In order to celebrate Zaya finally being CANON, I put together this video... I must have lost my mind because I made a 16 min Zaya video and I can't upload it all at once because it'll take 20+ hours to render... and so I have to cut it into parts. I'll probably upload the rest later.

P.S. I'm sorry if the song repeating is annoying, it's also really fitting because it did take them a THOUSAND years to get together, so...

I'm going to write a little speech here, so bare with me: WE MADE IT!!! All Zaya shippers since S11.5, WE FINALLY MADE IT!!! And those of you who only recently started shipping these two, I'm just going to say how LUCKY you are you didn't have to go through 3-4 of pain and misery!!! And we should all know Zig and Maya have a tragic and yet beautiful love story :3 I have just always known that something would always happen with these two. All the signs were clearly there! Tori, Katie, Cam, Miles, Zoe, Tristan, Grace, and Vince ALL SAW IT! That was way too many people to be delusional. I have to say the most painful season was S13, obviously. Maya kept denying feelings and I was just patiently waiting for when she was going to admit it! Grace finally pulled it out of her!!! She has been trying to push it out of Maya since S13, JFC. I'm just so thankful I wasn't crazy and knew Zaya would eventually happen! I love how all Zaya shippers stuck together and cried over this painful ship for years. We definitely got more louder when Maya admitted her feelings + the big kiss! I remember how I was in the minority, quietly shipping Zaya while Camaya/Matlingsworth were so loved... which I never got. I NEVER SHIPPED ANY OF THE OTHER THIRD PARTIES. I just think Zig and Maya have this chemistry that Zori, Camaya, Matlingsworth, and Zoemund never had! I guess I'm just one to NOT ship the "popular" ships... I just ship whatever the hell I want. I'll always love these two precious. They're seriously relationship goals!!! They have this emotional connection where they don't even need dialogue for you to know what they're thinking/feeling. Zig is Maya's rock. He is the only one constant in her life. While she was self-destructing, he saved her from herself. Maya also saved Zig, too by going to lengths to get him out of the gang. Maya said they PROTECT EACH OTHER and I am still NOT over Zig showing up at the spa for Maya just so that she wouldn't be alone!!! He's seriously the sweetest and Maya was so touched and kept giving him heart eyes :) The thing I love most about these two is that they were friends FIRST, and then took the time to fall in love. Best friends who fall in love make the best relationships (except for Dawson/Joey because good god...) Even after all the crap they've been through together, they managed to still stay in each other's lives, which is so important because in S13, it seemed like they were drifting apart, but then they ended up LIVING together. And even Maya's mom believed her when she said she and Zig were in love because ONCE YOU LIVED WITH SOMEONE, EVERYTHING CHANGES. You get to know all their secrets and things that you never once knew before. These two have literally been through EVERYTHING together: death, heart-ache, pain, misery, etc! Zaya is the most well-developed relationship on Degrassi, and nobody can tell me otherwise!
