot In Front Of The Other" (Track 6), which appeared in the films: "Revenge of the Nerds" and Seth MacFarlane 's "Ted 2", as well as in an episode of "Family Guy" (Season 4 - "Don't Make Me Over"), "Good Girls" and "New Girl". A music video was also made for the song: "It's A Jungle Out There" (Track 1) along with a 12" single release of a dance version (Track 7) and dub version (Track 8) by Capitol Records. Even though Bone Symphony came and went, Scott Wilk ended up having a pretty good considerable career. He went on to compose a couple of film scores, most notably for movies helmed by acclaimed director Martha Coolidge such as the cult hit "Valley Girl", and the Paramount feature, "Plain Clothes". Overall, even though this album is relatively overlooked, it is certainly not forgotten as it randomly pops up on occasion in pop culture still to this very day. Harold Faltermeyer - Vipers House Pt. 2 (Film Mix) *1986* [Top Gun Soundtrack] Anthonys Channel 2025-03-28 | [Synth/Rock/Ambient/Electronic/Orchestration/Score/OST] Here is the unreleased film mix version of the instrumental track titled: "Viper's House Pt. 2" composed by the legendary Harold Faltermeyer for 1986's "Top Gun". This score cue is prominently played when Lieutenant Pete "Maverick" Mitchell (Tom Cruise) is in deep thought as he watches F14 Tomcat 's flyby the landing pad. In 2024, La-La Land Records finally released Faltermeyer's complete Top Gun score to the public, however the version of "Viper's House Pt. 2" found on that release differs quite a bit from what is heard within the film. Most notably, the chorus section is the biggest change as it omits the snare drum machine, with the track fading out gradually instead of the atmospheric synth closing out at the end. The film mix version also has a more prominent guitar solo in the chorus section whereas the solo found on the La-La Land release takes more of a backseat. I assume the version on the La-La Land Records release is an early demo or the chorus section was recreated entirely by Faltermeyer for reasons unknown. Never the less, I finally managed to obtain the complete film version of this iconic score cue for you all to listen to. "Top Gun" is a 1986 American action drama film directed by Tony Scott and stars Tom Cruise as Lieutenant Pete "Maverick" Mitchell, a young naval aviator and Anthony Edwards as his wingman Nick "Goose" Bradshaw. Harold Faltermeyer - Take My Breath Away (Humming Version) *1986* [Top Gun Soundtrack] Anthonys Channel 2024-08-08 | [Synth/Electronic/New Wave/Synth Pop/Score/OST] Here is the heavily sought after humming version to Berlin's mega hit: "Take My Breath Away" that was prominently featured in the love scene to 1986's "Top Gun". In 2024, La-La Land Records finally released Harold Faltermeyer's complete Top Gun score to the public, however one of the biggest omissions from the album was the humming film version to "Take My Breath Away". The good news is that Faltermeyer's instrumental cue to the humming version was included in the release (titled "Love Scene") which made it very possible to reconstruct the track with all the missing hums and powerful chorus sections. The person responsible for this reconstruction is a YouTuber named (TurdmanJones59) and he carefully extracted all of Terri Nunn's official hums from the love scene and rebuilt the entire track to match EXACTLY to what is heard within the movie. However, he did miss ONE noticeable hum at min (3:25) that I successfully managed to source and include/add (which makes this video the CLOSEST THING that you will probably ever get to the official one heard within the film). Here is the FULL COMPLETE OFFICIAL film score to one of Tom Cruise 's BIGGEST movies: "Top Gun" (1986) composed by the legendary Harold Faltermeyer. This video brings together all the score material composed for the film, including unreleased demos of the "Top Gun Theme" and unused synth cues that didn't make it into the film. All these scores were finally released officially as a limited edition package by La-La Land Records in 2024 (only 5000 copies exist). For roughly almost 40 years the score material for this film remained unreleased and has been countlessly bootlegged/ripped by fans with traces of sound effects embedded in its audio. What's awesome about the tracks in this video is that they were all extracted and remastered from the original master tapes (meaning that these are the actual authentic tapes that were sent in to the sound editors when they placed the scores in the movie). Universal Studios Theme Parks Adventure - Nintendo GameCube *2001* [FULL SOUNDTRACK] Anthonys Channel 2023-11-15 | [Video Game Music/Soundtrack/Modern Classical/Score/Ambient/OST] Here is the complete Various Artists Original Soundtrack album to the 2001 Nintendo GameCube video game titled: "Universal Studios Theme Parks Adventure" released by Kemco and Nai'a Digital Works. Most of the games music was composed by Akihito Okawa and Hozo Okazaki while also including main movie theme songs from well known composers Alan Silvestri and John Williams. Say what you will about the video game but I always loved the original music from Okawa and Okazaki. It's extremely well done and it is one of the things that I always admired about this game. "Universal Studios Theme Parks Adventure" (also known in Japan as "Universal Studios Japan Adventure") is a 2001 video game developed by Nai'a Digital Works and published by Kemco for the GameCube. Set in the Universal Studios Japan park at Osaka, the object of the game is to complete several mini-games loosely based on the real-life attractions Back to the Future: The Ride, Jaws, Jurassic Park River Adventure, E.T. Adventure, Backdraft, Wild, Wild, Wild West Stunt Show, and Waterworld. Hosted by Woody Woodpecker, the player is encouraged to collect trash located in the park and complete movie quizzes, in which the player must answer trivia questions about the Universal Studios films. Sadly, the game was panned by critics at the time for its tedious gameplay, poor graphics and anomalous concept. Personally, the game has become a nostalgia trip down memory lane as most of the rides featured in the game are no longer at the Universal Studios theme parks. Overall, even though this video game isn't the greatest, the music from Okawa and Okazaki is worth taking a listen to as it goes great with the other iconic movie theme songs featured in the game by Alan Silvestri and John Williams. The film also covers the effect that Valens' career had on the lives of his half brother Bob Morales, his girlfriend Donna Ludwig, and the rest of his family. The movie is titled after a Mexican folk song of the same name, which Valens transformed into a rock and roll rendition in 1958. This video brings together all the score material composed for the film including the unused cues that weren't featured but recorded for the movie. There are a total of nineteen Tangerine Dream score pieces made for this film, though only four were put in the movie and a part of one was used early in the film when Louden Swain and Kenny "Kuch" Kuchera watch Brian Shute workout in the stadium bleachers. The four score pieces used in the film are titled: "Vision Quest III" (Track 3), "Vision Quest VI" (Track 6), "Vision Quest XIII" (Track 13), and "Vision Quest XIX" (Track 19). The other fifteen tracks were unused due to being replaced by vocal songs, more than likely during the areas where songs repeat. Originally released by Enigma & Milan on LP and CD in 1986, the first release of "The Delta Force" was notorious because the CD omitted an important track from the LP program "The Rescue" (Track 23). The first complete edition of the score was released by Intrada Records back in 2008, but their limited edition of 1000 copies was sold out in just four hours! This video brings together every single piece of score material composed for the film (from Intrada's 2008 release) as well as "The Delta Force (The 1986 Soundtrack Album)" scores (which were released back in 1986) by Enigma & Milan Records. All these scores were finally released together as a limited edition deluxe package by Quartet Records in 2013 (only 1000 copies exist). "The Delta Force" is a 1986 American action film starring Chuck Norris and Lee Marvin (in his final film appearance) as leaders of an elite group of Special Operations Forces personnel based on the real life U.S. Army Delta Force unit. Based on the real life terrorist plot of the hijacked TWA Flight 847 in the summer of 1985, "The Delta Force" (1986) by The Cannon Group is one of the most successful and memorable mission movies from the 1980s. Directed, co-written and co-produced by Menahem Golan, the film features Martin Balsam, Joey Bishop, Robert Vaughn, Steve James, Robert Forster, Shelley Winters, George Kennedy, and an uncredited Liam Neeson in an early role. It is the first installment in The Delta Force film series. Two sequels were eventually produced, entitled "Delta Force 2: The Colombian Connection" and the direct-to-video "Delta Force 3: The Killing Game". Alan Silvestri is best known for his numerous collaborations with director Robert Zemeckis, having scored Romancing the Stone, the Back to the Future trilogy, Forrest Gump, Contact, Cast Away and The Polar Express. An amazing AOR Synth Rock album that has unfortunately faded away into obscurity. New Regime was a Canadian pop rock band, active from 1982 to 1987 (I like to consider them the Canadian version of Duran Duran, lol). They released two albums on RCA Records during their lifetime, and toured as an opening act for the band Platinum Blonde in 1985. The band was initially formed by vocalist Kevin Connelly and drummer Neil Taylor, who were both high school friends. Taylor - Drums/Percussion, Norm McMullen - Guitar/Guitar Synthesizer, and Russell Walker - Keyboards. Signed to RCA Records in 1984, they released this self-titled debut album in 1985. The album spawned the radio singles "Seduction" (Track 7), "Love In Motion" (Track 2), "Fools Cry" (Track 4) and "Treasure" (Track 1) with subsequent music videos also made. "Seduction" (Track 7) peaked at #80 in the RPM singles chart the week of August 20th, 1985, while none of the other singles charted. The album was also modestly successful on the Canadian charts, peaking at #87 in the RPM100 albums chart in the week of July 20th, 1985. Producer Terry Brown was also nominated for Producer of the Year at the Juno Awards of 1985 for his work on this album. On December 31th, 1985, the band played a special New Year's Eve show at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto, as the opening act on a bill that also included Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) and the Thompson Twins. They released a second album in 1987 called "The Race" which surprisingly did better than this album. However, the band eventually broke up and everyone went their separate ways. Main vocalist Kevin Connelly went on to launch a solo career, releasing the critically-acclaimed SON OF THE SUN album in '96. A few years later he went back to his roots and formed a David Bowie tribute show called "Life On Mars". He then tried his hand at acting, and performed in stage productions of "A Christmas Carol" and the musical "Job & The Snake". He then created an original rock opera entitled "Burn - The Real Joan of Arc Story". He also spent some time with his new band, "The Iron Age Mystics". With that said, the stand out track on this album for me is "Love In Motion" (Track 2) as it is so catchy and rhythmic that I end up playing it over and over again, haha. Overall, if you're a fan of Duran Duran or the Australian New Wave group "Kids In The Kitchen", then you'll love this album from start to finish. Dead End Drive-In *1986* [FULL SOUNDTRACK] Anthonys Channel 2022-07-12 | [New Wave/Pop Rock/Synth Pop/Pop/Rock/OST] Here is my personal custom made official motion picture soundtrack album for the 1986 Aussie Brian Trenchard-Smith film: "Dead End Drive-In". This video brings together all the various artist music used throughout the movie including the official tracks to Lisa Edward's "Playing With Fire" (Movie Version & Studio Version). This soundtrack also includes contemporary New Wave music performed by Australian (Aussie) bands such as Kids In The Kitchen, Machinations, The Expression, and Hunters and Collectors. Also included is the rare movie mix and radio mix for the song: "He's Got It" by Short Circuit (Track 2 and 10). Dead End Drive-In is a 1986 Australian dystopian action film about a teenage couple trapped in a drive-in theatre which is really a concentration camp for societal rejects. The inmates, many of whom sport punk fashion, are placated with a steady diet of junk food, new wave music, drugs, and exploitation films. The film was directed by Brian Trenchard-Smith and stars Ned Manning (Jimmy "Crabs" Rossini) and Natalie McCurry (Carmen) as the captive couple, and Peter Whitford as (Thompson) the manager of the star drive-in. The movie was based on a short story by Peter Carey although Brian Trenchard-Smith says he hadn't read the source material when he came on board for the project. A previous director had been attached but had pulled out: "I came in, took a week, and welded the best elements from the first three drafts together, boosting the social comment," says Trenchard-Smith. The film was shot over 35 days at a drive-in theatre in Matraville Sydney, New South Wales starting on the 9th of September in 1985. Michael Wilmington of the Los Angeles Times called it an "exciting and offbeat" clone of Mad Max 2 that is "worth looking for." Luke Buckmaster of Senses of Cinema called it Trenchard-Smith's "magnum opus" and "a perfectly gloomy fusion of physical objects juxtaposed with the story's otherworldly elements and creepy dystopian undercurrents." It is also worth noting that this film is one of "Pulp Fiction" / "Kill Bill" director Quentin Tarantino 's favorites and has cited Dead End Drive-In as his favorite film from director Trenchard-Smith. With that said, it is shocking that an official soundtrack to this film was never released. I suppose its due to the fact that most of the various artists involved in this picture decided to solely include the songs on their own personal albums and not feature them in a compilation (which is understandable). Overall, I am glad to finally give "Dead End Drive-In" fans an official soundtrack that has been searched and requested for decades. I recently noticed that an official soundtrack score for 1984 's "Footloose" has never been released to the public after all these years. Due to this, I have decided to share with you my personal custom made complete soundtrack score album to "Footloose" '84 (with each track in proper order from when you hear them in the film). Literally this is every single piece of score material that is found within the movie. Obviously with iconic songs like Deniece Williams 's "Let's Hear It For The Boy", Bonnie Tyler 's "Holding Out For A Hero", and Kenny Loggins 's "Footloose", its understandable why the movie barely had any film score. I mean ... you have to admit, the music on the official (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) album makes this movie a hit, and I am not gonna lie I sometimes watch the film just to hear the music, lol. Footloose is a 1984 American musical drama film directed by Herbert Ross and stars Kevin Bacon, Lori Singer, Dianne Wiest, and John Lithgow. It tells the story of Ren McCormack (Kevin Bacon), a teenager from Chicago who moves to a small town, where he attempts to overturn the ban on dancing instituted by the efforts of a local minister (John Lithgow). The film received mixed reviews from critics but became a box office hit, grossing $80 million in North America, becoming the seventh highest grossing film of 1984. Footloose is loosely based on the town of Elmore City, Oklahoma. The town had banned dancing since its founding in 1898 in an attempt to decrease the amount of heavy drinking. Miles Goodman was an American composer for television and film. He is best remembered for his frequent collaborations with film director Frank Oz, for whom Goodman scored such films as: "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels"(1988), "What About Bob?" This custom made album/video however brings together every single piece of score material that can be heard throughout the film including unreleased material that is not found on the official soundtrack releases. Kevin Wells - Little Acts Of Treason *1985* [FULL ALBUM] Anthonys Channel 2022-04-26 | [AOR/Synth Rock/Melodic Rock/Pop Rock/Rock/New Wave] Here is guitarist, drummer, singer, songwriter, and musical director Kevin Wells with his 1985 solo debut album titled: "Little Acts Of Treason". An amazing AOR Synth Rock album that has unfortunately faded away into obscurity. A real shame that this album didn't take off because Kevin truly delivers every song with such energy and power. I personally think that this album deserved so much better than what it got because I absolutely love each track on it, especially "I'm Still Waiting" (Track 1), "Night Life" (Track 5), and "Love Is On The Line" (Track 8). Versatile at everything from jazz to hard rock, Kevin Wells has played on the road and in the studio since the age of 15 with dozens of major acts. He has worked with John McFee from the Doobie Brothers , Carlene Carter, Pablo Cruise, Tower Of Power, Jack Mack And The Heart Attack Band, The Pointer Sisters, Steve Goodman, Glenn Medeiros, Robbie Dupree & was also Laura Branigan 's live band musical director. He's probably better known as Huey Lewis & The News drummer & vocalist, recording on "Sports" and co-writing with Andre Pessis with their hit "Walking On A Thin Line". In 1985 Kevin released this one and only album which was produced by the legendary team of Peter Bunetta & Rick Chudacoff (Robbie, Dupree, The Temptations, Smokey Robinson). While country/folk music isn't so much my cup of tea, this soundtrack is really good from start to finish. This video showcases the complete album ripped directly from the official 1983 vinyl and is exclusively remastered into FLAC format for the highest and sharpest audio quality. Also included is two bonus tracks not found on the LP: "Suzi Plastic" by Bill Summers & Summers Heat (Track 7) and "It Ain’t The Gold" by John Stewart (Track 8). "Smokey and the Bandit Part 3" is a 1983 American action comedy film and a third and final sequel to "Smokey and the Bandit" (1977) and "Smokey and the Bandit II" (1980), starring Jackie Gleason, Jerry Reed, Paul Williams, Pat McCormick, Mike Henry and Colleen Camp. The film was originally entitled "Smokey IS the Bandit", and did not include Jerry Reed in the cast. Some newspapers refer to original plans by featuring Gleason as both "Smokey" and "the Bandit". According to some accounts, Jackie Gleason was to play two roles: Sheriff Buford T. Justice and a different "Bandit" with the original version shot in October of 1982. Cheesy but surprisingly a decent album! I personally find this album better than his debut titled: "Number One" as everything feels better produced. This album is mainly known for the song: "French Kiss" (Track 3) as a music video was made for it featuring Pamela Anderson as CJ Parker along with a CD single. Jeremy Dunn Jackson (born October 16, 1980) is an American actor and singer. He is best known for his role as Hobie Buchannon on the television show Baywatch. Hobie