이번 프로젝트는 니케 : 승리의 여신 의 2주년을 축하하는 기념방송을 위해 제작되었습니다!

'JINX PLAYER' 는 새로운 이벤트 캐릭터 ROUGE의 테마송으로 게임 내에서 '코인 러시'라는 게임의 진행자로 등장하는데요!

평소에는 매우 유능하고 친절한 인물로 묘사되지만, 불운과 관련된 여러 징크스를 가지고 있어 음악에 이런 복잡한 특징들이 담겨있습니다.

원곡은 관악기를 이용한 재즈 빅밴드 스타일인데 반해 레이어스클래식은 어쿠스틱한 스윙재즈 스타일과 탱고스타일을 추가하였고 ROUGE를 코스튬한 댄서의 등장으로 영상에 재미와 몰입감을 더했답니다!

게임 '니케:승리의 여신' 많이 사랑해주시고 레이어스클래식의 버전도 많이 즐겨주세요!

This project was produced to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of Nikke: Goddess of Victory with a special commemorative broadcast!

'JINX PLAYER' is the theme song for the new event character, ROUGE, who appears in the game as the host of a mini-game called 'Coin Rush.' While she is portrayed as highly skilled and friendly, she is also associated with several unlucky "jinxes," and these complex traits are reflected in the music.

The original track features a jazz big band style using brass instruments, while Layers Classic has added an acoustic swing jazz and tango twist, bringing more depth and flair to the piece. Additionally, a dancer cosplaying as ROUGE makes an appearance, adding excitement and immersion to the video!

We hope you enjoy Nikke: Goddess of Victory and Layers Classic’s version of the theme!

"A masterpiece released in 1990 that still leaves a deep impression on our hearts even 35 years later.

A collection of beautiful OSTs from 'Cinema Paradiso' combined into one song. We present to you the live performance from Layers Classic's [Acoustic Cinema] concert at Lotte Concert Hall.

The beautiful melody of Ennio Morricone, a master of film music who passed away in 2020, becomes even more poignant as time passes.

The excitement is further heightened by the presence of composer and conductor Brandon Lee (Lee Seong-jun), known as Korea’s ‘Andrew Lloyd Webber’ (Frankenstein, Ben-Hur), and the Layers Chamber Orchestra. Enjoy a wonderful time with the performance by Layers Classic."

레이어스클래식의 스타일로 리메이크하였습니다.

이탈리아의 작곡가이자 바이올리니스트인 비발디가 작곡한 사계는
봄, 여름, 가을, 겨울의 사계절을 묘사한 곡으로 각 계절마다 3악장씩 총 12악장으로 구성되어 있습니다.

그 중 여름의 1악장과 3악장을 3분안에 컴팩트하게 들을 수 있도록 한곡으로 편곡했으며,
뜨거운 여름날의 모습을 담은 1악장과 3악장의 비바람,천둥과 번개를 표현했습니다.

레이어스클래식의 사계 여름과 함께 무더운 여름을 건강히 이겨내길 바랍니다!☀️

Summer is getting hotter and hotter! 🌡️

The world's most famous classical piece, Summer from Vivaldi's Four Seasons, has been remade in the style of Layers Classic.

The Four Seasons, composed by Italian composer and violinist Vivaldi, depicts the four seasons—spring, summer, fall, and winter—and consists of a total of 12 movements, with 3 movements for each season.

In this version, the first and third movements of Summer have been arranged into a single piece so it can be heard compactly in 3 minutes. The rain, wind, thunder, and lightning depicted in the first and third movements evoke the feeling of a hot summer day.

December 23, 2023! This is a live performance of ‘Bolero’ from the ‘Year-End Concert with Layers Classic’ held at Icheon Art Hall.

Label's 'Bolero', which is also included in Layers Classic's new album 'the Classic', released in October 2023,
It is popular around the world as it is a large-scale symphony with an original length of 16 minutes and more than 60 people performing.

The addition of an orchestra to the trio version of Layers Classic, compressed to just 5 minutes, gives it a compact yet grand feel.

This is an immortal classic song by Spanish-born composer and violinist Pablo Sarasate (1844-1908).

Zigoinerweizen, meaning ‘Gypsy airs’, is a famous violin song with a unique gypsy atmosphere.

