~~ABOUT THIS RELEASE~~
ARCOLOGY is an upcoming album about the far future, where technology meets our every need in an enclosed megapolis. But with this comes a sense of stagnation, melancholy, and yearning for what lies beyond. “Take Me Away” tells the story of our main protagonist, who dreams of what it could be like to explore the mysterious world outside her home in the arcology, the only one she has ever known.

This video is co-directed and filmed by the amazing Ian Jared Bell, and edited by yours truly! We filmed in two separate locations: for inside the arcology, we rented a city high rise condo in Baltimore - and for outside, we trekked all the way to the Maryland “Hell House,” which is actually the ruins of St. Mary’s College. It was a hot, hot day in August and we had to lug all our gear (as well as some wet cooling cloths) on a 45 minute hike through the woods - but I’d say it was worth it in order to snag such a cool location! 😄 Thank you, Ian, for playing the role of trail guide in addition to filming! Also a shout out to Thomas Francis McTear V for assisting with lighting and photography during the condo shoot, and to Maddie Harold for her amazing makeup skills!