Buchannon (Jeremy Jackson) is the son of Mitch Buchannon (David Hasselhoff) and has played him from season 2 through season 10 on the Baywatch series (1991–1999). According to David Hasselhoff, the role of Hobie was almost given to Leonardo DiCaprio after Brandon Call left the series. With that said there's also a pretty decent cover of Bananarama's hit song: "Cruel Summer" (Track 10). I find this album very reminiscent to Joey Lawrence's 1993 self titled album where it was only marketed towards the teen generation who watched the TV series in which they appeared in at the time. Today, Jeremy is a motivational speaker & fitness guru whom has overcome his addictions and obstacles that plagued him post "Baywatch". Overall, even though this album is corny, cheesy, and a little bad at times, it is still a solid effort at marketing a teen idol into the music business. Friday The 13th Part VIII - Jason Takes Manhattan - Mini OST *1989* [FULL SOUNDTRACK] Anthonys Channel 2021-06-19 | [AOR/Pop Rock/Melodic Rock/Glam Rock/Rock/Pop/Various Artists/OST] Here is my personal custom made mini soundtrack album to Paramount Pictures' horror sequel: FRIDAY THE 13th PART VIII – JASON TAKES MANHATTAN (1989). This mini soundtrack includes the title song "The Darkest Side of the Night" by Metropolis and the four highly requested bonus tracks found on the La-La Land Records 2021 release: "The Darkest Side of the Night (Instrumental)" by Metropolis, "Broken Dream" by Terry Crawford, "J.J.'s Blues" by Stan Meissner, and "Livin' In The City" by King Lou. All four of these bonus tracks remained unreleased for 30 some odd years ...until now. I do remember reading somewhere that according to Stan Meissner, "Broken Dream" by Terry Crawford and "J.J.'s Blues" were never finished and what you hear in the film is pretty much all that there is. Never the less it is great that Stan Meissner and Fred Mollin finally released them in its entirety from their personal archives. Also included is two tracks that were featured in the film such as: "Say This To Me" by Neo A4, and "Strike" by The Koo. Both of these songs were never featured on any of the soundtracks released for FRIDAY THE 13th PART VIII though they are credited in the films end credits. "Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan" is a 1989 American slasher film written and directed by Rob Hedden, and starring Jensen Daggett, Scott Reeves, Peter Mark Richman, and Kane Hodder as Jason Voorhees. It is the eighth installment in the Friday the 13th franchise and follows Jason as he stalks a group of high school graduates on a ship en-route to New York City. Released on July 28, 1989, "Jason Takes Manhattan" grossed $14.3 million at the domestic box office, making it the poorest-performing film in the Friday the 13th series to date. The film received overwhelmingly negative reviews for what critics saw as weak humor, unintelligent plotting, and a failure to effectively deliver on the promise of its subtitle. This soundtrack was released by La-La Land Records & Paramount Pictures with only 2000 copies in existence. The score is entirely composed by well acclaimed musician Fred Mollin and is the first FRIDAY film score at the time to not be composed or co-composed by Harry Manfredini. This release also features four bonus tracks from the film: "The Darkest Side of the Night (Instrumental)", "Broken Dream," "J.J.'s Blues" and "Livin' In The City". All four of these bonus tracks remained unreleased for 30 some odd years ...until now. I do remember reading somewhere that according to Stan Meissner, "Broken Dream" by Terry Crawford and "J.J.'s Blues" were never finished and what you hear in the film is pretty much all that there is. Never the less it is great that Stan Meissner and Fred Mollin finally released them in its entirety from their personal archives for this release. "Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan" is a 1989 American slasher film written and directed by Rob Hedden, and starring Jensen Daggett, Scott Reeves, Peter Mark Richman, and Kane Hodder as Jason Voorhees. It is the eighth installment in the Friday the 13th franchise and follows Jason as he stalks a group of high school graduates on a ship en-route to New York City. Fred Mollin is an American and Canadian record producer, musician, film and TV composer, music director, music supervisor, and songwriter. He has produced records for Jimmy Webb, Johnny Mathis, Billy Ray Cyrus, Lamont Dozier and America, and has composed music for Beverly Hills 90210, Forever Knight, Hard Copy, and Friday the 13th (movies and television). Overall, when it comes to composing FRIDAY THE 13th PART VIII, Mollin pushes forward his inventive use of industrial percussion, synth pads, rhythmic looping, synthesized strings, woodwinds and skull-pounding dissonance, resulting in a unique and notable work of electronic scoring. Michael Kamen - X-Men (Expanded Original Soundtrack) *2000* [FULL SOUNDTRACK] Anthonys Channel 2021-06-02 | [Synth/Ambient/Electronic/Orchestration/Score/OST] Here is the complete expanded film score to the 2000 superhero blockbuster "X-Men", composed entirely by the legendary Michael Kamen (K-Men). All these scores were finally released in 2021 as an expanded limited edition package by La-La Land Records (only 3000 copies exist). What's awesome about the tracks in this video is that they were all expanded and remastered from the original master tapes (meaning that these are the actual authentic tapes that were sent in to the sound editors when they placed the scores in the movie). Michael Kamen scored countless action movies such as "Die Hard", "Lethal Weapon", "License To Kill", "Hudson Hawk", and "Last Action Hero". Fun fact: this is Kamen's first and only superhero movie score. With that said, this is my favorite X-Men film score out of all the movies and it is neat to hear them in its entirety before they were edited to fit the action on the screen. Overall, Michael Kamen's score to XMen helped launch a new franchise and paved the way for other ambitious superhero movies such as Sam Raimi's Spider-Man films, Christopher Nolan's updates on Batman and ultimately the Marvel Cinematic Universe. "The Jewel of the Nile" is a 1985 American action-adventure romantic comedy film directed by Lewis Teague and stars Michael Douglas, Kathleen Turner and Danny DeVito all reprising their roles. It is the sequel to the 1984 action-adventure romantic comedy film: "Romancing The Stone". The film is also widely known for featuring the international top hit song: "When the Going Gets Tough, the Tough Get Going" by Billy Ocean. While The Jewel of the Nile grossed more than its predecessor, the film was much less successful critically and effectively killed the franchise. Critics felt the film was loaded with numerous plot holes and that it lacked the first film's original charm. Here is the complete expanded film score to the classic Paul Brickman film that put Tom Cruise on the map, the one and only "Risky Business", all of which is composed by the legendary synth wave group Tangerine Dream. This video brings together all the score material composed for the film including the rare unreleased material that isn't available for public purchase. All of which has been exclusively enhanced & remastered by my brother Andy Morales. Let me begin by saying that I absolutely LOVE this score; It truly elevates the film's artistic visuals and stylistic approaches. However, it is truly a shame that only 5 tracks from this film have been released when they were included on the soundtrack album from 1984 by Virgin Records. Look no further as this video brings you a grand total of 26 (most of which are unreleased making this the definitive score album). Risky Business is a 1983 American teen coming-of-age comedy film that was written and directed by Paul Brickman (in his directorial debut) and stars Tom Cruise as Joel Goodson and Rebecca De Mornay as Lana. It is widely known as Cruise's breakout film (as it features the iconic Bob Seger - "Old Time Rock and Roll" living room sequence), Risky Business was a critical and commercial success, grossing more than $63 million against a $6.2 million budget. Tangerine Dream is a German electronic music band founded in 1967 by Edgar Froese. The group has seen many personnel changes over the years, with Froese having been the only continuous member up until his death in January of 2015. The best-known lineup of the group was its mid-'70s era of Edgar Froese, Christopher Franke, Peter Baumann and Johannes Schmoelling. They are considered pioneers of the early days of electronic music and has scored upwards of 60 films which include (but not limited to) Sorcerer, Thief, The Keep, Firestarter, Legend, Three O'Clock High, Near Dark, Shy People, Miracle Mile, and of course Risky Business. Overall, Risky Business redefined synth scores for the 80's; With tracks like "The Dream Is Always The Same" (Track 1) & "Love On A Real Train" (Track 18, 19, & 20) being similar to something reminiscent of Netflix's "Stranger Things" it's no surprise that this score has helped shape and influence many future synth composers of the following decades. Graham Grace - Shining Knight *1986* [FULL ALBUM] Anthonys Channel 2021-02-17 | [New Wave/Synth Rock/Melodic Rock/Pop/Pop Rock/Rock/Glam Rock] Here is British singer/songwriter Graham Grace with his second self titled debut album: "Shining Knight". An amazing AOR/New Wave album that is surprisingly pretty obscure. It's obscurity is a little shocking considering the fact that it is available on vinyl, cassette AND compact disc. What's even more surprising is that there really isn't too much data on graham grace online. I do know his real name is Graham Gibbon and I also