It is a fateful piece that violinists want to play well as it requires difficult techniques and musical skills.

It was newly arranged as a violin, piano and cello trio to match the composition of Layers Classic, and is like a duet between cello and violin.
It presents a fresh arrangement that is difficult to hear anywhere in the world.

헝가리의 대표적인 집시 무용, 음악으로 남녀가 파트너를 이루어 우아하고 느린 움직임으로 (라시(lassú)) 시작하고 점점 정열적으로 빨라져 야성미가 폭발하는 빠른 부분인 프리시(friss)로 곡이 이루어져 있습니다.

Layers Classic's new series 'the Classic' taking place on Jeju Island!

'the Classic', which will introduce all songs from Layers Classic's new full-length album, which will be released for the first time in two years in November, will feature a variety of classical masterpieces ranging from violin solo masterpieces to orchestral symphonies, performed by piano, violin, and cello. You can enjoy a beautiful music video with three instruments and a special arrangement of Layers Classic.

The eighth song, ‘Czardas’, is Monty’s world-famous gypsy masterpiece.

This is Hungary's representative gypsy dance and music. The song begins with graceful and slow movements (lassú) in which a man and a woman form a partner, and gradually becomes faster and more passionate, with a fast part called friss (friss) that explodes with wildness.

The ‘Czardas’ presented by Layers was performed with the concept of a violin and cello playing a performance battle with the sunrise at Jeju’s ‘Seongsan Ilchulbong’, a UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage site, and is the title song of the newly released album ‘the Classic’.

그 일곱번째 곡인 ‘보칼리제’ 는 러시아 작곡가 ‘라흐마니노프’의 대표 곡으로 그의 작품 중 가장 사랑 받는 솔로 성악곡이며 전 세계에서 가장 유명한 클래식 명곡 중 하나입니다.

'보칼리제'는 단어 그대로 가사 없이 모음으로만 부르는 성악 곡으로 클래식의 많은 솔로 악기들이 편성을 가리지 않고 독주곡 바꾸어 전 세계의 공연장에서 연주되고 있습니다.

The seventh song, ‘Vokalise’, is a representative song of the Russian composer ‘Rachmaninoff’, the most loved solo vocal piece among his works, and one of the most famous classical pieces in the world.

Vocalise is a vocal piece sung with only vowels without lyrics, and many classical solo instruments are performed in concert halls around the world, regardless of the arrangement.

This video captures the mood and lingering mood of autumn and blends it with the sad melody of Vocalise.
It is structured in such a way that the cello and violin play the same theme once, allowing the fresh experience of listening to two instruments and two different performers in one song.

그 여섯번째 곡인 녹턴 No.20 C# minor는 폴란드 작곡가 쇼팽의 대표곡 중 하나이며 전세계에서 가장 유명한 클래식 명곡 중 하나입니다.

또 평생 피아노 곡만 썼다고 해도 과언이 아닐 정도로 피아노 명곡을 많이 남겼으며, 피아니스트들이 가장 사랑하는 작곡가 중 한명입니다.

녹턴은 레이어스 클래식의 새로 발매될 앨범 'the Classic' 의 더블 타이틀곡 중 하나이며, 1집 앨범의 타이틀곡 Moonlight (Nocturne x Moonlight Sonata)에서도 쇼팽의 녹턴을 사용할 만큼 레이어스 클래식이 애정하는 작곡가입니다.

이번 영상은 제주도의 아름다운 일몰을 담아내고자 여러 날 동안 제주의 서쪽에서 촬영되었으며, 특히 일몰 명소인 곽지해수욕장에서 아름다운 석양을 담아냈습니다.

The sixth piece, Nocturne No.20 C# minor, is one of Polish composer Chopin's representative pieces and one of the most famous classical pieces in the world.

It is no exaggeration to say that he only wrote piano music throughout his life, leaving behind so many masterpieces for the piano that he is one of the composers most loved by pianists.

Nocturne is one of the double title songs of Layers Classic's newly released album 'the Classic'.
He is a composer whom Layers Classics loves so much that he even used Chopin's Nocturne in the title song of his first album, Moonlight (Nocturne x Moonlight Sonata).

