Today we're taking a bit of a shorter, yet still significant, trip down memory lane. The original Splatoon on the Wii U was one of the only games that I regularly played from early 2016 until mid 2017 when I started to contemplate wanting a Switch. Even though I only played the game for about a year and a half, those 350 hours clocked on this game were some of the most fun hours I've ever spent in gaming. If you ever come across this game for cheap, and the servers are still up, PLEASE give it a go. You won't regret it!