know that he had another album in 1975 titled "Hail Me" under the moniker of "Grame Grace" but even that album is pretty obscure. This album includes the excellent single: "Follow Me Follow You" (Track 1) which really should have been a hit. That really is the stand out track here along with the relatively catchy: "Donna" (Track 3). With that said there really isn't much more to tell about graham other than he did a music video for "Follow Me Follow You" (Track 1). Overall, Even though there are only eight songs on the album, they are all AOR/New Wave standouts that deserve better recognition. Curious what Graham is up to now? Alisha - Nightwalkin *1987* [FULL ALBUM] Anthonys Channel 2020-07-01 | [Synth Pop/Freestyle/Latin Freestyle/Electronic/Dance/R&B/Pop] Here is ElectroPop & Disco artist Alisha Ann Itkin with her second studio album titled: " Nightwalkin' ". An amazing SynthPop album that every fan of 80's music DESERVES to listen to. This video showcases the complete album ripped directly from the official CD and is exclusively remastered into FLAC format for the highest and sharpest audio quality. Historically, it is a shame that this album kind of fell under the radar as it (at the time) proved that Alisha is a very talented musician. Alisha was born on April 16th 1968, in Brooklyn, New York. At age 8, she began receiving vocal lessons and eventually fell into the music business by her parents, who arranged for studio recording sessions and recitals. At age 14, she joined the rock/dance group The Babysitters in Brooklyn, and recorded a demo that her parents started shopping to various record companies. Vanguard Records brought the tape to producer Mark S. Berry, whom had been looking for a vocalist for what would become Alisha's first single on her first album: "All Night Passion". Berry went on to produce her self-titled debut album, which was released in 1985 on Vanguard Records and included additional club hits such as: "Too Turned On" (No. 6 Hot Dance US) and her biggest single to date, "Baby Talk", which reached No. 1 on the Hot Dance charts in December 1985 around the New York Tri-State Area. Due to her success, she was eventually signed to RCA Records in 1986 and thus pre-production for this album went into full swing. "Nightwalkin' " was released in 1987 and, like her first album, was produced solely by Berry. The goal of this album was to help Alisha crossover and develop her into a mainstream artist as the music contained on it features a more "80's trendy" percussion-driven, synth-pop sound rather than the NY early freestyle, electronic club sound on her debut. "Into My Secret" (Track 1) was released as the lead single, peaking at No. 9 on the Hot Dance US charts, and No. 97 on the Billboard Hot 100 in August 1987. However, what this album is notoriously known for is the song: "Do You Dream About Me" (Track 8), which was written by songwriter Diane Warren and was famously used in a montage scene from the 1987 20th Century Fox film: "Mannequin" when Andrew McCarthy is getting his groove on with Kim Cattrall, lol. Unfortunately, a lot of the songs on this album failed to chart and in the end was the only album Alisha ever released with RCA Records. In the years that followed this albums release, Alisha eventually recorded a third album and even sang a song in the 1999 Molly Shannon film "Superstar". Overall, "Nightwalkin' " is a criminally underrated 80's gem that is without a doubt a worthy successor to her first album. This album was released under RCA Victor, Mercury/Polydor, Metronome Records, and RCA Records '87.**For those that are curious, this is the CD version of the album and is exclusively remastered into FLAC format for the highest and sharpest audio quality. Adrian Zmed - Adrian Zmed *1984* [FULL ALBUM] Anthonys Channel 2020-05-20 | [AOR/Synth Rock/Melodic Rock/Pop/Pop Rock/Rock/Glam Rock] Here is the iconic 80's actor, singer and television personality Adrian George Zmed with his one and only self titled debut album: "Adrian Zmed". An amazing AOR Melodic Rock album that is surprisingly quite rare and relatively forgotten / hard to find. It's scarcity is a little shocking when considering Adrian Zmed was a pretty big Hollywood icon throughout the 1980's. He is mostly notable for his roles as Johnny Nogerelli in 1982's "Grease 2" starring alongside Michelle Pfeiffer; as well as Officer Vince (Vincent) Romano in the "T.J. Hooker" television series starring alongside William Shatner. Adrian is also known for his guest appearances in TV shows including (but not limited to): Dance Fever, Starsky & Hutch, and The Love Boat. Not to mention, Zmed also had a prominent supporting role playing Jay O'Neill in the 1984 film: "Bachelor Party" starring alongside Hollywood legend Tom Hanks in one of his earliest films. Speaking of "Bachelor Party", I also included Adrian's song titled: "Little Demon" feat. Angel and the Reruns (Track 7) as a well deserving bonus track (which is exclusively ripped from the official 1984 Various Artists Bachelor Party - The Music From The Movie Soundtrack CD). There is not much data or backstory about the production of this album though it does seem like another one of those attempts to market a trendy actor turned singer to the teenage market at the time. However, I do know that this album was produced by none other than guitarist Rick Derringer whom has worked with other famous musicians such as: "Weird Al" Yankovic and Cyndi Lauper. Honestly, Zmed really owns it on every track in this album particularly with: "Oh What A Night" (Track 1) and: "Always A Rebel" (Track 6). And his cover version of Spider / Lisa Hartman 's song: "New Romance (It's A Mystery)" (Track 4) is probably my second favorite track on the album. This album did receive "some" fame as anyone whom has seen episode 19 from season 3 of: "T. J. Hooker" will be very familiar with Track 5 's: "Run Girl Run" as it was prominently played during the opening nightclub sequence. Overall, if you are a fan of Adrian's music from "Grease 2" and "Bachelor Party" than you'll love this album from start to finish as each song feels like a musical extension to Zmed's involvement in those films. Andrea Robinson - Hearts Beat On (Film Version) *1986* [Crystal Heart Soundtrack] Anthonys Channel 2020-05-13 | [AOR/Melodic Rock/Pop Rock/Synth Pop/Glam Rock/OST] Here is the unreleased film version of Andrea Robinson's song titled: "Hearts Beat On" from the 1986 movie: "Crystal Heart" starring actress/model Tawny Kitaen and "Fame" 's Lee Curreri. The song is featured / played at the very end of the film when Tawny Kitaen finally becomes a successful rock singer and performs it in front of a large crowd. For the longest time I didn't realize that there were in fact two different versions of this song. The one on the official soundtrack titled: "Crystal Heart - Voglia D'Amore" differs from this version in the film. The unreleased film version is shorter, has a different intro synth portion, and there is also a prominent sax solo at the end. I also feel like the first verse of the chorus is different from the soundtrack version yet the second verse sounds identical. Sadly the film version was never released and the only source of its existence is solely from the movie. Upon realizing this I asked my brother Andy Morales to try and source the audio from the movie and remaster it to the best of his abilities. He basically obtained the full song, though the very beginning and very end portion sadly can't be sourced because the unwanted sound effects audio is fused with the song itself. Good news is that all the vocal sections are included along with a good portion of the beginning and end (which has all been exclusively remastered by him). Basically, this video is the CLOSEST that you are going to get to the pristine film version of the song since it only exists via from the movie and nowhere else so I am happy to upload it for all you guys to finally listen to in amazing quality. Crystal Heart *1986* [FULL SOUNDTRACK] Anthonys Channel 2020-05-12 | [AOR/Melodic Rock/Pop Rock/Synth Pop/Glam Rock/OST] Here is the complete Various Artists Original Motion Picture Soundtrack album for the 1986 film: "Crystal Heart (Voglia D'Amore)". An EXCELLENT OST that is just so good from start to finish. I once uploaded this complete soundtrack on my channel back in 2017 and ever since that videos upload I learned more about the soundtrack and the movie from the fans. For starters, this entire soundtrack was produced by Joel Goldsmith whom is the son of legendary film composer Jerry Goldsmith (Alien, Total Recall, Poltergeist, etc.). Not to mention a couple of Joel's instrumental cues from the film are also included on this album. The "Crystal Heart Theme" (Track 3) is a moody / melancholic piece of electronic music, while the "Breaking Free Theme" (Track 10) is more dramatic and intense in composition. The remaining 10 tracks on the album are an eclectic mix of pop and rock sounds that define the 80's to its fullest. But the real standout however is Andrea Robinson's "Hearts Beat On" (Track 8) which I have come to realize that the album version is fairly different from the one presented in the film. The unreleased film version is shorter, has a different intro synth portion, and there is also a prominent sax solo at the end. Because of this realization I have decided to revisit/re-upload this amazing soundtrack (now in enhanced quality) while also including the film version of "Hearts Beat On" (Track 13) as a well deserving bonus track. "Crystal Heart" is a 1986 Romance/Drama flick directed by Gil Bettman and stars actress/model Tawny Kitaen, you might remember her from the infamous Whitsnake 's "Here I Go Again" music video, as well as when she