This video was filmed on the west side of Jeju for several days to capture the beautiful sunset of Jeju Island, and especially captured the beautiful sunset at Gwakji Beach, a famous sunset spot.

Have a happy time with the sorrowful sounds of the violin and the calm cello, the melody of the piano that harmonizes with them, and Chopin's Nocturne harmonized with the sunset of Jeju.

그 다섯번째 곡인 헝가리 태생의 피아니스트 겸 작곡가 프란츠 리스트의
'콘솔레이션 3번'은 리스트의 피아노 곡 중 가장 유명한 곡 중 하나이며
한국어로는 ‘위안’이라는 제목으로 알려져 있는데요.

리스트 본인이 뛰어난 피아니스트로 명성이 자자해 "피아노의 파가니니"라
불리기도 했으며, 화려하고 기교적인 명 피아노 작품들을 많이 남겼습니다.

피아노 뿐 아니라 낭만파 시대 대표적인 작곡가 중 한 명으로서 신낭만파에
속하고, 교향시를 창시하여 음악에 문학적 요소를 도입하고 자유스러운
화성을 사용하여 그 시대에 큰 영향을 주었답니다.

이번 영상이 촬영된 차귀도는 제주 서쪽에 있는 가장 큰 무인도로 아름다운
절경과 노을이 아름다운 곳입니다.

The fifth piece, ‘Console No. 3’ by Hungarian-born pianist and composer
Franz Liszt, is one of Liszt’s most famous piano pieces and is known
under the title ‘Consolation’ in Korean.

Liszt himself had a reputation as an outstanding pianist and was
sometimes called “the Paganini of the piano,” and he left behind many
splendid and virtuosic piano works.

He was not only a piano composer, but also one of the representative
composers of the Romantic era. He belonged to the New Romantic school
and created symphonic poetry, introducing literary elements into music
and using free harmony, which had a great influence on the era.

Chagwi Island, where this video was filmed, is the largest uninhabited
island in the west of Jeju and has beautiful scenery and sunset.
It's a beautiful place.

그 네 번째 곡인 '윌리엄텔 서곡'은 이탈리아 낭만파 가극을 대표하는 작곡가 (G.Rossini, 1792~1868)

Layers Classic's new series 'the Classic' unfolds in the beautiful natural scenery of Korea!

'the Classic', which will introduce all songs from Layers Classic's new full-length album,
which will be released for the first time in two years in November, will feature a variety of classical
masterpieces ranging from violin solo masterpieces to orchestral symphonies, performed by
piano, violin, and cello. You can enjoy a beautiful music video with three instruments and a special
arrangement of Layers Classic.

The fourth piece, 'William Tell Overture', is a song by G. Rossini (1792-1868), a representative
Italian Romantic opera composer, and is the world's most famous symphony among Rossini's
few instrumental pieces.

As the fourth guest in the Super Collaboration series that Layers Classic has been presenting
for several years, World-renowned flutist Jasmine Choi (Na-kyung Choi) joined us.

In particular, while Gabriel Faure's Siciliano, set in Jeju Island in [the Classic ep.3], expressed a
pastoral and pastoral atmosphere, the William Tell Overture features the flute, which plays the high
notes among wind instruments in the orchestra, and the violin, which plays the high notes among
the string instruments. The highlight of this video is the way they lead the song, subtly competing,
but still getting along together, like two-horse carriages.

그 세 번째 곡인 '시칠리아노'는 근대 프랑스음악을 대표하는 작곡가 가브리엘 포레(G.Faure,1845 ~ 1924)의 곡으로 이탈리아의 시칠리아섬에서 생겨난 무곡인 시칠리아노는 많은 작곡가들의 음악 속에서 아름다운 전원풍경을 배경으로 가진 음악으로 작곡되었습니다.

Layers Classic's new series 'the Classic' taking place on Jeju Island!

'the Classic', which will introduce all songs from Layers Classic's new full-length album, which will be released for the first time in two years in November, will feature a variety of classical masterpieces ranging from violin solo masterpieces to orchestral symphonies, performed by piano, violin, and cello. You can enjoy a beautiful music video with three instruments and a special arrangement of Layers Classic.

