One of the test flights last month showing FC-only cruise flight for ZeroAvia Piper demonstrator. Straight and level cruise flight over several circles around Cranfield airport, UK. All cruise flight performed on fuel cell power alone. Thermal behavior and aircraft performance in FC-only cruise flight was characterized and will be used for future powertrain improvements - now in the 19-seat prototype being prepared for flight tests later this year. Medium-distance tanks allow up to 1 hour endurance - a step on the way to long-distance configurations.