played Tom Hanks girlfriend in 1984's: "Bachelor Party". She also dated Robbie Crosby of glam metal group Ratt, and at one time married David Coverdale of Whitesnake. The movie is basically "The Boy in the Plastic Bubble" meets "Club MTV" where Tawny Kitaen plays pop-rocker Alley Daniels whom eventually falls in love with a man in a glass chamber (Lee Curreri) that suffers from an immunity weakness. While the movie is weird the soundtrack on the other hand is downright incredible; Although I can't seem to understand the marketing behind it. Strangely enough the soundtrack really didn't catch on in the United States as it was only released on vinyl and cassette in Italy (under the title: "Voglia D'Amore") and Mexico/Spain (under the title: "Corazón De Cristal"). Still to this day the soundtrack has never been released on CD and that is a real shame because all of the songs on it are really well produced for it's time period when Melodic Rock/Synth Pop were all the rage. Hughes - C.H.U.D. *1984* [FULL SOUNDTRACK] Anthonys Channel 2020-05-09 | [Synth/Ambient/Electronic/Orchestration/Score/OST] Here is the complete film score to the legendary 1984 B-Movie Horror film: "C.H.U.D." (Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers) composed by Martin Cooper & David A. Hughes. This complete score was finally released on vinyl back in 2015 by Waxwork Records. For roughly 31 years an official soundtrack to this film was never released and the score material seemed almost impossible to obtain. Whats awesome about the tracks in this video is that they were all extracted and remastered from the original master tapes (meaning that these are the actual authentic tapes that were sent in to the sound editors when they placed the scores in the movie). Let me begin by saying that I couldn't thank Waxwork Records enough because this is one of my all time favorite horror synth scores (hands down!). Rolling Stone even lists this amazing score at number 33 out of 35 in their article titled: "35 Greatest Horror Soundtracks" (and I couldn't agree more). If you guys are fans of early 80's synthesizer work done by John Carpenter and Alan Howarth than you'll LOVE this score. Tracks like: "Entering The Tunnels" (Track 4), "Blood Shower!" (Track 17) & "Cityscape" (Track 18) are so symbolic to their work it's almost as if they could be apart of the scores to 1981's "Escape from New York" or 1983's "Christine". C.H.U.D. is a 1984 American science fiction horror film directed by Douglas Cheek and produced by Andrew Bonime. The title of the movie stands for: "Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers" but is also referred to as: "Contamination Hazard Urban Disposal" by some characters in the film. The plot is about a NYC police officer and a shelter manager whom discover the homeless are being taken & transformed into humanoid monsters that live below the city. Through the years, C.H.U.D has gained a devoted cult following amongst B-Movie Horror fans. The film is widely referenced in pop culture to this day via The Simpsons, Archer and more. C.H.U.D. has also served as a launching pad for a bunch of iconic actors such as: John Goodman, Daniel Stern, Kim Greist, Christopher Curry, and John Heard. Both Martin Cooper & David A. Hughes were once members of the legendary British new wave group Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD). Upon briefly leaving the group in 1981, Cooper and Hughes composed numerous synth instrumentals. Some of these instrumentals came to the attention of Warner Bros. whom eventually hired the two to do the score for "CHUD". According to Cooper, they recorded the score at Amazon Recording Studios in Liverpool on a 'borrowed' emulator sampler synth from OMD, and a Roland SH1. He also states that this score is quite possibly one of the earliest (if not the first!) film score to use sampling techniques as the emulator used was one of the firsts in existence. Overall, this primitive synth score composed by Martin Cooper and David Hughes is a historic collage of electronic compositions that captures the seedy, grim landscape that once embodied early 1980's New York City to it's highest regard. Cellarful Of Noise - Cellarful Of Noise *1985* [FULL ALBUM] Anthonys Channel 2020-05-03 | [AOR/Synth Rock/Melodic Rock/Pop Rock/Rock/Glam Rock] Here is keyboardist, songwriter, producer, lawyer and singer Mark Avsec aka Cellarful Of Noise with his debut 1985 solo album titled: "Cellarful Of Noise". An amazing AOR Synth Rock album that has unfortunately faded away into obscurity. A real shame that this album didn't take off so well because Avsec truly delivers every song with such energy and power. I personally think that this album deserved so much better than what it got because I absolutely love each track on it, especially "Heartwrecker" (Track 7), "You'll Never Break My Heart Again" (Track 5), and "Can't Put A Leash On Love" (Track 10). Each track has this "Miami Vice" Michael Mann type sound to it, as it feels like something that I would suspect Sonny Crockett (Don Johnson) to be jamming out to, lol. All of these tracks were of course super trendy at the time and that is what is so surprising with the development of this album. For those that don't know, Mark Avsec was a pretty well known musician back in the day as he was one of the members in the widely popular bands: Wild Cherry ( "Play That Funky Music" ) and Donnie Iris & The Cruisers ( "Ah! Leah!" ). Not only that but he himself also co-wrote and produced a lot of the bands music too. In 1984, Avsec had spare time to begin working in his home studio in Twinsburg, Ohio on 40 to 50 demos which he began recording in winter of that same year (10 of which are these songs found on this album). Originally, these songs were to be recorded for Donnie Iris and the Cruisers. However, after being offered a solo album deal with CBS Records, Avsec selected ten of his demo recordings for a solo project under the moniker Cellarful of Noise with Cruisers' former drummer Kevin Valentine also aiding with the production. The album was released on vinyl and cassette only in America via CBS Associated Records; And on vinyl in the Netherlands via Epic Records. Still to this day this album has not been released on CD, and has remained out-of-print since its original release. According to Avsec, this album was "just a little hobby" and the name Cellarful Of Noise partially was inspired by his recording studio (where these songs originated as demos) in his basement labeled: "The Cellar". In a 1988 interview with AOR Basement, Avsec revealed how this 1985 album came to be released by CBS: "I had some spare time and I was really just experimenting in my basement with an eight-track and some midi-equipment. My manager, Mike Belkin, shopped the tapes and CBS put it out, virtually as it was - although it was really just me messing around. Right after it came out, though, I wanted to get more serious about it and make a better sounding record." After this albums release, Avsec went on to release a second Cellarful Of Noise album in 1988 titled: "Magnificent Obsession" but also noted that Donnie Iris and the Cruisers was still his main focus, and wanted to continue to release new albums solely within the band. Overall, this album is a great window into the musical talents of Mark Avsec whom (in my opinion) is the man that truly defined the ultimate success of Donnie Iris and the Cruisers. Here is the complete SUPER RARE and HARD TO FIND official press kit score for the Tom Cruise film: "Risky Business" by the legendary synth wave group Tangerine Dream. All of which has been exclusively ripped from the official vinyl and carefully remastered by my brother Andy Morales. This video showcases the heavily sought after promotional album titled: "Risky Business (The Audio Movie Kit)" and as an added bonus two uncommon scores from the Risky Business European '84 LP Soundtrack Album titled: "Joel's Dream (The Dream Is Always The Same)" (Track 8) and "Love On A Real Train (Train Sequence)" (Track 9) are also included as bonus tracks for your listening pleasure. This movie kit was released in 1983 on a double vinyl set and roughly 50 to 100 copies were only made and shipped to various radio stations to promote the forthcoming movie Risky Business. Eight total music tracks composed by Tangerine Dream were provided on this kit and can only be found on this album. These tracks are different from the material that had been used for the official release of the Risky Business soundtrack album in 1984 by Virgin Records. Risky Business is a 1983 American teen coming-of-age comedy film that was written and directed by Paul Brickman (in his directorial debut) and stars Tom Cruise as Joel Goodson and Rebecca De Mornay as Lana. It is widely known as Cruise's breakout film (as it features the iconic Bob Seger - "Old Time Rock and Roll" living room sequence), Risky Business was a critical and commercial success, grossing more than $63 million against a $6.2 million budget. Tangerine Dream is a German electronic music band founded in 1967 by Edgar Froese. The group has seen many personnel changes over the years, with Froese having been the only continuous member up until his death in January of 2015. The best-known lineup of the group was its mid-'70s era of Edgar Froese, Christopher Franke, Peter Baumann and Johannes Schmoelling. They are considered pioneers of the early days of electronic music and has scored upwards of 60 films which include (but not limited to) Sorcerer, Thief, The Keep, Firestarter, Legend, Three O'Clock High, Near Dark, Shy People, Miracle Mile, and of course Risky Business. Overall, The Risky Business Audio Movie Kit is INCREDIBLY hard to find due to how there are very few prints