The third song, 'Siciliano', is a song by Gabriel Faure (G.Faure, 1845 ~ 1924), a composer representing modern French music. Siciliano, a dance song originating from the island of Sicily in Italy, features beautiful rural scenery in the music of many composers. It was composed with music in the background.

World-renowned flautist Jasmine Choi (Na-kyung Choi) was the fourth guest of the Super Collaboration series that Layers Classic has been presenting for several years at Sincheon Ranch, the only natural landscape in Jeju Island where a ranch and the sea are adjacent.

Jasmine Choi, one of the most active flautists in the world, sings the gentle yet
Siciliano, with its powerful flute sound and fantastic harmony combined with Layers Classical, will provide a more special experience than any other Siciliano.

그 첫 번째 곡인 '볼레로'는 프랑스 근대 인상주의 음악을 대표하는 작곡가 모리스 라벨(M.Ravel, 1875~1937)의 가장 유명한 오케스트라 곡입니다.

본래 원곡은 16분의 러닝타임을 가진 긴 곡이지만, 단 5분 안에 볼레로의 모든 매력을 느낄 수 있도록 편곡했으며 제주도 송악산, 중문 대포 주상절리, 정방폭포에서 자연경관과 어우러지는 환상적인 연주와 영상, 오감을 자극하는 사운드로 마치 그 장소에 있는 듯한 경험을 선사할 것입니다.

You can enjoy a beautiful music video with three instruments and a special arrangement of Layers Classic.

The first piece 'Bolero', is the most famous orchestral piece by Maurice Ravel (M. Ravel, 1875-1937), a composer representing modern French impressionist music.

The original song is a long song with a running time of 16 minutes, but it was arranged so that you can feel all the charms of Bolero in just 5 minutes, and the fantastic performance, video, and five senses harmonize with the natural scenery at Jeju Island's Song-ak Mountain, Daepo Columnar Joints, and Jeongbang Waterfall. The stimulating sound will make you feel like you are there.

세계적인 재즈 명곡 'Bésame Mucho' 를 레이어스 클래식 스타일로 리메이크 해보았습니다

멕시코의 여성 피아니스트이자 작곡가인 콘수엘로 벨라스케스(Consuelo Velázquez; 1916-2005) 가 그녀의 16세 생일을 앞두고 작곡한 작품으로 알려져 있는데요.

'Kiss me much' 라는 의미의 이 곡은 다양한 언어와 음악 형식으로 해석되어 세계의 많은 가수들에 의해 불리는 명곡이 되었습니다.

곡을 쓸 당시 작곡가 벨라스케스는 15세의 어린 소녀로 ‘베사메 무초’의 가사를 쓰기에는 이른 나이였으나, 후에 인터뷰를 통하여 엔리케 그라나도스의 영향을 받은 작곡 동기를 밝히며 이 곡의 작사 작곡 당시까지 자신은 아직 어느 누구와도 키스를 해 본 경험이 없었다고 이야기합니다.

원테이크 라이브로 진행된 이번 촬영에는 레이어스 클래식과 함께하는 드러머 황보 정현님이 이번 영상에 재즈 드럼으로 함께해주셨답니다.

We remake the world famous jazz song 'Bésame Mucho' in layered classic style.

Mexican pianist and composer Consuelo Velázquez (1916-2005)

She is known for the piece she composed ahead of her 16th birthday.

This song, which means 'Kiss me much', has been interpreted in various languages and musical forms and has become a masterpiece sung by many singers around the world.

At the time of writing the song, composer Velázquez was a 15-year-old girl, too young to write the lyrics for “Besame Mucho”

Later, in an interview, she revealed her motivation for composing under the influence of Enrique Granados, and she wrote the song until the time it was composed.

She says she has never kissed anyone before.

In this one-take live shoot, Hwang Bo-jeong-hyun, a drummer with Layers Classic, joined us on the jazz drum for this video.

도니제티의 오페라 '사랑의 묘약' 중 대표 아리아인 '남 몰래 흐르는 눈물'과
모짜르트의 레퀴엠 '라크리모사'를 섞어 'Tears'로 다시 태어났습니다.

