The ZOOM R20 has 8 inputs for simultaneous multitrack recording, but unfortunately, only 2 of those inputs accept male 1/4" plugs. So can you use those XLR inputs to record Pocket Operators, Volcas, and other synths? Here I test out several different types of cables and explain how you can take full advantage of the 8 inputs, even if you are not using XLR mics.