of them out there. At one time I noticed this promo album going for crazy money online with one eBay auction bid ending in $938.00 dollars and another one ending in $500.00 dollars. Risky Business is a 1983 American teen coming-of-age comedy film that was written and directed by Paul Brickman (in his directorial debut) and stars Tom Cruise as Joel Goodson and Rebecca De Mornay as Lana. It is widely known as Cruise's breakout film (as it features the iconic Bob Seger - "Old Time Rock and Roll" living room sequence), Risky Business was a critical and commercial success, grossing more than $63 million against a $6.2 million budget. Tangerine Dream is a German electronic music band founded in 1967 by Edgar Froese. The group has seen many personnel changes over the years, with Froese having been the only continuous member up until his death in January of 2015. Pernilla Wahlgren - Pernilla Wahlgren *1985* [FULL ALBUM] Anthonys Channel 2020-02-17 | [Synth Pop/Electronic/Pop/Disco/Dance/AOR] Here is Swedish singer and actress Pernilla Wahlgren with her synth pop fueled self-titled debut album: "Pernilla Wahlgren". In my opinion, one of the best albums to ever come out of Sweden by far. Though she isn't quite known outside of that country, it would appear that Pernilla still has quite a dedicated fan-base on her home turf. Wahlgren was born to actors Christina Schollin and Hans Wahlgren on Christmas Eve, 1967. She has three brothers and was once married to dancer and composer Emilio Ingrosso from 1993 to 2002 (Emilio was Pernilla's backup dancer for this album while also aiding her in a duet titled: "Paradise" on her second album in 1986). They have three children named Oliver, Bianca, and Benjamin Ingrosso. Before her music, Pernilla heavily wanted to pursue acting and at the age of four, was alongside her mother in the television play Den längsta dagen (The Longest Day). As the years progressed so did her talents, she appeared in an episode of Nygammalt in 1983 and an episode of Razzel in October 1984, where she performed her debut single, "Nu har det tänt" (Track 7). Her musical breakthrough however came when she participated in Melodifestivalen 1985 where her song on this album titled: "Piccadilly Circus" (Track 4) became a fan favorite. Though the song was well received on the show, Wahlgren placed fourth in the competition that year. Regardless of the fourth placed finish, "Piccadilly Circus" (Track 4) peaked at second place on the Swedish singles chart and paved the way for this 1985 album produced by Glen Disc Records. The album was a massive hit in Sweden with one track in particular "Svindlande Affärer" (Track 1) being used for the theme song of the movie with the same name in 1985. After this albums success, Pernilla went on to release 5 more studio albums throughout the late 80s and 90s while also continuing to act in films and television. In 2016, she has developed a reality series titled: Wahlgrens värld (Wahlgren's World) which documents her life. The series was continued with a third and fourth season in 2018 with a fifth and sixth season being aired in 2019. Overall, Pernilla is still very successful today but I just wish that this album was promoted in the United States better. All of these songs have such hit potential that it is such a shame they only had sequential fame in Sweden. I honestly feel like the producers on this album were trying to launch a worldwide star (with the various English sung tracks) but couldn't seem to figure it out. Even though half of the tracks I can't understand due to them not being sung in English (haha), the album is still a must listen to for anyone that loves hardcore 80's synth pop at its finest. This album was released under Glen Disc Records, EMI Records '85.(Btw, this is the 1995 CD reissue distributed by EMI Records that contains the bonus intro track: "Svindlande Affärer" which is not found on the 1985 vinyl. The CD reissue also has a slight difference from the 1985 vinyl where "Back Again" (Track 5) plays before "Can't Live Without You" (Track 6). Harold Faltermeyer - Fletch Lives *1989* [FULL SOUNDTRACK] Anthonys Channel 2019-11-16 | [Synth/Ambient/Electronic/Orchestration/Score/OST] Here is the complete film score to the classic Chevy Chase 1989 comedy sequel: "Fletch Lives" composed by the legendary Harold Faltermeyer. This video brings together all the score material composed for the film including the rare source cues that were used as SFX's in certain sections of the movie. All these scores were finally released as a limited edition package by La-La Land Records and the Universal Pictures Film Music Heritage Collection (only 3000 copies exist). For roughly 30 years an official soundtrack to this film was never released and the score material seemed impossible to obtain. What's awesome about the tracks in this video is that they were all extracted and remastered from the original master tapes (meaning that these are the actual authentic tapes that were sent in to the sound editors when they placed the scores in the movie). As an added bonus, this video also includes the super rare track titled: "Kings Of The Road" (Track 21) by Martin Nethercutt which was used in the bar sequence when Irwin M. Fletcher is disguised as Ed Harley, lol. "Fletch Lives" is a 1989 American comedy film starring Chevy Chase, Hal Holbrook, Julianne Phillips, R. Lee Ermey, and Richard Libertini, and is a sequel to 1985's "Fletch" directed by Michael Ritchie. In this sequel, investigative reporter Irwin M. Fletcher (Chevy Chase) inherits a Louisiana estate when his aunt dies. Leaving his reporter career behind, Fletch travels down South to check out his new-found property. However, when the lawyer handling the estate is found murdered, Fletch becomes the prime suspect, and must resort to a bunch of amusing antics to clear his name. Despite getting mixed reviews upon release, the movie went on to gross $39.4 million worldwide and is still considered one of the great highlights in Chevy Chase's impressive acting career. Harold Faltermeyer is best known for composing the "Axel F" theme for the feature film: "Beverly Hills Cop", as well as the "Top Gun Anthem" for the feature film: "Top Gun". Both of which shouldn't detract from the many other notable musical contributions that he has aided in throughout the 1980's (Ex: "The Running Man", "Thief Of Hearts", & "Fletch"). When it comes to "Fletch Lives", Faltermeyer doesn't disappoint as most of the tracks are basically different ways (or i should say variants) of his iconic "Fletch" theme. With that said it should also be noted that the new material composed for this film is quite good. For example, the "The Kiss" (Track 11) and "Another Kiss" (Track 14) are nice additions that really show you how talented Faltermeyer really is. Overall, this score is truly great from start to finish because not only does Faltermeyer give us his famous Fletch motifs from the first film in a revised fashion, but he also gives us brand new material in expert ways that heighten the film's action, suspense and comedy. Timmy T - Over And Over *1991* [FULL ALBUM SINGLE] Anthonys Channel 2019-07-15 | [Electronic/Pop/Synth Pop/Dance/Freestyle/Latin Freestyle/Dance Pop] Here's early 90's latin freestyle sensation Timmy T (Timothy Torres) with his 12" promo album single for his hit song: "Over And Over". This maxi single contains three mixes: "Over And Over (Radio Version)", "Over And Over (Dance Version), and the "Over And Over (Dub Mix)". In my opinion, these three mixes are FAR SUPERIOR to the 1990 original version that can be found on his "Time After Time" album. I personally have been trying to get a hold of this 12" promo single for quite some time now as the "Over And Over" version that I first heard way back when was the one that is used/featured in the music video (which is the "Over And Over (Radio Version)" found on this single). What makes these versions on this single BETTER than the one that is on the "Time After Time" album is the super sharp bass line. I don't know who to thank for this addition whether it be executive producer Russ Regan, or producer John Ryan, remixers Craig Burbidge, Gregg Barrett, or Timmy T for that matter ... the point is that it was a great decision to rework the song as this single is incredibly amazing and miles better than the original track. Its got everything to make you feel like you are back in the early 90s and I love it, lol. Timothy Torres (professionally known as Timmy T), is a freestyle performer and musician. Born and raised in Fresno California, Timmy T decided to venture into music during the tail end of the 1980s. He recorded his first single, "Time After Time", in his garage by using a Moog synthesizer and a Roland TR-808 drum machine (these instruments were also used for this promo album). After getting the "Time After Time" single pressed on vinyl, he rode his motorcycle to a local Fresno radio station to ask them to play his song. After the DJ played the song, there were many calls requesting who was performing that song. As buzz started to circulate, Timmy T was eventually signed to Quality Records and "Time After Time" went on to peak at #40 of the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. He released another single at the end of 1990, the mega hit ballad "One More Try", which proved to be much more successful than his first single, selling over a million copies and climbing to the top of the Billboard charts the following year in 1991. As for "Over And Over", it made #63 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was the last single to make the charts in Timmy T's musical career. Regardless of his short fame, Timmy T is established/active on social media and performs with other