Palworld is the current hot topic for not only the Pokémon community - or even the gaming community - but rather for a lot of people that even have a slight relationship with either of the 2.

It’s pretty polarizing with anyone that cares to engage at all either loving or hating the game for various reasons. 2024 has been full of failure for some of the biggest names in the industry & the cause can be easily traced back to the incessant need to be on the bleeding edge of tech & other forms of greed. Meanwhile, Nintendo has been on the best run of its existence with the comparatively minimal Nintendo Switch.

Along the way, many have criticized them for this more reserved approach assuming that it would leave them behind their competition but now, with their competition doing things like speedrunning failure like PlayStation with the release & subsequent of Concord & the controversial announcement of PS5 with a $700 price tag. Or Xbox with its many layoffs after spending billions to acquire the talent they are leaving jobless.

Nintendo clearly saw the writing on the wall. Their strategy has left them looking to be the only truly sustainable business heading into their next generation console "Nintendo Switch 2" (or whatever it'll more likely be called). Let's look at what got us here. . .