레이어스클래식 2집앨범의 수록곡이기도한 'Tears'는
바리톤 이응광의 진한 에스프레소와 같은 중음역대로 본래 테너의 음역대로 부르는 느낌과 전혀 다르게 사랑에 상처받은 남자의 진한 슬픔을 느낄 수 있습니다.

“Tears.” is a mix of the most beloved aria of love Donizetti’s opera The mystery of Love’s “Una Furtiva Lagrima” and Mozart’s requiem Lacrimosa.”

We wanted to express the sadness of love through these two songs which both have meaning of tears.

We collaborated with the best baritone in the world Lee, Eung-Kwang a
This is the first LAYERS’ work where vocal and instrumental music meet.
We tried to capture the stories of the four men in a compelling melody.

Mark Summer (1958~)

Born on April 3, 1958 in Encino, CA, Summer grew up in Los Angeles, California playing piano, guitar and, from the age of nine, cello.
From the beginning he was very interested in alternative genres, and as a teenager playing in a rock band called The Purple Testament, later known as The Plague. Summer studied cello with Edwin Geber of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, then with Geber’s wife Gretchen Geber, and graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Music, continuing his studies with the Geber family with Stephen Geber as a cello performance major.

After conservatory, Summer worked in the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra for three years. Looking for alternative genres, he went on to play in an assortment of alternative ensembles until, in Winnipeg, he met the violinist Darol Anger. Shortly after, he was invited by David Balakrishnan and Anger to join Turtle Island, and moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1985 to perform permanently with the band. Summer left the band in 2015 to pursue a solo career. In 2011, Summer made his solo concerto debut with the Alexandria Symphony, performing Balakrishnan's Force of Nature, written especially for him. He has lived in the town of Novato, outside of San Francisco since 2009.⠀

대한민국 최고의 반도네오니스트 '고상지' 님과의 세번째 콜라보레이션🥰

발로 추는 탱고를 넘어 귀로 듣는 '누에보 탱고' 창시자!

아스토르 피아졸라의 1986년 작품인 탱고의 역사 (Histoire du Tango)는

탱고의 역사적 흐름을 곡의 악장 별로 반영해 기타와 플룻를 위한 곡으로 만들었다고 하는데요

시대가 지나고 탱고의 발전에 따라 연주되던 장소도 점차 바뀌는데,
악장의 제목들은 각 해당하는 시대에 탱고를 듣던 곳을 의미한다고 합니다.

[1악장] Bordel 1900

1882년 부에노스 아이레스에서 시작된 탱고가 혈통이 다르고 직업도 다른 여러 부류의 남자들이
술집에 모여 함께 춤추는 게이 탱고의 모습을 그리고, 밝고 즐거운 모습을 나타냅니다

[2악장] Cafe 1930
춤추기보다 듣는 것을 더 선호하게 된 사람들이 카페에서
로맨틱한 탱고에 집중하고 있는 것을 그리고 있습니다.

[3악장] Night-club 1960
급속도로 확장되는 탱고의 혁명과 함께 나이트클럽으로 음악을 듣기 위해
달려가는 사람들을 그립니다

[4악장] Concert d’aujourd’ hui
“오늘날의 콘서트”를 의미하는 것으로 현대 작곡가들을 떠올리기 위한 악장이며,
미래의 탱고를 의미하기도 합니다.

지구촌 플랫폼 '유튜브' 를 통해 전 세계인과 음악적 교감을 이뤄나가며
'구독자 𝟒5만, 누적 조회수 𝟕𝟎𝟎𝟎만회 (𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐년 𝟖월 기준)'를 기록한 레이어스 클래식의 영화 음악 연주곡들과, 콘서트에서 한번도 선보이지 않았던 다양한 애니메이션 𝐎𝐒𝐓를 (디즈니,지브리 등) 선보일 계획이다.

특히 공연의 감동을 더하기 위해 최고의 연주자들로 구성된 '레이어스 챔버 오케스트라'가 본 공연을 위해 결성되었으며,뮤지컬 '프랑켄슈타인' .'잭더리퍼' 의 흥행을 이끈 음악감독이자 '한국의 앤드류 로이드 웨버' 라 불리는 작곡가 겸 지휘자 '이성준'이 지휘봉을 잡아 시네마 콘서트의 묘미를 더욱 살려 내어줄 예정이다.
