As well as the fact I wanted to integrate my starclan judge idea from years ago.Brief summary:After years of fighting, Mapleshade, trudging through her starless punishment, looks for her children. As cruel as Starclan has been to her, they blessed her with the ability to see her kits every full moon. However, this time is different. When meeting her kits, Mapleshade begins to truly lament on everything. The fact that her innocent children had such an early grave yet, was it all worth it? the bloodshed? Nothing has really changed. Despite the wrong done to her children that happened when they were alive, was the reaction truly justified? Or was the blame unfairly given to 3rd parties? Frecklewish’s Judgement | Animatic MissySheepSheep 2021-12-20 | I HAD TO DO SOMETHING WITH THIS AUDIO- IT WAS TOO MUCH OF A GOOD OPPORTUNITY.AnywayAbout this mini AU:Ok, let me first start this out with the fact that I do NOT believe that Frecklewish should be in the darkforest. I was just as surprised as y’all when I found out she was. However, it does not excuse the fact that she said and did things that’s are NOT ok. Her grief, just like Mapleshade, does not justify her actions. It can only make the reason for her doing so somewhat understandable. But it annoys the hell out of me that the WC fandom all of a sudden wants to act like she is nothing but innocent. Guys, you have to understand that she not only called kits “creatures” but attacked their mother right in front of them, actively telling her leader to drives babies out, and stood by doing nothing as she watched them get swept away. She has every right to be mad at Mapleshade. However, she has no right to verbally attack babies that did nothing to her. “Oh, but Frecklewish can’t swim!” Who is asking her to swim…? That’s like saying that you could not save that drowing kid in the lake cause you can’t swim, even though there are life floats (branches and sticks) everywhere. And you don’t even call for a lifeguard or guide them. You just sit there. And do nothing. Frecklewish could have at least tried, or asked if they were alright afterwards. I still don’t think she deserves hell though…Maybe if there was a purgatory she could probably fit there. And later on, she might be accepted into starclan to be with her family. However, since she is in the darkforest, I tried to make it where there is a bit of a better reason to why she is there. Frecklewish ends up cursing the kits and Mapleshade’s name in her last dying breath. Filling her heart with hatred for neglected kits. Kits that she neglected. Which later on does not sit well with the starclan’s judge. She ends up being judged by Birchface as well, and he rejects her. This devastates her because she believed that all her actions were on the behalf of upholding her brother’s name. However, Birchface was nothing but disappointed in her. And with that, the judge makes the final call, and kicks Frecklewish down to the darkforest.(keeping details very short lol) Edit: here is a doc i name for a MAP for this AU!
