This is her biggest and most ambitious video she's ever done. This is the biggest chase I've ever done to be honest.This chase features The Defiance Charger from the SyFy show Defiance as well as three custom creations by master wasteland builder Spud Innit and his wife Ares Innit. This was shot in one day and cut in two days so to say it was a hustle is an understatement. It was the hottest day of the year and we had minimal crew to help us out. 12 hours of shooting and this is the process of shooting a grand chase scene. Last season we changed some tires and then were forced to take the RV off the land it sat on and drove it 80 miles south. during that drive we overheated 4 times and it took us 14 hours to complete the journey. Now the RV sits in the yard of a reputable RV and city bus service shop and with burgeoning enthusiasm both the JP motor pool and the RV pros are ready to take on the project head on. This is Steve McQueen's own Ferrari 275 GTB that he owned while filming Bullitt in San Francisco. This Ferrari sold for over 10 million dollars at RM auctions Monterey in 2014. This car has undergone a full restoration by Ferrari Classiche in Italy. It is a prime example of one of the most beautiful cars in the world. The paint job is unmatched. Watch the scenery perfectly mirrored in the flawless chianti red that rests on the door panel of this amazing car.When RM Auctions called us to shoot a video on their prize car we got to work right away. Spending 5 days of filming to get the perfect story. This was one of our first cuts of the video opening that was turned down in the early stages of editing. We thought it's a shame to have this sit on the hard drives with no one seeing it. The car-mounted shots were too beautiful to let go unnoticed. 1956 Oldsmobile 88 - THE FIRST BATMOBILE theAFICIONAUTO 2014-11-26 | Sid and Alicia Belzberg can now be considered amongst some of the most important people in the world of star cars. If not for their decision to take an old wreck into their care, today we would not have what is now known to be the first Batmobile ever made. Predating the Barris TV Batmobile, this car was built by a young man, in his garage, with a relatively new building material in 1963, fibreglass. Recognized by Detective Comics licensee in 1966, this car was officially designated a Batmobile. Masterfully restored by Mario Borbon of Borbon Fabrications, it is hard to believe that such a complete wreck can come back to life the way it did. Going up for auction http://www.ha.com in December, no one really knows just what kind of value this car holds because it rotted in a field for 50 years prior to its restoration in February of 2014. It could potentially be in the millions. Until we find out, here is a mini documentary about the car that no one knew about until now. So when there weren't any more available he bought the hard top version.This is one of his lesser known cars, but don't let that detract from the fact that this is still, to this day, one of the most beautiful cars ever built.The gavel came down on this car for $10,000,000. Sold by Vern Schuppan to an undisclosed buyer this car is guaranteed to survive the generations and keep the McQueen legend alive.
