This object is not actually changing shape with cubes growing as they tumble down the side of a hill. Rather, this is a stop-maotion video in which the object was rotated a small amount between shots, giving the ilusion of motion. These are 3-D printed sculptures designed by John Edmark to animate when spun under a strobe light. I chose to animate the sculpture using stop motion techniques rather than a strobe.
