It was a cool celebration. Remember the Mickey hand with the GIANT 2000 on the ball? You might just see it! (Hint: stay til the end) Here's a video I have of the Tapestry Of Nations parade that happened in the World Showcase. It's a fun parade, but it took up the entire walkway. I remember hearing that music start and running the other way just to avoid the shutdown!

I had to do a little research to find out who was in this video. I believe the first performers are Sahara Beat in Morocco and the second group is Marvaille De Guinea. Both of them are amazing performers and really missed at EPCOT.

Well, it looked like this! Just a short little video, but it brings back memories. I used to love the party atmosphere around Jimmy' Buffett's place. I haven't seen the stilt performers outside of Margaritaville in a while.

Take a drive to the Florida coast! Where do you go? Well, if you're a big Parrothead like I was at the time, you drive to the town in one of your favorite Jimmy Buffett songs. So, I walked around Cedar Key, Florida with my camera. This was before the condos and timeshares took over this town. Loved my lunch at The Captain's Table ( I think that was the name) as a huge pelican sat at the window and watched every bite. Enjoy a lazy day at Cedar Key!
Hi8 Trivia: Can you name the Jimmy Buffett song? Comment below. No prizes will be awarded. I'm just curious if anyone knows the song!

Then... well... um...
Yeah, so this video is posted for history and nothing else. A sad reminder of when changing a ride goes wrong. I LOVED the original with the Dreamfinder. I was angry after I rode this version. Incredibly upset at what they did to my favorite ride at Disney World. It's never really recovered which is sad but at least Figment was put back into the ride.

Streets of America? I really miss that street! Did you ever see the Osborne Lights? It's not in this video but there are some shots of that area. And don't forget the TV Stars Hall Of Fame! You want to see a dark, jerky, blurry video of an extinct ride? Boy, do I have the video for you! Yeah, it's not the best but I'm posting it so you can hear how many times my back cracked during this thing! I always got nauseous on this thing and it wasn't because the immersive ride. It was the jerking back and forth of that time machine. If you rode it, you know exactly what I mean! Also, it really was a unique experience that transitioned nicely to The Simpsons Ride. Anyway, thanks for watching the video.
