173: Picking a Master Lock No. 575 Padlock with a Homemade Pick and Tension Wrench Lock Hak 2021-12-12 | In this video I picked open a Master Lock No. 575 padlock with a homemade medium depth hook lock pick although it's on the longer end of a medium hook and homemade bottom of the keyway tension wrench.The dimensions for the part of the tension wrench that went into the lock are 0.044" thick by 0.080":wide by 0.350" long. I wanted to list them here because I was wrong about how thick the tension wrench was when I meaned talked about it in the video and because I made this tension wrench specifically for this lock.

I actually picked this lock before last Thursday's #QuickPickThursday video youtu.be/aUNxNKRtfak but then I said I would post that video first or at least I tried to say that but it opened so quickly I didn't get it all out. In this video I'm picking a wafer tumbler padlock with no branding on it. However, the key says SMART on one side and TOW on the other. To open the lock I using a homemade .047" bottom of the keyway tension wrench and a .025" Peterson Munro which is a modified Hooked Diamond AKA a DeForest Diamond that was designed by a Think Person customer from Australia. In the video I called the Munro an Aussie because Peterson sell a set of 3 of them as the "Aussie triple threat". I'm am not sponsored or in any way affiliated with Peterson I just wanted people to know which tools I'm using.PS I just learned that when I use the video editing tool to enhance how my videos look one uploading from my Android phone to YouTube that the videos get downgraded to HD instead of being in 4K. I'm pretty shocked how quickly I was able to get it open because I used to really struggle to get it open. I believe that was the first video I got it download on which was useful feedback that I probably shouldn't do that kind of editing again. I've really come a long way since then. 155: Picking a Slippery Yale Padlock Lock Hak 2021-09-25 | The oil dripping out of this lock made it far more challenging to open than it would have been if I could get a better grip on it and well you'll see what else the oil made harder to do. I believe this is a wafer tumbler lock but I'm not a 100% that's what it's called. If you could either confirm that it is indeed a wafer tumbler or or correctly identify it for me in the comment section I would be very grateful.

Both the key and the lock have "2293 D" written on them because it's only a four pin lock I thought it first that was the bidding but would they write that on the lock itself? 153: A Follow up, Unboxing, and Lock Gutting Video Lock Hak 2021-09-19 | 3 videos in one. I was able to get the shackle fully open afterwards. It turns out the shackle is slightly bent and it needed a lot of force and to have the oil wiped off.
152: Advice Need I cant get this Schlage Lock Out of the Handle Lock Hak 2021-09-17 | In the video I wasn't sure what kind of lock it was although after I took a closer look at cylinder I realized it's just a Schlage. I bought this lock from my local Habitat for Humanity ReStore without a key. It was an easy lock to pick but I can't get the lock out all the way out of the handle. 150: Is this Yale Lock Unguttable? Lock Hak 2021-09-11 | Well this is certainly a frustrating lock. Not only was it a lot of work to get the tailpiece off which I did off camera but then picking it on camera was particularly hard and then after I got it picked up and I couldn't remove the core with or without the key. So if anyone has any advice on how I can get this lock I would really appreciate it.Update I was finally able to get the core out of the lock. I'll be releasing an update video soon.

At least the tension wrench is supposed to be 0.050". However, the end I'm using measures 0.045" while the other end is about 0.050" but it doesn't fit in the the lock.
