Before we can talk about Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner (the best the series has to offer) we must talk about its 2001 processor, which more people have played but is nowhere near as good. It was because of that Metal Gear Solid 2 demo, wasn’t it? This retrospective series aims to review the two main games. However, I may do a third part that talks about the GBA game, the OVA and the series. We will see!

Weve already looked at a couple PS1 Gundam games now its time to look at one we actually got in the West. Mobile Suit Gundam: Federation vs. Zeon is a more arcade style Gundam game for the PS2. Its also got a lot of problems.

In this review we delve into a little known 1998 game for the Sega Saturn, developed by Sonic Team. It’s about a team of firefighters in the future who are sent on missions to save civilians from burning space stations. Its kind of a spiritual successor to the classic Saturn title ‘NiGHTs into dreams…’, which was also produced by Yuji Naka and Sonic Team It’s much more obscure than that classic title but no less an interesting to talk about.
