Ive had this demo on my PS3 for a long time and never tried it. After having done some cleaning and upgrading my PS3's 500Gb HDD to a 1Tb SSD, I decided to download everything in my PS Library I own. Gave this demo a shot...

Short version it hasnt aged well as a demo and its extremely short, like takes about 10-15 minutes to complete and thats not even rushing.

Weirdly enough this has a lot of resemblance towards how Babylon's Fall (2022) looks and somewhat felt. Trinity SoZO used this canvas filter painting filter first, but seem the developers of Babylons Fall wanted to bring it back. Canvas filter looks murky in Trinity, and it didnt look good in BFall either.

Trinity is Single Player with 3 Party Members
BFall is Multiplayer with 3 Players (Game is officially shutdown)

Plays like Monster Hunter vs Plays like a Souls-Like.

... okay now im knit picking but and I think you all get the idea...

How does 2 completely different Developers & Publishers a decade apart, make such similar games with Feature Role swaps?

Diablo IV [Beta] - The Butcher Slaughtered my &$% [PC - 1440p]

Sir Meowthius 2023-04-10 | Rumor was said that the Butcher would randomly spawn and hunt you in certain dungeons. I had him spawn and he totally was OP and slaughtered my character... Despawns upon death. Very similar to the Diablo III RoE Nemesis demon that hunts through your friends lists.

Hogwarts Legacy - Dragonflies popping in & out

Sir Meowthius 2023-03-03 | OCcassionally you catch a glimpse of the Dragonflies in game and wonder what they look like up close. Well I was really surprised when a couple actually popped into scene on a quest.

They dont move at all, they are low poly resolution, and "Shrink" & "Expand" in & out of view like something from a 5th & 6th generation game. Just odd and I dont think the developers really expected anyone to be able to get a close up of them since the Zoom Feature is barely existent as its tied to the Targetting / ADS system which is like a 1.10x Zoom...

Hogwarts Legacy is actually a well polished game, but does have a couple critical flaws due to Memory Leaks if you play more than 2-3 hours a session. Most of its barely noticeable, I am just more exposed to identifying these types of things with the long history of Alpha & Beta Testing in the past. For ML's to take a few hours to present themselves is quite impressive since they normally show up real fast or in particular spots or facing certain directions, immediately.

Contains Story Spoilers.

I need to say that it was a serious pain just getting all 4 House Trophies. You need to start the game 4 times (or be able to get an autosave before you choose your House at the sorting) and make a separate Hard Save per character for each House. This makes each run for the House Trophies (or Achievements on Xbox or Steam) take 2-3 hours each with skipping as much dialogue and speeding up interactions as possible.

Hogwarts Legacy - Beautiful Sunrises [PS5 - 1080p]

Sir Meowthius 2023-03-03 | Even in Performance Mode (which there is really minimal effect from Fidelity & Fidelity+RT at a distance) the Sunrises look Calm and Warm. Nice touch for the atmosphere of the game.

God of War II - Time Slow Against Lahkesis Glitch/Bug (Game Breaking) [PS2 - 720p60]

Smugglers Run 2 - Vietnam Map - Volcano Island & Out of Bounds Object [PlayStation 2 - 1080p]

Sir Meowthius 2022-11-26 | Random exploration trying to identify an issue with my Hauppauge HDPVR 60 and decided to traverse the edge of the map.

In the very far distance behind the island there is a couple of block boxes beyond the invisible barrier. Unfortunately there isnt a great view of them, especially when using an actual PlayStation 2 Console with a direct input HDMI Converter. I will see if i can get a better view of this using an emulator. Unfortunately PS2 Emulators are not capable of a Free Cam Plugin/Hack.

Used the Low Gravity Cheat and Unlimited Ordinance Cheat to get on the Volcano Island. Not possible to do otherwise.

Skip to 8:08 where Low Gravity & Unlimited Ordinance is activated and then I launch myself.

9:08 I get stuck in the Volcano, nothing inside there except a difficult time trying to get out.

Roughly 10:52 I spot the objects out of bounds.

Soulstice - Crappy Combat Issues - PS5 [1080p60]

With the angle of the camera And its positioning Around the player During Certain combat scenarios You do not have A depth of focus on where your character is in relation to enemies And how close you are To attack them. Other issues remain Towards the QTE Buttons mid combat Not registering When they are supposed to And When they do come up The enemy is already Executing their attack Which becomes unavoidable.
