If you’re zooming in like this, you’re doing it wrong.
To zoom in correctly on a talking head shot go to “effects”
Here “effects” and grab an adjustment clip
Go back and go to “open fx”
Search for grid and throw it onto your adjustment clip
Open the inspector, go to effects, open up grid
Set row cells to 2 and column cells to 1
Now use Tilt to line it up with your eyes in your first clip
Go too your second one and now you can zoom in
Just make sure you line up the zoomed in eyes with the line and you’re good to go
See the difference?
The reason this looks better is because your eyes don’t have to go anywhere when the zoom happens
So, it’s easier for the audience to follow and it makes the whole video more fluid