freestyle acts from the late 80s and early 90s still to this very day. Jetsons: The Movie *1990* [FULL SOUNDTRACK] Anthonys Channel 2018-12-30 | [Synth Pop/AOR/Electronic/Pop/Rap/House/New Jack Swing/OST] Here is the complete Various Artists Original Motion Picture Soundtrack album for the 1990 Joseph Barbera & William Hanna film: "Jetsons: The Movie". An EXCELLENT OST soundtrack that is just so good from start to finish. Let me begin by saying that one of the best things from this movie is the soundtrack ...hands down. It's no surprise that a lot of time and effort went into the music and it clearly shows as it is filled to the brim with well produced typical 80's songs & sounds that just bleed a bit into the 90's, lol. One of the memorable standouts on this soundtrack is the late 80's mall singing sensation Tiffany Darwish aka Tiffany ("I Think We're Alone Now") whom gives it her all on the three tracks that she performs. She literally goes from singing a personal song about lost love with "I Always Thought I'd See You Again" (Track 4), to a passionate uplifting rock anthem for keeping love together in "You And Me" (Track 3), to finally a love song about your home, your family, and the unconditional love you receive from both with her power ballad titled "Home" (Track 9). I am a big fan of Tiffany and believe me her contributions to this album are some of her best work (Even she herself has stated that the songs she did for this movie are her favorite pieces of music that she has ever performed, lol). With that said as many people know, Tiffany was also cast to voice Judy Jetson in the film, and this decision proved to be very controversial at the time, as it meant that Jetsons: The Movie was the first ever piece of Jetsons material to not feature Janet Waldo as the voice of Judy. While Tiffany does a credible job overall, it is unfortunate that the original voice actor was dropped to accommodate a pop singer who just happened to be trendy at the time. The music on the other hand I just can't complain as the other songs on this soundtrack are just as good as Tiffany 's. For example: Shane Sutton 's songs: "Stayin' Together" & "With You All The Way" (a cover of a New Edition track) are really impressive as he was only 10 or 11 when he sang these songs. Not to mention XXL 's "We're The Jetsons (Jetsons' Rap)" (Track 1) kinda has that RUN DMC vibe when they performed their song "Ghostbusters" in 1989's "Ghostbusters 2", lol. While the soundtrack is awesome, not the same can really be said about the movie. Jetsons: The Movie is a 1990 American animated musical comic science fiction film produced by Hanna-Barbera and released by Universal Pictures on July 6, 1990. Based on the 60's cartoon series The Jetsons, the film stars George O'Hanlon, Penny Singleton and Mel Blanc. Sadly in 1989, both O'Hanlon and Blanc died during production of the film, which in the end was dedicated to both their memories. The film was considered a flop upon release, opening at #4, behind Die Hard 2, Days of Thunder and Dick Tracy with a box office total of only $20.3 million in the United States. Eventually the film gained a cult following on home video releases and has become praised for what it is. Regardless, I love this film because the entire vibe of it feels like it is infused with a marathon of Hannah Barbara cartoons and an MTV music video top 10 list, haha. Overall, this soundtrack is really quite amazing, the tracks are catchy, most are quite heartfelt, and despite having a dated sound, they give the film a weird timeless charm that people seem to enjoy for decades to come. Many people these days don't remember him but he made it big by being a contestant on the FOX hit TV show: "American Idol" for it's 10th season back in 2011. He advanced all the way to the live shows where he placed Top 7th in the competition (he was also a fan favorite of judge Jennifer Lopez whom is best known for her hits: "Waiting For Tonight", "Jenny From The Block", and "Love Don't Cost A Thing"). Stefano Langone was born on February 27th 1989, in Bellevue, Washington, to Ernie and Carrie Langone. He was born to an Italian father and a Mexican mother and has also been performing/studying music throughout his entire life. His father works as a career adviser at The Art Institute of Seattle and is also a singer/musician as well as Stefano's biggest influence. On May 28th 2009, Stefano was involved in a near-fatal accident after being hit by a drunk driver. The accident resulted in two broken arms, a fractured pelvis, and other serious injuries. In addition, Langone had to learn to walk again and has extensive scarring as a result of the accident. The song on this album titled: "Last Day Of My Life" (Track 8) is a homage to that event in his life. The event was also used as a selling point for his time on American Idol so that viewers could see how gifted/remarkable he is. After Idol, he was signed to Hollywood Records and thus the production for this album went in full swing. His first single titled: "I'm On A Roll" was pretty successful, and debuted with sales of 20,000 copies for its first week. It also featured hip hop group New Boyz and was produced by Rock Mafia (a music video was also made). After the success of "I'm On A Roll", Hollywood Records went ahead and released a second single (which is also on this album) titled: "Yes To Love" though it is unclear how successful the single performed. As such, this album was the next project to be released though it weirdly kept getting pushed back to the point where it was announced that Langone was shockingly dropped from the label. These days Stefano is still writing and producing music and is even working with legendary 80's R&B producer/musician Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds whom has written and produced over 26 number-one R&B hits throughout his career, and has won himself 11 Grammy Awards. Even though Stefano is doing quite well these days, it is still such a shame that this album got shelved because Stefano delivers some pretty catchy lyrics on it. Though generic of the early 2010's with the electronic pop instrumentation's, Stefano manages to sidestep that trend by putting a classical R&B feel in some of the tracks (which is pretty unique for its time). Overall, I am happy to finally give you guys Stefano's unreleased Hollywood Records album which unfortunately has faded away into obscurity ..until now. Bobby Ross Avila - Bobby Ross Avila *1989* [FULL ALBUM] Anthonys Channel 2018-07-24 | [New Jack Swing/Funk/Hip Hop/Soul/Pop/Synth Pop] Here is four-time Grammy Award winner, songwriter, musician, and R&B producer Bobby Ross Avila with his impressive (and slightly cheesy) self-titled debut album from 1989. This album always seems to get overlooked by the public and i just can't seem to figure out why? My guess is that nobody at the time could take Avila seriously because of his young age and also due to the fact that the album seemed to be marketed for the tween generation of the late 1980's. Bobby Ross Avila is the eldest son of notable musician & music producer Bobby Avila Sr. (whom by the way produced and co-wrote this whole album). He has a younger brother named Iz (Izzy Avila) who at the time was one of Bobby Ross Avila 's New Jack back up dancers for the live stage performances. Izzy also had a brief music career in the rap scene (as Izzy Reel) during the early 90's before Bobby Ross Avila decided to team up with him to develop their own dynamic duo: The Avila Brothers (Avila Brothers). In the early 80's, Bobby Avila Sr. noticed that his son had real talent for music at a young age, and as the 90's started to approach he decided to sacrifice his whole music career to focus on getting this album pressed and distributed. He has stated in multiple interviews that when he saw his son perform these songs on television, it was like growing up and experiencing music all over again. The album definitely shows Bobby's true devotion & love for his father while also expressing his musical interests (which at the time was NEW JACK SWING baby, lol). Bobby Ross Avila got a chance to record this album with RCA at 13 years old and the end result is a pretty solid addition to the New Jack Swing genre. New Jack fans will definitely dig this album as Bobby tends to influence some similar instrumentation's from other new jack swing artists of the time. "I Won't Let You Go" (Track 3)'s instrumentation is pretty much Al B Sure's "Oooh This Love Is So" and "Merry Go Round" (Track 4) has a likeness to Guy's "Merry Go Round Of Love" ....no surprise there, lol. Multiple singles were also made from this album but the one that achieved the most attention was "Music Man" (Track 1) as it reached #91 on Billboard's Hot Black Singles chart for four weeks straight (a music video for the song was also made due to its semi-popularity). Due to the songs success he eventually scored an opportunity to perform as the opening act of the famous "New Kids On The Block" Hangin' Tough tour. Because of this venture, this album has been connected and vividly remembered as part of NKOTB history (along with Tommy Page's album "Paintings In My Mind"). After making this album with his father, Bobby went on to record more music and eventually produce and work with some of R&B's most notable musicians. Some of which include: Janet Jackson, Mary J. Blige, Usher, Missy Elliott, Jessica Simpson, Patti LaBelle, Chaka Khan, Mint Condition, Gwen Stefani, and he has even helped recompose Stevie B's music for some of his greatest hits albums. Hinton Battle - Untapped *1986* [FULL ALBUM] Anthonys Channel 2018-07-21 | [Electro Funk/Funk/RnB/R&B/Electronic/Soul/Slowjam/Electro] Here is the legendary dancer, actor, and dance instructor