Here’s an earlier Pawbert animation test I animated during preproduction.
We didn’t have a voice actor yet, so I used Peter Sohn as a temporary voice reference—his unique tone felt like a good fit for the character at the time. Jared gravitated toward Pawbert’s ear flicks and more cat-like characteristics, which helped inform how we moved forward with the performance.

The dialogue in this test is pulled from an interview Peter Sohn did for Monsters U.
