Zonal statistics algorithm in python from scratch. We use gdal and ogr to build a zonal statistics algorithm that summarizes data from a raster layer inside of polygons from a vector layer. This video is the first of a multipart series. In Part 1 we discuss the data needs and use python to load the data layers.
