AstroFarsography | ZWO ASI Air Plus Review | Astrophotography Imaging Computer @AstroFarsography | Uploaded December 2021 | Updated October 2024, 3 hours ago.
The ZWO ASI Air Plus is an upgrade to the hugely popular ASI Air Pro model. The Plus brings extended WiFI capabilities, controllable DC-Out Ports and a host of other upgrades to the table. In this video I review a copy that was given to me from ZWO for review.
I previously have used the ZWO ASI Air Pro that I bought earlier in 2020, and the ZWO ASI Air Plus has built on this enjoyable platform already. Including a huge catalogue of Deep Sky Objects, Video modes for Planetary and Lunar Photography and Live Stacking also.
Powering the ZWO ASI Air Plus is simple - any regular astronomy DC out centre-positive power lead will do this. Whilst the ZWO ASI Air Plus can power external devices such as ZWO EAFs and ZWO DSO cameras. You should not power the mount with the ASI Air Plus.
