I was just messing around trying to come up with ideas for strategies in different areas, and I accidentally clipped here. I began to wonder if you could get the heart piece this way, and it turns out that you can. It's a pretty precise angle needed for this, though.
The gate needs to be queued to rise, which does not grant this much utility.