Hinton Battle with his synth filled debut album titled: "Untapped" (remastered by my brother Andy Morales). I like to think that this album had a similar marketing venture to Gregory Hines 's 1988 album where music producers took a risk on turning a professional dancer into a professional R&B musician. Whatever the case, it is a real shame that this album didn't do so well because Hinton really proves himself that he can not only dance and act but he can also sing great as well. I assume that poor marketing / promotion is to blame for its obscurity as every track (especially "Here Is My Heart" & "Ev'ry Night") is produced so well. I guess they figured that Hinton's name alone would generate the albums fame but that was unfortunately not good enough. Hinton Battle was born on November 29, 1956 in Neubrücke, Hoppstädten, West Germany and was eventually raised in Washington, D.C. and New York City. His mother was a homemaker and his father was a U.S. army officer. Battle's talent became apparent at the age of nine. After three years of studying ballet at the Jones-Haywood School of Ballet, he received a scholarship to The School of American Ballet where he studied until the age of fifteen under George Balanchine. That same year, Hinton made his Broadway debut starring as the first ever Scarecrow (before the iconic Michael Jackson) in The Wiz. As time progressed, he has appeared in fifteen films and television programs, including Quantum Leap, Dreamgirls (w/ Beyonce), and Touched by an Angel. He has also won three Tony Awards, all of which in the category of Featured Actor in a Musical. His second Tony is what i like to think inspired this albums existence as his role in 1984's "The Tap Dance Kid" with a young Alfonso Ribeiro seemed to have inspired the title "Untapped" (since he was pretty fluent / popular in tap dancing around the mid 80's). After this album failed to reach national attention, Battle went on to record his song "Think We're Gonna Make It" for the 1986's "Playing For Keeps" soundtrack (which is also kind of forgotten now). Even though his music career wasn't very successful, Hinton has managed to keep a pretty impressive career in tact as he has developed, choreographed, and directed a plethora of off-broadway projects including his very own dance academy. He also has somewhat of a presence online through social media and he even has an official website (which i have linked below). Overall, Hinton's "Untapped" album is a clear example of an underrated electro R&B masterpiece that ultimately deserved way more recognition than what it sadly received. This recording was solely composed for the scene when the Griswold family goes shopping in Piazza di Spagna, Rome Italy. This song is heavily sought out by pretty much every fan of "European Vacation" (as well as fans of Dr. John) so i am glad to finally put all your searches to rest. The song was only written specifically for "European Vacation" and this beta tape was used accordingly to fit the shopping scene footage. The lyrics are by John Bettis (Michael Jackson's "Human Nature" & Madonna's "Crazy for you") and the instrumentation music is by Charles Fox (Roberta Flack's "Killing Me Softly" & Barry Manilow's "Ready To Take A Chance Again") ...Fox also scored the entire movie as well. This video brings together the various artist music used throughout the movie including the REAL, AUTHENTIC, UNRELEASED & IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND full song of "New Looks" by Dr. John (the recording is the official one that was used solely for the film during the shopping scene in Rome, Italy). Also included is the rare track titled: "Baby It's You, Yes I Am" by Danger Zone; The song is featured in the scene where Rusty Griswold jams out on his walkman while annoying Clark on the train. European Vacation is a 1985 American comedy film directed by Amy Heckerling and written by John Hughes and Robert Klane based on a story by Hughes. Paul Anka (& Richard Marx) - Say It *1987* [No Way Out Soundtrack] Anthonys Channel 2018-06-18 | [Synth Pop/Funk/RnB/R&B/Electronic/Soul/Slowjam/Electro] Here is the super rare and highly sought after song titled: "Say It" by the iconic musician / producer Paul Anka that was originally planned to be used in the 1987 Kevin Costner film: "No Way Out" (before it was decided that Anka would perform a 1 min post production live version that is heard in the film). The words and music for this song were produced by Paul Anka and the legendary Richard Marx (Right Here Waiting / Endless Summer Nights). The song is featured / played when characters Tom Farrell (Kevin Costner) and Susan Atwell (Sean Young) are driving in a red 1986 Alfa Romeo 2000 Spider Quadrifoglio for a romantic weekend getaway together. Many "No Way Out" fans (including fans of Paul Anka) have been looking tirelessly for this song as it is not included on any of Paul Anka 's albums. Not for nothing but i think that this is the very first original demo recorded version with possibly Richard Marx signing and Anka backing whereas in the film it is a live version done by Anka (i can't be so sure or confirm this but never the less this is the original version of the song). The video / The Pentagon in general is a nod to the setting, opening credits and the end credits of the film where they showcase aerial coverage of Washington D.C, Arlington, Virginia, and Pentagon City, Virginia. I'm not going to lie but this song fits pretty well with the aerial aesthetic of our nations capital. Paul Albert Anka is a Canadian singer, songwriter and actor. Maurice Jarre - No Way Out: Deluxe Edition *1987* [FULL SOUNDTRACK] Anthonys Channel 2018-06-18 | [Synth/Ambient/Electronic/Orchestration/Score/OST] Here is the complete film score to one of Kevin Costner 's best films: 1987's "No Way Out" composed by the legendary Maurice Jarre. This video brings together every single piece of score material composed for the film including unused (alternate) material that didn't make it into the movie. Let me begin by saying that this is one of the best thrillers from the 1980's ...hands down. The plot twist at the end of this film is almost as shocking as when Darth Vader (James Earl Jones / David Prowse) reveals to Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) that he is his father in "Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back". No Way Out is a 1987 American political thriller film directed by Roger Donaldson and starring Kevin Costner, the legendary Gene Hackman, Sean Young and Will Patton. The film is a remake of The Big Clock (1948). Both films are based on Kenneth Fearing's 1946 novel of the same name (hence why it is such a tight & well put together story). The film was very well received by critics and as of December 4, 2015, holds a 91% "Fresh" rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 40 reviews. Roger Ebert even gave the film 4 out of 4 stars, calling it "truly labyrinthine and ingenious". Further more, Maurice Jarre is considered to be among one of the greatest film composers of all time and he truly doesn't disappoint with this synth-filled score. Though rooted in the synthesizer sensibilities so dominant during the 80s, Jarre 's "No Way Out" score increases the tension and atmosphere in a film that makes such good use of Washington and builds suspense so well that it transcends a plot bordering on ridiculous. Ollie & Jerry - Spice (The Miracle Dancers Theme) *1984* [Breakin 2: Electric Boogaloo Soundtrack] Anthonys Channel 2018-05-27 | [Breakdance/Synth Pop/Electro/Score/Dance/ElectroFunk/OST] Here is a special video that showcases the SUPER RARE / UNRELEASED track titled: "Spice" by Ollie & Jerry. Me and my brother were very pleased by how this came out as it was no walk in the park when it came to restoring / remastering it. For those who are unaware, "Spice" was one of the few songs that was not included on the original soundtrack for "Breakin' 2 - Electric Boogaloo (Breakdance 2 - Electric Boogaloo)". According to Shabba Doo (Adolfo Gutierrez Quiñones or Adolfo Gordon Quiñones) aka "Ozone" he claims that this track was solely made for the movie and was never intended for a release. I believe that this is true since the track only showed up in the background during some key major scenes during the end of the film when they try to save Miracles (it felt like "filler" music). Then again I am a little surprised that the comprising duo Ollie E. Brown and Jerry Knight decided to leave it off the official soundtrack. I personally think that the sole master tape that contained a lot of the Ollie E. Brown scores either went missing or sadly trashed once post production was finished. Electric Boogaloo was released nine months after its predecessor Breakin' by TriStar Pictures and by Cannon Films a few months later. In some international locations the film was released under the title Breakdance 2: Electric Boogaloo. Another sequel, Rappin' (also known as Breakdance 3) was made but had an unconnected plot and different lead characters – only Ice-T features in all three movies. Like its predecessor, much of the film's soundtrack was provided by Ollie & Jerry, comprising the duo Ollie E. Brown and Jerry Knight. However, it seems apparent that a lot of the Breakin' 2 Ollie & Jerry work sadly went missing. It's no surprise that my work done on this track is the cleanest and sharpest that you will find on the internet. Unfortunately, I can assure you that this video is (and probably always will be) the closest thing you will get to the master tape quality of the song. Never the less i am pleased to give the Breakin' fans a long desired track that has been lost for decades. This OST soundtrack score is unreleased and has no distribution label '84.
