Gamestop Fire Sale 🔥 €1100 in Savings Irish Nerd Life 2023-06-24 | Gamestop Ireland are are closing down today (June 24th 2023) and I managed to pick up a new system and quite a lot of games. Total saving over €1100!It is sad that this means there is really only one game retailer left in Ireland though. the days of the physical media seem to be numbered.

Despite all this I think it's well worth giving a go and can still be picked up relatively cheaply.

Rampage is a really good conversion for the time and blows the NES port out of the water. I've never been a fan though so my favourite aspect is the red cover.

This is another one I had from back in the day and I really enjoyed even though I'm rubbish at it. It's also another great Mega Drive port that showed you could still get good experiences on the platform well into the 16bit era.

Master System Challenge #9 - Double Dragon Ending Irish Nerd Life 2021-06-01 | This week's #Sega #MasterSystem challenge is to complete Double Dragon. This is actually a pretty good 8 bit version of the arcade game and included a proper two player mode, which makes it very different to the NES release.
