YAS. I love this movie. This is a quick and angsty thing I made. Story below:
Zootopia AU where there is no bad guy evil plot. The predators ARE actually going savage. Nick and Judy find these caged predators for the same reason: fear of what's causing it. When Judy tells everyone its a "biological component", Nick decides to leave her. Consider that they've already been partners, and now he's too upset by what she said, and he's scared tbh. Judy ends up trying to get Nick to listen to her out of reason, no matter how afraid she really is, which makes Nick get angry and actually go savage. He goes after her, and Judy tries to stop him, and out of reflex, she shoots him with her gun without thinking. Nick ends up dying.
This is displayed around the beginning where the lyrics start: where Judy is sort of being haunted by Nick's presence. The colors are the happier memories. Yeah, told ya this was angsty. Expected anything less hm?
