Mac Plus programming in 2025 1Bit Fever Dreams 2025-01-05 | My videos on 68k Macintosh C programming will continue and show you how to program flicker free, fluid animated sprites with masks. 60 fps is the goal and 30 fps is the fallback in case the loop gets busy.Bonus: a MIDI playback engine in C that I've been working on for few months now, starting in python on a modern PC, but then porting it to the old 68k macintosh in C. This requires a MIDI interface that plugs into a serial port and some way to make the sounds, like a Roland Sound Canvas.The music engine is a good basis to use the built-in Sound Device of the Mac toolbox anyway, stay tuned for that as well.the artwork is by none other than Susan Kare.
