In the manual of the game(English and Japanese) the Yellow Kirby is referred to as Yellow Kirby not Keeby. The reason people think the Yellow Kirby from Dream Course is Keeby is because in an official Super Smash 64 Website the yellow Kirby Costume has this to go along with it "Yellow body: for 2P (commonly known as Keeby: Kirby Dream Course)". So Sakurai probably had this nickname for Yellow Kirby and it was just some fun trivia on a smash site.
